I phoned to get free estimate. Left message and Scot called back promptly and scheduled an appointment to do the estimate (at his convenience). Scot did not show up at the scheduled time.. I phoned again to ask why and make sure there was no confusion and re-schedule if necessary. No answer so left a message. No response. Phoned again several times and left messages, but no response. I will not consider him again nor recommend him to anyone.

We love our new roof and house siding! Scott is knowledgeable, very professional, prompt and easy to communicate with. The work done was perfect and exactly what we wanted. The employees were very skilled - expert craftmanship, professional and cleaned up daily. We were included in the process, updated and asked if we had any questions, basically made sure we were happy with the job.

We received 3 estimates, Scott was the most reasonable, quick to respond, got the job done soon after we hired him. The work was excellent, our house looked awesome again. I would trust Daugherty's with any job as we've hired him twice for different reasons and have been completely satisfied.

Scot arrived when he said he would (quote and job), did what he said he would, and cleaned up well afterward. Better experience than the last time I had a roof replaced by a different contractor. Scot was recommended by a retired roofer I know, and I'm glad we took that advice.

Excellent! I actually started getting quotes about this job last fall and ran out of time. Scott was the only company that gave me the same price that he quoted last fall - the other companies all increased their bids at least 10 - 15%. He stopped at the house to give me the quote and explain the job and materials to me. When i was ready i contacted him, and although i expected to be 6 weeks out, it worked out in his schedule to get my roof done at about the 2 week mark. They were in and out in one day. i would definitely hire them again.

With the rain and the snow, it took them about a month to get it done. Normally, it would take them about ten days but we had on and off snow and rain. They were excellent. They cleaned up after they were done. They were there on time and left. They were late sometimes. They did a great job.

I had previously hired them for a porch on my rental property. So when I needed a new roof on my house they were one of the first contractors I called. They gave a great price and I chose them over the other 4 estimates. They were outstanding. They scheduled it quick and I cant believe how fast they were able to get it all done. They came and got right to work. They were careful to cover all of my plants and bushes around the house. They had the roof off in no time, they got it done quick. They chimney, roof and seamless gutters look amazing! They cleaned up so well you would not even know they were there. My neighbors even commented on how quick and clean they worked. I would recommend them to anyone!!!! I will definitely call them for future work. They are priced competitively and the work speaks for itself!

I called for an estimate and they were prompt with scheduling. Estimate was one of the best so hired for job. Was scheduled quickly. The work was done fast and great! The workers were professional and cleaned up area well. They were courteous and worked diligently. The work was outstanding. It does not even look like my porch. They had to fix rotten wood from bad windows. The wood was all replaced, as well as 14 double hung windows. Also replaced screen door and wrapped the outside wood so I would not have to worry about rot for may years to come. I would highly recommend them and will call them for future needs.

We had a medical emergency last year and in the middle of summer we kind of stopped everything but I did call Daugherty and he came within probably a day or so and he gave me an estimate on the project towards the end of October and he said he'll be finishing up the job and he said if there's any possibility that we're going to have a decent weather on November and he would come. I did get the estimate and I'm hoping to use him but I haven't contacted him. We got snow here; we have 6 months of snow. I would give him a very good recommendation because he came within the short time, he evaluated the job, gave me on the spot overall estimate and he promised to come back as soon as I could and I said I was kind of worried about, so he go out the roof looking during the snow season and he actually himself manages the company and he pull up the ladder on his truck and up on the roof and he put a sealant on and he did not charge me and I've been willing to get back. I don't use the computer that much, we've had so many things going on here over the winter and we are just getting a break in the weather now. I was looking forward to responding to that but we haven't done any other projects at all that's halted and I will be giving him a call again, hopefully he will be able to fit me into his schedule this year. He is a pretty busy guy. From the valuable information I got from him, he was so helpful and didn't charge me with anything for checking out the roof and keeping it good over the winter.

I had some vinyl siding that came off during a windstorm and needed it re-installed. I found this contractor on Angies list and after reading the reviews, decided to give them a try. They were courteous and friendly and responded promptly. They stopped to look at the job and gave me an estimate the same day. They performed the repair when promised and did a reasonably good job, although there is one piece of siding that looks like it could have been secured better. Overall, I would contact them again if I had other repairs or work to be done.

After he replaced the roof it leaked afterward.

He came out and gave me a quote quickly.

When I hired Scott I told him that I didn't know a lot about roofs. but I did know that if they leak it was usually from the flashing area. I told him I wanted all the flashing replaced. He did not replace any of the flashing, and it leaked in 2 places. He came and gooped caulk in the area. I sued him in small claims court and won the case, but he refuses to pay!

The guys who worked for us did a good job; they cleaned the roof after working on it so our roof was neat.

The quote was given on 6-1-12.....work was done on 6-14-12. The crew arrived by 8am and finished around 7pm. Scott has a very efficient, quality team working with him and it showed. I arrived home around 11:30am and the tear down was completed and the titanium underlayment was being installed. The shingles were being delivered in a timely manner as I parked . A ridge vent was installed and the shingles were nailed, pipe boots replaced, chimney reflashed +waterproofed. Ice guard was installed 6' from all edges plus on all valleys. It looked like a 2 day job,but the crew worked late and completed the job. Nail rollers and rakes provided a great clean-up to end a fantastic job. Well done!! I would definetly recommend to anyone needing any roofing work done.

He advertised that the job would be done quickly, and they got both roofs done in one day each! He had a large crew and they did a fantastic job.

it could not have went smoother, from tear off to clean up they did their job perfectly.

It went well at first ,the job was done with a few problems. the overhang was not one half inch but was ragged and uneven. I showed him the problem but disagreed with me even it was very apparent it was not done right. Also the roof vents were installed wrong. The roof caps were also done sloppy . The roof air vents started to come off. All the caulking was sloppy to where I did it myself. The last time he came repair the vent he was out side my house complaining loudly that he has been here enough times and was not coming back. My wife heard him say this , she was home. It was not even a year from the install that this all went on.These were repairs on faulty install.Still not happy the over hang.
