Dear Customer, We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the services that Burkholder's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. provided to you. As a non maintenance or non service plan customer we charge a service fee for our technicians to evaluate problems for the customer. We do not charge for a service call if a customer is requesting a quote for a new installation, if that was the request we would send a salesman on the call. In your situation since your unit was not working properly we sent a technician out to diagnose your problem, had the your coil not been frozen we would have serviced the unit the day, and offered the quote to repair the evaporator coil. This would have allowed us to come back a second time once we received the evaporator coil for your system,. We do keep many items on our trucks to avoid having to incur additional service charges, however evaporator coils are unique to their systems and are ordered specific for the customer. Burkholder's Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., would be happy to provide you with information and pricing on our maintenance and/or our service plan agreements. Our plans offer you an annual preventive maintenance service where you are not charged for a diagnostic visit, discounted the parts & labor pricing and depending on the plan would have covered the costs of the additional service calls saving you money.
