I did not have the service performed, but I had to write a review because of the wonderful service I received over the phone. I called to ask about the removal of a hornet's nest that is in my tree. The woman I spoke to over the phone was so professional, helpful, and honest that I had to write this review as soon as I hung up. The reason I am not having the service performed is because she told me that it really wasn't necessary; that the wasps will die off in the fall and we could take the nest down then and throw it away, and since the nest is 20' up in a tree there was very little chance that they will bother anyone. She saved me $100-$200!! If I ever need pest control, I will be sure to call them back!

Very responsive but their product did not work well. Still had ants after two service calls. They were responsive in coming back out at no cost, as they have a 30 day guarantee. However, still had ants afterwards. Used powder bought at Lowes which seemed to work better.

Several years ago they came out and eradicated termites in a crawl space. Since then they have come out annually to spray.

We called Pro-Kill after unsuccessfully trying to get rid of the mice in our house. The owner (Wes) came and did an inspection and found the points of entry. We also discussed termite treatment that the house was in need of. We scheduled appointments for technicians to seal the mouse entry points and place traps outside as well as in the crawlspace, living areas and attic. We have not seen a rodent since. 100% effectiveness. The termite treatment was done the next week and during that process the techs even helped correct a couple of landscaping issues around the house.

They were available right away and came right on time. Aside from putting something down to kill the ants inside and outside, the exterminator also determined how the ants were getting into the house and why they were being attracted there so that we could rectify the problem. We were ant free by early evening and I haven't seen any since. They also gave me advice about what to use to kill the ants aside from chemical insect sprays (windex!)

The work was accomplished in an efficient and friendly manner.

VERY, VERY HONEST!!! He told me right away that what we had was flying ants and not termites. He described how termites were different. He offered an environmentally friendly ant control, but we decided not to do anything unless we see more insects. Another company said we had termites and wanted over $600 to treat for them. In my experience, this level of honesty is rare.

I called Pro-Kil in to take care of the termite problem at my house. It is a small, family owned and operated business. My calls were returned promptly and with friendly courtesy. Wes Waechtler, the proprietor initially came to examine the problem and gave me a concise analysis of how it should be treated. I learned more about termites and their habits in one hour than I ever knew before. He was not only knowedgeable but more than that he was concerned about doing the job right. There was a problem with my wet basement and when he and his crew arrived to do the job, he had to change strategy to make sure the chemicals weren't drawn into the house. He and his crew had to move some of the heavier items for me and clean up some of the site. They did they work quickly and thoroughly. When they finished the entire job, they cleaned up and put everything back in its place. I will recommend ProKill to all my friends and hope Angie's List readers will check them out when they need an exterminator.

They're good. They seemed to know what they were doing and they've been around for a long time. They were very thorough. They had to come back out twice and they didn't charge us for the extra visits. They were very good.

They were very professional and honest. There turned out not to be termite damage so I didn't have the work done. They took the time to explain the work that may need to be done. They gave me a lot of support information incase we needed help in the future. They did not even charge me to come out.

He basically sprays all the pests repellents and puts down traps if I need them. He sprays both inside and outside. He basically provides any services based on what I tell him. The exterminator is always nice and on time. I never have a problem getting anything done and if I need service before my scheduled appointments then they will come out.

Had them come out and inspect previous work, and they told me it would be in my best interest (and much cheaper) to get the company that did the work to come out and fix the problems. When I couldn't contact them, the owner of the company came out and checked everything out. He didn't give me the hard sell, and was very personable and knowledgeable of his business. He was flexible and accommodating. When I wanted to talk about other options, someone was always reachable by phone. The owner did the job quickly, and my wife was impressed with the work. I'll give him a call any time I have pest control problems.

They were fine. I've recommended them to a neighbor who had the same problem. They were very responsive from the time that I had initially called them to when they came out. They didn't remove the nest they just sprayed it. The nest is inactive now.

Fine. The fellow doing the work was fine, not outstanding, but fine.

Aside from a little confusion with the scheduling time (due to a reschedule after first appt. date rained), I was happy with service. Technician was courteous and friendly and explained what he was going to do before doing it. Service contract seems reasonable (3x/yr; $120 visit). It took about 1/2 hr to 45 minutes (and I have a large home).

Mark determined that the areas of wood that were soft was wood rot and not termite damage. I found this interesting in that he could have said it was termite damage and sold me treatment that I did not need. The granular piles were determined to be from ants. An estimate for a preventive application for termites was $1760.15 for my 3500 sq ft house. The estimate for ant control would be $128.40 x 3 applications or $385.20 for a full years treatment. Although this contractor has South Jersey phone numbers, he is no longer located in South Jersey. This company purchased a Medford, NJ company but closed it and only operates out of Trevose, PA. This may not be a valid concern but when I was trying to locate a contractor on my own, I routinely disregarded companies that were not locally based assuming they would not be familiar with local requirements.

I HAVE USED THEM OVER THE PAST 15 YEARS. THEY ARE ALWAYS PROMPT. THEY COME OUT WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL. THE SAME MAN COMES OUT EVERY TIME. HE IS ALWAYS POLITE and ALWAYS GIVES YOU AN HONEST EVALUATION.

I HAVE TO KEEP AFTER THEM TO REPLACE RODENT TRAPS IN THE GARAGE. I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO KEEP AFTER PEOPLE TO DO THEIR JOB. WHEN I COMPLAINED THEY RESPONDED AND HAVE PAID ATTENTION TO THE DETAILS SINCE. I AM HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE.

EXTERMINATOR IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK.
