It was fine. They came out on a Saturday, which was nice. They service was quicker than the other company that I used. They were clean. They were pretty prompt. They were very nice. It’s husband and wife who comes to do the work. I would use them in the future.

I called Kevin's office and they were able to schedule the appointment for the very next day. Told me up front what the estimated charge would be. Very prompt, very professional and no hidden fees!

I will be a future customer of Harner Appliance Repair and recommend it to others in our area.

Kevin and his wife are just as good as it gets!!! I made the call and explained the problem with my washer. I was given the service charge and they scheduled for the next day. They called when they were on there way and arrived on time. After checking the washer Kevin told me that my washer was in great condition and he thought it was a plumber/drain/pipe problem. Having no plumber that I use I asked for a recommendation. Kevin suggested Drain Doctors. I called the D.D.'s then Kevin explained the situation to them. By then end of the next day I had my problem fixed. I like supporting the local small businesses in the area. Kevin Harner Appliance Service is quality, straight forward communication, and a solid service record. Thank you Angie's list and Kevin.

My Maytag electric dryer was making a thumping noise for a few days, then it just stopped tumbling altogether. I figured it was the belt, but I didn't know how to change it. I actually went on line and thought I could find directions, but after reading several instructions, they had different versions, so I decided I'd better just call a repair person. I made the correct choice. It would have taken me forever and I would have been so frustrated. Sometimes its just easier and less stressful to call a professional. Kevin Harner Appliance Service, Kevin and his wife both, are terrific. I called on Monday morning, they came out the following day, and had my dryer working in less than an hour. They also looked at my refrig that was leaking water. After only a minute or two, they knew exactly what it was and fixed the problem. It was such a minor repair that they didn't even charge me. Overall experience was great, I'd give them a 10 out of 10. I will certainly call them again if I ever need any other appliances repaired.

Called this company and explained problem that side by side refrigerator had stopped working. (no coldness either side) Owner said they could be over in an hour. Gave an estimate of cost of service, etc. Called to verify they were en route. Arrived, immediately located problem and gave very reasonable price estimate. Completed work efficiently and cleaned up, all in a very timely manner. They definitely know their stuff! Would use them again, if needed! I would highly recommend their services! My refrigerator in the garage was not keeping things cold or completely frozen. I figured since it was 15 years old it was probably time to replace the frig in the house and move the current one into the garage. I purchased a new refrigerator but it could not be delivered for almost 3 weeks. During that time I saw a commercial for Angie's list and thought just maybe I could find someone reputable and reasonably priced to look at it and make sure it was not worth fixing. The person that took the call was knowledgeable and told me to do a few things that may be causing the problem. In the meantime she would put me on the schedule for that Monday if it still wasn't working. The only thing I would be out was the $65.00 service call. Long story short. They came Monday and said it was just the fan. Ordered the part and put it in the next day. Called and cancelled the new frig. Would recommend them to everyone. Thanks Angie. Deb Gotshall Etters, PA

The price was very good. It is a guy and his wife. They work together and they are very good. We would definitely use them again.

Asked for model # during scheduling call and had parts available if needed. Showed up in specified time & called first to announce. Moved fast getting right to work. Replaced part and left info in case any other problems emerged or their repair didn't fix. Very nice & informative about nature of the work. Machine works fine now.

My refrigerator appeared to be "warming up" - things were not as cold, ice was melting and the water dispenser on the outside of the refrigerator had stopped working - it's a Frigidaire and it is only 7 years old. Of course, it's out of warranty but I tried the trouble-shooting solutions in the manual anyway to no avail. So, I decided I needed to call for service. I got Kevein Harner's name from Angie's List along with a couple of other service companies. I called a larger one first and they had to have someone call me back that evening but couldn't tell me when they could have someone make a call. They also told me if they were going to come out, they could only give me a 4-hour window. I just couldn't afford to take that kind of time off from work so I told them I was going to try somone else. Because I live in Harrisburg, I called Kevin Harner's East Shore number; he answered the phone and figured out over the phone what was probably wrong with the refrigerator. I then spoke with his wife who gave me a time for the next day with a 2-hour window. They called me when they were on the way, came exactly when they said they would, fixed the problem in short order and I barley had to take more than my lunch hour at work. Two weeks later the refrigerator is still working like a charm!

I called and told them the problem. They tentatively diagnosed it over the phone and quoted me a price. We arranged a time for them to come. They arrived, did the work and left. It all went quickly and smoothly.

The oven went kaput last night around 7pm. I called Kevin Harners Appliance at 8pm that same night and left a message looking for some help. At 8am today I received a call from Karen who happens to be one of the owners of Kevin Harners Appliance. Karen set the appointment to come to my house at 1pm today(now, keep in mind that Sears could not come out until June 8th, a week away). Not only did Kevin and Karen show up at 1pm, they had the job completed by 1:25pm! What great service at a very fair price. Please know that I will be passing thier info to friends and neightbors.

Company came and initially diagnosed a dryer problem. Came back with some parts in a little over a week. Kevin and his wife came to our office to get payed claiming they had replaced a few parts. We checked up on the unit as they were on their way to the office and noticed the one part part they had claimed to replace was not replaced. When we asked them to produce the old part they became quite hostile, fighting with each other and us and COULD NOT PRODUCE THE OLD PART. The dryer is working now but the disappearing part seemed pretty fishy.

Company responded to call promptly; diagnosed problem; and fixed as soon as part was available. Easy to work with. Explained the problem completely. Very helpful and professional Would use again in a heartbeat!

Our fridge wasn't cold, though the freezer was . . . . I called them and they were at my home within a few hours, and my fridge was back to new. They were very friendly and informative.

They answered the phone when I called. They were prompt, and they came here the next day and fixed it. They got here when they said they are going to get here. My refrigerator is still running. They were professional when they were in my house. I will call them again if I have another appliance go down.

They showed up promptly, were very professional, found the problem, and fixed it. The charge was fair and I was favorably impressed.

I emailed Kevin at night and got a response early the next morning. He and his wife arrived right when they said they would. They quoted me a ballpark over the phone going over several possible scenarios, which I really appreciated. Price was fair, and their attitude was helpful and friendly. I will definitely call them again. Not too many folks will do just what is needed, but Kevin is one of those you can trust. Also, Kevin had the necessary parts with him, and did all of the work in one visit. Pleased with the result, the person, and the price. Will recommend him to others where I work.

These folks are good! Our washing machine was only disposing of rinse water after wash and rinse cycles. It was not engaging the spin cycle to dry our clothes prior to removal. They (Mr. Harner and his wife) clearly demonstrated their knowledge and expertise analyzing and repairing all models of washing machines. As soon as Mr. Harner engaged our machine into a spin cycle and listened to what was occurring, he knew immediately what the problem was. Mr. Harner specified that a timer was needed, (did not have one with him) and quoted a firm price for the part. Mr. Harner made an appointment for the following day to clean and overhaul the tubs and replace the timer. The Harners were very prompt and on-time for each appointment. They were very efficient and precise with their work. They asked if we had children or pets who might be harmed if the washer was left in a disassembled condition over-night. The Harner's were quite helpful in suggesting various amounts of wash detergent and softener to use in the attempt to minimize future build up problems. I am very agreeable to make referrals on behalf of the Harners. Very Good Job! Well Done !!

I realized the fridge was leaking in the morning and called right away. They promised to show up later that day between 2 and 4pm, which they did. Within about 20 minutes, they discovered the problem and fixed it. No hassles, great price, friendly people. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service!
