Frank White Floors

Great company!

We have used Frank in the past, and were delighted to use him again. He fit us into his schedule as we were heading on vacation. He was able to match the color of the floors to the rest of the downstairs. The house was neat when we returned, and the floors look great! We will use him again to buff and seal the rest of the floors.

We hired Frank because he had experience refinishing and staining maple flooring. Our research informed us that maple is not an easy species to stain. Our floor was a prefinished natural Bruce Maple 2 1/4 " plank. Frank and his team arrived and finished on schedule, Mon- Fri. We decided to move out during this week since our 2 staircases' treads were also being refinished and there was no way to access a door without walking on wood. Frank sanded, waterpopped, stained, and applied waterbased polyurethane to a large area (8'x8') before I left so I could see a true sample of the color and the way the maple took the Jacobean stain. We requested he use Bona Traffic as the waterobased poly. Once I confirmed I loved it we left him to his work. He also rearranged some small areas of flooring in our kitchen (in preparation for a kitchen remodel). They covered everything in plastic sheeting, cleaned up, wiped down, and vacuumed before finishing. Upon our return I was thrilled with the color of the flooring. I did notice some tiny air bubbles and pet hair in the final finish coat in some areas of the floor, so I called Frank and he came right back and decided to do a screen and recoat. I made sure to turn off the HVAC system and fan prior to his final arrival. I am very happy with the finished project. I would definitely recommend him and hire again for a future floor. Frank is professional, courteous, personable, hardworking, and on time. He wasn't the cheapest estimate but the one I felt most comfortable hiring to refinish 2000 sq/ft based on recommendations and photos of previous jobs. We contracted for 4 coats of poly but received 5. I only wish he also refinished railings.

Frank and his crew did an excellent job. My floor looks amazing. This is the third time we have used Frank White Floors since we moved into our home 27 years ago. My floors went from a scratched up orange oak color to a beautiful weathered gray. Frank is a nice, personable, knowledgeable professional who is very easy to work with. We won't use anyone else for our floor refinishing projects. Frank is the best.

Frank did an amazing job. He is a true professional, meeting our schedule when others couldn't and providing advice as we needed it, on the floors and beyond. I would enthusiastically endorse Frank to anyone. I would not say that he is the cheapest but he is worth the money.

The project was executed excellently and the final outcome looks great. He worked with our general contractor and designer to adjust to changes in schedule. We decided to be out of our house during the refinishing to give Frank and his crew full flexibility to get the project done. They started on a Wednesday and completed the project the following Monday (Labor Day). They put in extra time over the weekend so we could be back in our home Monday night. They covered everything in plastic sheeting, cleaned up, wiped down, and vacuumed before finishing. Professional, courteous, and thoughtful are words to describe Frank and crew. I will hire Frank again for any wood flooring projects I have.

frank and his team were terrific. the refinished floors look just amazing. frank was on the job daily. he was prompt. his workers were professional and courteous. sanding can be messy. for us there was very little mess. the job took three full days....sanding , and 4 coats of stain and wax. the price wads fair for the job. our plan is to do more floors next year, and we will go to frank

Frank is the best. He was very responsive to our inquiries and needs. He listened to all our questions and took the time to answer thoroughly even though he's likely answered the same questions thousands of times in the past. Frank is punctual, his crew respected our house and worked carefully and Frank was present to supervise throughout the several day job. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our 'new' floors... don't hesitate to call Frank!

Mr. White manage to finish the job in time for the holidays, with little notice. He and his employees did a fantastic job and worked around my schedule. I would definitely use him again and have already recommended him to family and friends.

Frank was the best, all the way down the line. He was always friendly and informative. He just really knew his stuff! Since this was our first time dealing with flooring, he really guided us through the entire process nicely. Really really nice guy too, cant recommend him enough. I also have to mention that this is my first review on angieslist, I dont normally write reviews at all...but I had to do my part in supporting a great outfit like Frank White Floors. He went the extra mile, always. He even offered to help us bring in groceries! On the last day of the job, he stayed at it until 9pm that night just to make sure everything was absolutely perfect before he left. The floors came out better then we couldve imagined, they look amazing. A+ service, all the way around.

First, our floors look amazing. Second, Frank and his team were *quick*. (We had a number of renovations going on at the time, and Frank's team were the only folks in and out when they said they would be). Could not be happier!

Frank White is a personable and delightful guy. He is conscientious, hardworking and is passionate and knowledgeable about floors. The work was done in the time frame promised, the price was very reasonable and the end product was gorgeous. I would highly recommend him to family and friends and I will be doing more business with him in the future.

He was outstanding and very professional. He was here when he said he would be here, very prompt about coming. I called him and within the first 24 hours, he got right back to me. He had workers that worked for him and they were very good. He came to the house and checked on them. Some of the finer work he did himself. I was very pleased and I'm planning on having him come back to do another floor too.

Mr. Frank White was very professional and spent a great deal of time during the initial estimate. His knowledge of hardwood flooring is clearly extensive. Once he was contracted to perform the job, he did everything exactly as he said he would do. The finished product is beautiful. I would use him again.

Frank White, the owner, returned my initial phone call within 24 hours to set up an appointment for an estimate. He came to give me the estimate at a day and time that was convenient for me. He provided a written estimate whichincluded various options, and once hired, he started and completed the work in less than a week. The actual work took just two days to complete and his crew was very professional and hardworking. Frank himself supervised the overall project and I could not be happier with the finished product. I should have hired Frank years ago!

They did everything they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. They were extremely professional. They returned phone calls in a timely manner. They were extremely polite and attentive to our needs. They completed the job on time, and it's absolutely beautiful. I had one small board that wasn't quite right, and they had left the job. I called, and they came back within an hour to fix the problem. Their price was competitive.
