Description of Work: Replaced the aquastat controller on the oil burner. It was after-hours, and the response, and service were very fast. The repair tech very professional and knowledgeable. Pricing was on the higher side of acceptable, but being that it was an "emergency" service, it was billed at an overtime rate.

Description of Work: This was a geothermal heat pump install. It also involved two other contractors for well drilling and excavation. Other than a delay in excavating due to snow last winter, once the installation started it went along fairly smoothly. The system is in and functioning as expected. All personnel representing Burkholder's were professional, pleasant to deal with and took a great deal of care in the installation of the heat pump. We would be happy to recommend Burkholder's for this type of installation.

Description of Work: resolved no heat problem of an oil fired boiler. Called on Tuesday, they found a way to service unit early Wednesday morning ,heat restored by noon. |Cleaned, replaced filters, other service items resulting in unit achieving efficiency level of 85%. Technician was courteous and professional. |

Description of Work: The Lande workmen claim things are not hooked up correctly in the Attic for the 2nd unit since it was installed (by them) but the owner has not returned my calls or provided a detailed inspection/discussion on the situation. Wonder what they don't want to talk about?? I guess the feeling is my new unit can't be using the heat pump portion, only the electric portion. I'd never know as I don't climb up there nor would I know what I'm looking at!
