They were very professional, very communicative, and provided lots of updates and they were responsive to my calls.

Joe was professional, efficient, and went above and beyond to make aure the job was done right, and on time. Because I no longer live in the Philly area, he sent pictures and updates every day. He and his crew worked over a weekend so that they could fit my job in before they started a major two-week job for someone else, just so that I would not have to wait. Joe even recommended my home to a potential buyer since he knew I was getting it ready for sale. That is what I'd call amazing service.

I cannot say enough about how amazing dealing with Joe and his guys were. They took the time for me to show them the areas that I was having issues with and explained to me what they were going to do that day to help with the problem. Joe continually kept me informed throughout the day of what was going on at my condo and what the workers were finding or not finding (based off of the preliminary inspection and possible problems that could have arose). The workers that were at my condo did such a great job of cleaning up after each day that you wouldn’t have known that drywall had been cut as clean as it was. Joe made sure that after everything was done that I was completely satisfied with the work that had been done and also advised me to let him know if there was anything that I was not happy with to let him know. They were such a pleasure to deal with and I couldn’t have asked for better group of people to deal with in such an unpleasant situation of having mold in my bathroom. I would highly recommend using Joe and his workers!

If you have mold or water damage problems, MSI is the only company you need to contact! MSI took care of a serious mold problem in my basement that had been causing me health issues. They also remediated two water damaged areas that occured while mold remediation took place. Let me say, if it weren't for Joe and his team of professionals, my family and I would not have a safe home to live in! Joe, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable about his business! What's more, is that he is patient and took the time to thoroughly explain the remediation process, answer all my questions, and kept me informed every step of the way. Also, he was straightforward and honest with his assessment of the scope of the work. His guys, Mike and Anthony, are true professionals. They showed up on time, documented the damage, took precautions to contain the affected area to protect my home from cross contamination and cleaned up at the end of every day - without fail! Removing the mold from my basement was a big job! Walls and rafters were remediated successfully. Before remediation, my house tested with high levels for serious molds. After, the air quality results on all levels of my home were 0-zero. That's right...from high to zero! AMAZING! In the middle of mold removal from my basement, I experienced two leaks. One, a pipe in my powder room leaked through the walls and ceiling. The second, during a massive rain, water damaged ceilings and walls on two levels of my home. In both incidents, Joe responded immediately, removing wet drywall and thoroughly drying everything up. I am extremely lucky and grateful that MSI guys were there when these leaks happened! I hope to never have to call MSI again….but if need be, they are the only company I trust to get the job done right! Joe is the real deal and MSI is the best!!

Throughout the entire process, working with MSI, and its owner, Joe Fiorilli was a seamless experience. I hired MSI after experiencing water damage and reading reviews for several similar companies. After reading countless positive reviews of MSI, the bar was set pretty high, yet Joe and his team still managed to surpass all of my expectations. Joe and his team were personable and professional, and after meeting them briefly, I was completely comfortable trusting MSI to work in my house without me there (my choice to avoid taking off from work). Joe kept me informed and was receptive to all of my questions. Being able to talk to someone that understood the situation and went out of their way to provide information and answer questions alleviated a lot of the stress. Aside from never getting the water damage in the first place, the entire experience couldn’t have gone better! Was horrified to find a basement mold spot from an unnoticed leak. Joe came out the same day to take a look and immediately scheduled an appointment at my convenience to get it taken care of. He and his team were polite, professional, and meticulous. They answered all of my questions and explained everything thoroughly. Can not say enough good things about MSI - would absolutely call again if needed.

We had some health concerns related to conditions we thought might be a mold issue in a property we are renting. Joe was prompt, courteous, professional and very informed about inspecting the home in Center City Philadelphia. He showed up as scheduled, was thorough and took four different air samples for testing for a variety of molds, etc. I received a very complete report of the findings after three days and he called to explain our results and any further course of action needed. He was very explanatory in what he found and how to interpret the information. I would not hesitate to use him again for other properties that we are considering buying or renting to disclose any problems that could be present in regard to mold. I highly recommend him if you have a need for this type of service.

They gave me great advise and said it was not worth having them out to fix the issue and that I should explore less costly options. Very helpful

