Description of Work: My son had a termite problem with the shed in his backyard. He asked me if I knew a good exterminator in our area. The owner of the firm we had used for years retired recently. I looked on Angie's List and found Pro Kill. It is a small, owner operated firm. The owner did the work himself. My son reports that he came when he said he would; he was very pleasant to deal with; his price was fair; and he explained everything in detail. This last bit was very important to my son because he has young children who play in the area where the shed is. My son was very pleased with the results. The owner also did an inspection of the house while he was there at no additional charge, and found no evidence of infestation that would require further work. In a field where it is relatively easy to take advantage of the buyer, It is great to find a firm that is as ethical and honest as Pro Kill.

Description of Work: We called for an ant infestation. Upon discovering the ants we immediately sprayed with household killer and made an appt days later with ProKil. The agent arrived and looked, inspected, explained how/why/where etc., and at the end suggested that we wait until definitive evidence came of a continued ant infestation. Also, he said to wait until the ants returned so bait could be efficiently applied (our household killer had scattered the ants). He basically advised us he could do the same thing that we just did and charge us for it, or we could wait and call him once we could effectively stop the infestation and charge us for a REAL job done. Honesty and integrity is a nice change in these rough times.
