Description of Work: My hot water heater went out on me on a Friday night. I called and they had someone here Saturday morning by 8 AM I know it was prime rate but I feel that they treated me fairly and gave me excellent service. We had hot water by early afternoon. Job took a little longer because I went from electric to natural gas. I have used M&M Mechanical for my eating systems (2 of them) and was well satisfied with that work also. I personally would recommend them they are located in Fleetwood Pennsylvania

Description of Work: Came and looked at A/C unit that had lost charge over the winter. Service engineer was punctual and went about his work in a professional manner. Kept my wife abreast of what he was doing. Did not just add gas and go but checked and rectified two leaks near the evaporator prior to charging the system. Would definitely recommend and use again in the future.

+ -1 moreThe worked turned out very good. They were fast about getting out giving a quote. Once the work was done, the bill came and the price was higher. I called and they honored the quote. The technician was out a couple of days later, showed up on time and got the work done quickly. I saw no need for improvement and may use them again in the near future.

It is difficult to find a contractor who provides competent, professional services. This is one you should keep on file. In addition to our satisfaction with M& M Mechanical LLC, we feel strongly to come to their "rescue" regarding a previous review of their services. We had noticed a very poor review of M& M on Angie's List prior to this submittal. Consider the individual posting the negative comment, as it would seem the person has difficulty with practically everyone they deal with.

+ 1 moreI can rely on their service, and service at any time if necessary .When I phone, someone answers or I get a callback in short order - it has been tried and trued - if, I left a message, they'll get back to me. Definitely, Accessible. This company has done a number of different jobs here. They have installed different equipment, serviced and advised me on maintaining it. Questions are answered and with clear explanations. Every employee sent here has been quite professional at their work. This last job , hooking-up to sewer with the added requests I gave them didn't make it the simpliest hook-up around here, but, they came prepared. to work each day. The values of common sense, skill and knowledge - I appreciate and they do a great job - they'll be back. At the end of each day, especially coming from the project manager, he'd say goodbye or say, "Thank you." Anyway, it sure makes you feel good to hear that nowadays.
Description of Work: I contracted M.&M. for the local project of Sewer Hook-up - connecting to public Sewer. The work I'll be referring to does not include the actual connecting into the sewer (soil pipe) from house, the break-in nor the backfill of old tanks, extending PVC out to the new line at the road. Nor does this cover obtaining the related permits / inspections. I must make mention, that I choose this "time" would make sense for another cellarway to be made to the outside. They busted (sawed) - through the wall and dug out for Bilco Doorway. The cost of this portion of the contract, entailed reversing the sewer in basement bathroom, PLUS... They extended the drains from the shower & toilet to go to sewage pump tank.(grinder tank) Installed drain piping and domestic water piping for laundry hook-up in garage, upstairs and the associated venting necessary. Installing a new toilet in my 1st fl. bathroom, with the reason for this; being that a different style commode, may make me happy once more. They took the drain piping from laundry to connect to the new sewage pump system. Provided and installed a grey water pump system at Wet Bar and connected to gravity sewer. Capped the existing sewage pipe to French drain. Because of cement floor section taken out for the holding tank to fit down in the created hole, finishing that area was needed and finally, replacing concrete and plywood subfloor in basement bath and finishing it with new vinyl flooring.

+ 0 moreM & M is always very fast and reliable. We have used them for leaking toilets, and heating and air conditioning issues. They always have come very quickly within 24 hours, but usually alot less than that. They assess the problem and always review what is going on before placing an order for parts etc. The jobs are completed timely and they are very neat. Our latest job was a leaking toilet that every time they fixed one thing, something else would go. The toilet was over 20 years old, so it was time for a new one anyway, but they did try save us money by doing the minor repairs first. When we ended up having more issues with it, they ordered the new one and had it replaced and back in perfect working order very quickly. We will continue to use them for our plumbing and HVAC needs.

+ -1 moreIt did not go well. I had used their services before and they had done a good job, so I trusted them. When I called them to fix the sewer smell, they said that I would have to spend a fortune fixing it. Eventually he sent someone out to fix it, and it did not cost nearly as much as he thought, although they billed me for two hours of time when he was only out for one hour. After a few months, the smell returned. I called them and told them that the smell was back, and they refused to come out again. I called several times and the calls were increasingly nasty. A woman even yelled at me. I told them that I was planning to contact the attorney general to complain and they sneered at me. Finally, I gave up and called another well-known service in town. They came out and explained that there was no real problem, I just needed to run the water and flush the toilet in my guest bathroom every so often because sewer gas was caught in the trap from not being used. Ever since, I run the water occasionally and there has been no smell. Even though M&M had done good work in the past, they treated me so shabbily that it is has erased all of the goodwill I had for them before. I would not use them again in the future with a gun to my head.
Description of Work: I called them to come out and fix a sewer smell that was backed up in my bathrooms.