I had referred MSI to a friend through Angie's List a few years back and she raved about their professionalism so I contacted them for our issue. I had no idea what to expect for this type of issue as it was several layers of problems, as is always the case in our 115 year old home. Joe was open and honest about the likelihood of cost, depending on what they found and was clearly knowledgeable about the issue. I didn't shop around at all, I trusted the recommendation from my friend in addition to being impressed by my initial conversation with him and reviews others have given him. Within an hour or two he had sent along a contract and then called me to let me know a date the following week he could get me in so that we weren't waiting until later in the month. His team of two workers were friendly, engaged my talkative four-year old, and were beyond impeccable in their clean up of a crazy amount of plaster and insulation. Joe even let me know when the guys were running only ten minutes late due to traffic that morning--- ten minutes! We have had many, many contractors in our home/money pit for various reasons over the few years we have lived here and one of my biggest pet peeves is that I very often feel ignored, spoken down to, or lied to. When I say that Joe and his team are the complete opposite of that, I mean it. He's not just a true professional but a genuinely nice person. One of his concerns through this all was my daughter's asthma, he didn't mind me texting him random questions and always called me back to throughly explain everything in detail. I completely trust his quality of work and to say how much I appreciate his honesty would be an understatement. While I hope to not to have to work with them again because that would mean more mold or water damage (unlikely in our old home!), they are the first company I have had here that I would absolutely recommend to anyone and would hire again without batting an eye. Joe's team was out to assess, fix, and clean a separate issue in our house when we asked them to take a look at a wall where we have had recurrent, random water along a chimney line. They metered it and saw there was pretty significant water damage. Joe called me that night to explain the base cost of this issue and the level of work likely involved, to make sure that I understood everything before deciding if we wanted to move ahead with it, knowing we were looking at a pretty large addition to our bill with this problem. I wanted the water damage taken out so we can work to resolve the issue finally after several years of failed attempts to get to the root of the leak. Joe was able to rearrange the calendar so his team came out two days later, spending a morning taking out what amounted to almost half of the plaster wall up to the chimney line. He called to tell me they discovered a closet behind it that had been dry-walled over and that they cleaned it free of water damage. My daughter's room was cleaner and less dusty AFTER they left than before! Such a great team at MSI, they are such professionals and truly nice, genuine guys!

Joe performed an air sample mold test of my house. He is very knowledgeable and explained the results clearly. Fortunately there was no mold.

If you need Mold Remediation done, MSI is definitely the place to call because they provided excellent service. They were on time, very professional, extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with, very friendly and helpful. They explained things as they were happening to keep us up to date on what was being done. Joe went above and beyond by calling us the next day and provided us with further suggestions and solutions to keep our basement dry & mold free. He even said if we had further questions down the road he would be more than glad to help us out. We were extremely happy with MSI and highly recommend them. We give them an A+.

The workers were fantastic and Joe is super to work with. It was a little more than I'd hope to pay but the work was well worth it. Was kept informed during the entire process which was a week to complete. Great company and would hire them again!!!

Joe was honest and told me exactly what needed to be done and what did not warrant action. Joe did a small job in another room without charging me is it was minimal and took very little time. Great service and completely responsive .

About 2 weeks after a flood in my kitchen, I discovered mold growing in one of my cabinets, so I called MSI (Mold Solutions and Inspections) right away. They did an AMAZING job… I HIGHLY recommend this company! The owner, Joe, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He spent a significant amount of time on the telephone explaining how the process would work. He answered all of my questions and helped to put my mind at ease. Joe also contacted me after the work was completed to inquire about our experience and to ask if I had any additional questions. The workers, Joe (a different Joe) and Mike, showed up on-time both days. They were extremely friendly and worked quickly. Joe and Mike were respectful of my home and cleaned up very well after they were finished. I was impressed with the number of pictures that were taken to document the damage (for insurance reasons). Joe and Mike answered all of my questions and kept me informed throughout the whole process. I felt very comfortable having them work in my home. MSI was genuinely concerned with helping to fix the problem and to make sure that my home was safe. They treated me like a family member/friend, not a perfect stranger. Never really understood how they were pricing; was it time? was square footage of amount of removal.

Joe and his team did a fantastic job! Joe was very easy to work with, is clearly an expert on mold remediation, and was genuinely interested in fixing the problem. Even after the job was complete, he took the time to advise me on next steps. He's a good guy and was supremely helpful. Plus, his crew was extremely professional and courteous. I barely knew they were there - they worked seemingly nonstop, were thorough, and left the basement and outside looking clean after the job was complete. Couldn't have asked for a better experience with a contractor!

The test found mold in the two place we suspected as well as black mold in our basement. Joe and his guys took their job very seriously and set up plastic containment areas everywhere they worked as well as a large air purifier. The tore the mold out of our walls and ceiling and pursued it past the point where it stopped to ensure they got it all then treated everything with chemicals. When we realized that a suspicious bulge in the wall of our entryway should also be investigated, we called Mold Remediation back and they opened it up for us, revealing old mold and water damage which they cleared out for us. They did another air quality test which found no trace of mold in the air. They were thorough, conscientious and friendly throughout.

The pricing quoted and agreed upon was much lower than I was fearing and the owner, Joe, was very thorough in explaining how they would go about treating and eliminating the mold. I felt very comfortable going forward and excited to finally get this project done. The workers who showed up walked be through their plan of attack and kept me informed with every step. The leak seems to have been due to a roofing problem that was likely fixed in the fall and I feel that overall I have a much better understanding of what happened. My house was left clean and I had a great follow up conversation with the owner on the telephone right after his workers left. I would highly recommend.

Joe and Mike were at my house for 4 days cleaning and removing the mold from my attic. They were very professional and took the time to answer my questions. They cleaned up when the left each day and vacuumed the floors. They took before and after tests for mold and the after test showed no mold. If I ever had a problem again I would use this company and I would also recommend them to friends and family.

My husband and I can’t say enough good things about their professionalism, speed and the excellent quality used to remediate our entire basement. The owner is wonderful to work with and provided very clear expectations and schedule related to the rather large project.
