Description of Work: We had our roof done, received 6 estimates, Daugherty was reasonable, he is personable, gave samples, explained what the job needed, how he would do it, the time frame when he would start, how long to do the job and he was true to his word. The crew came as scheduled, when they left you would never know anything had been done except for the awesome new roof. They protected our property, and cleaned up better than they found it. He will now be doing our siding!!!

Description of Work: I had a new roof put on and all new windows the job was done quickly and the workers were very courteous also cleaned up very well we were very satisfied with the job!

Description of Work: He came to give me a quote on my roof. He advertises that the quotes are free, but after looking over he said that this is a mistake, he usually charges for a quote but he would waive it? He told me I would have a quote in a day or 2 and despite repeated attempts to contact him, he never returned my calls, nor gave me a quote.

Description of Work: remove old roofing material and install new shingles for both house and garage.

Description of Work: 1st we called Daugherty Contracting for our very Large Bay window in the front of our home that we had just purchased- he immediately set up a time to get the window measured , his representative from ABC supplies also came to our home to measure the window & make sure the window was right for the opening, the window arrived to our home within 5 days, the guys then came over & Installed the window- after installation of the window our home is easier 10degrees warmer!! Great job, great clean up! A small - Manufacturing error was noticed by Mr. Daugherty, he called his ABC Rep & they sent a repair crew out, at our convience to replace the molding damaged when the window was manufactured. Fast, ontime, always nice & great service. 2nd- we had an estimate done for the roof on our newly purchased home, he gave us a fair estimate , even told us; due to his busy schedule we would not be able to get the roof done until 2012- which we were fine with since it's not in ill repair, it just needs done. His prices are very fair & he is very friendly, always responsive to our questions, answers to the best of his knowledge & if he doesnt know he isn't afraid to call & ask the Supplier. 3rd- we set up for our home to be re-sided, we did discuss with Mr. Daugherty the need for better insulation in our home, he measured our home & gave us a fair estimate with explanations on the cost of increasing insulation on a home built in the 50's, we have included this in our future projects with this company. I believe that once you find a contractor that will forfil your needs, give you great pricing, and explain the process , you should stick with them. We have received other estimates on the roof that were considerably higher than the one we received from Daugherty Contracting. As well as siding estimates, we will use Daugherty Contracting for these two projects in the spring / summer months! Very fair, very nice staff & quick to respond to our requests. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Description of Work: Daugherty Contracting put a roof on an existing roof on the addition that I have. After they replaced parts of the deteriorated wood, new roll-out roofing was put down, and that was good for about a week until it rained causing the roof to leak. All seemed well for about one year when it rained etc, but then it all went down hill from there, and water poured into the room from the ceiling which caused the flooring to soften and a large hole began to grow in the floor. So, from that experience I won't be calling on Daugherty again.

Description of Work: Daugherty Roofing removed our old roof and installed a new roof as well as gutters and downspouts. He also covered the gutters with a leaf barrier and replaced an electric roof vent.

Description of Work: Called this company for a roof repair. I had one shingle blown off in a storm. The lady that answered the phone said they would call me that day or the next. Well, I am still waiting. And to add to my aggravation with them, since the repair was not made on the roof now more shingles are being torn off.
