The white oak floors in our kitchen/dining room/mud room and powder room—all super high traffic areas were well worn and needed refinishing. We had hired Frank White 15 years ago to refinish the heart-pine floors on the second, and have always been happy with the work. We didn’t even really consider calling anyone else when the current job needed doing. And we are thrilled with the results. Frank and his crew work carefully, quickly, and clean. And his pricing was just right—solid value. We’ll definitely call him again.

Frank has been in the floor business for over 30 years. It was his father’s business which he took over after college. The work his crew did was perfect. He is a straight forward honest guy. I’ve used him twice. Once to refinish my first floor and again to install oak hardwood to the second. Best flooring guy around.

We highly recommend Frank White Floors. We had the hardwood in our living room, dining room, hallways, stairwells, and master bedroom refinished. After years of carpet replacement, unknown stains, and marks left by carpet padding Frank and his team brought our 60 year old hardwood back to life and it looks stunning. We never dreamed our floors could look so beautiful at such a reasonable cost. Frank guided us every step of the way. His vast finishing experience and tremendous knowledge on designer trends put us at ease and made selecting our stain and polyurethane finish both a worry free and stress free experience. Frank also provided us with several do-it yourself tips and guidance on trim work, floor transition molding, and finishing of the stair risers, all of which turned out beautiful. Frank and his team were very courteous and professional, sealing off all rooms they were not working in, leaving us with minimal dust clean-up and trim touch-up; much, much less than we expected with a floor refinishing project of this size. We will not hesitate to call upon Frank for future projects and highly recommend him.

Great! Frank was very responsive, quickly got me a quote, and talked me through considerations in stain color choice (as I had two species of wood in the floor and wear and tear from 70 years of use). With that we selected a great color and Frank got the whole house stripped, stained, and sealed in just a few days. It’s beautiful!

I settled on my house and Mr. White came the same night to review the work I needed done and give me an estimate. My settlement had been pushed back a few weeks and Mr. White was very flexible. His team was able to start my project the very next day and my floors were completed by the weekend. This was my first time hiring for this type of service and Mr. White and his team were very professional, personable and accommodating. Even the small things, like closing my windows before they finished the floors so the windows weren't left open over night.

The experience was great!!! Good communication all throughout the process, in detail when necessary. The level of workmanship and integrity is uncomparable. They made sure that the work did not disrupt our lives nor did the installation take a long time. Our original hardwood floors needed to be refinished and sanded. They look brand new and are gorgeous. Our back room had awful carpets and I wanted real hardwood floors. Our room had uneven floors so we had to order fake hardwood floors. It took no time at all to swap the floors out. Everyone was very professional.
