I called about a dishwasher repair. After describing my problem, they advised a simple technique for me to try myself first and it worked!!! They informed me of my best options without charging or wasting my time. I will certainly use and recommend them to everyone. It's rare to find integrity and service like this.

I was so relieved that Kevin was able to fix our only 2 year old washer. While he couldn't find the source of the leak at first, he tried a few methods to get it working. They even had the parts with them so there was no second call necessary. In and out in 30 minutes with a like-new washer. It was very reasonably priced as well!

Kevin and his wife arrived at the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the problem. His knowledge of the LG washing machine was easy to see. He found the leak, called the supplier to order the necessary part, and returned the next day (on time) to repair the machine. Kevin tested the machine to insure everything was running correctly. Before leaving they gave us valuable product information. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and timely. I will be using them again.

It went very well. I was most comfortable with the Harners in my home.

I called Kevin Harner on Tuesday afternoon after discovering that my refrigerator was no longer cooling. Kevin said he'd be able to make the service call between 11am and 1 pm the next day. He asked me to get the model number and call him back later that day so that he could research the model and common problems and parts required. He told me to unplug the machine and asked if I had somewhere to store the food, which I did. On Wednesday, Kevin's wife called to say they would be able to come a bit earlier than 11am if I could accomodate them. When they arrived, they explained what they would do and the cost of the service call. Kevin found that the starter relay had failed, and was able to replace it in about 15 minutes. Overall they were in and out in about 30 minutes. They warranty their work for one year, which is pretty much unheard of. They were very personable and respectful. I've since already recommended them to a friend.

They are a husband/wife team and work really well together. Friendly, prompt, helpful, honest. We would use them again if the need arises.

It took a couple days for them to come out but they finished the job quickly. A part needed to be replaced in the dryer and they had it with them, installed it and were done in no time. Will definitely call them for future repairs.

I needed two large electric burners on my stove top repaired just 2 days before Christmas!! Stove is a Kenmore so I initially called Sears for repair. Sears made appointment for January 2014. No way! I was cooking the Christmas meal for entire family. I looked for applicance repair suggestions on Angie's List. I found and called Kevin Harner Appliance. I explained the urgency of my needed repairs. What a team Kevin Harner Applicance is!! We scheduled an appointment and they arrived promptly and completed all repairs needed. They even went the extra mile to leave and return with additional parts to ensure my stove was working correctly. I was able to cook my family's Christmas meal. I suggest that Kevin Harner Applicance be the one and only dealer to call when repairs are needed. I most definitely will keep them at the top of my list for applicance repairs.

They we polite, professional, knowledgeable, quick, concerned about not wasting our time or money. I was exprcting to have a $300 - $400 bill, but it was only $169. Within an hour the refrigertor was cold and ready to use again. My Maytag side by side refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling completely. I called Harner appliance based on the Angie's list recomendations.When I called the woman answered immeadiately, there was none of leave a message and I'll get back to you when I can. She took all of the information about my refrigerator but did say that she had to check on availability of parts before making an appointment. She called back within a few hours (2 or so). The unit is 16 years old and they didn't want to run out here charge us for the service call, just find out that they can't get a part. We set up the appointment, they called ahead before arriving to say that they might be 10 minutes early. They were very knowledgeable about what they were doing, knew right away what the fautly part was, it was the thermal cutoff realy on the compressor, willing to discuss why and how this part goes bad. The costs were: $65.00 service call $89.00 part $15.00 labor

They came over exactly when they said they would. Fixed my dryer for a lot less than I expected. They even leveled my washer for free. I will use them again!

FANTASTIC!!! Now this team knows how to please customers! Husband and wife, Kevin and Karen are prompt, professional and pleasant, and they were neat and quick (at the house for less than 30 minutes). The repair was very inexpensive, too. They apparently are animal lovers and were wonderful with our great dane, Lilli! We will definitely call Kevin Harner Appliance Service Company in the future!

Pleasantly surprised to see a husband and wife team show up. They work well together. They quickly found the cause, a bad motor in a 10 year old machine. Their advice: to fix this and the three rollers which were soon to go would be half the cost of a new dryer. Better not to put money into this one. I appreciated their honesty rather than just trying to fix it.

I called at 8 am Friday morning, and they were here by 10 am - very friendly and efficient! They diagnosed the problem, replaced the faulty heater element and also advised me that my dryer venting system was inadequate and may have led to the failure of the heating element. They gave me a coupon for service with a company that could fix the venting problem. I was very satisfied with their service and will definitely use them again!

As always they respond promptly to a service call. I left a msg over the weekend and received a phone call first thing Monday morning. After explaining the situation regarding my inactive dryer a service call was scheduled. I was given an arrival time and they arrived promptly at the given time. Service was performed by Mr. Harner as always in a professional manner with the best interest of the customer in the fore front at all times. This man is in my opinion "Mr. MacGiver"!

When I called around 9:30 am, she asked several questions to try and determine what the problem might be. Because our refrigerator was not working, she promptly made an appointment for 11:00 am - 12:00 noon. They arrived at 11:00 am and went right to work. Their experience enabled them to determine what was needed and they worked together to disassemble and replace the defective part. Some ice had accumulated at the back of the freezer compartment so he used a heat gun to melt it and dry up the water. Then they cleaned the freezer compartment before replacing the covers and baskets. They were very friendly - we talked about our pets - and finished by 12:00 noon. Considering the prompt response and efficient repair time, we feel the charge was very reasonable. They also provide a 90-day warranty on work completed. We would definitely call them again and recommend them highly.

Tried to make an appointment to fix a dishwasher. Woman answering phone was rude and abrupt. She told me "We don't go out that far - I had not even told her where I lived at that point. "Dishwashers would take us weeks anyway. You need to find someone else." Wow. After all the good reviews I was surprised.

He came out and took a look at the washer/dryer unit and advised that it would be expensive to fix. The manufactuer then came out and said they would replace the part. I would definitely go back to him if I needed anything to be replaced or repaired.

They came out several times, replaced a part and then switched it back with a refund when it didn't fix the problem. Although they were unable to fix the problem, they tried everything. What they charged was more than fair. In fact, I almost feel like they didn't charge me enough. I guess that just goes to show that local is always better than corporate. Hands down, they will be the only one's I will call if I have future fridge problems.

They arrived when they said they would. They figured out the problem very quickly. It turned out to be an electrical issue; the dryer itself was OK. They helped me fix the issue even though they didn't really have to. They were friendly and very helpful.

They knew exactly what the issue was. Made repair quickly. Very professional. Freezer has been fine since. I have referred this company several times to my clients. Excellent to work with.

They were spectacular! They were right on time, same day as I called. The repair was done quickly, correctly and for a very reasonable price. The Harner's provide awesome customer service and are a treasure trove of information regarding major appliances.
