I had bought a furnace from them several years ago. My experience with them has been excellent. I actually put it up on face book because there were so many things they learned that needed to be done to my heater during my tune up. They also checked the things they could that I didn't know mattered. The receptionist has always been incredibly helpful every time that I've called up. John, the service man who comes out each time really shares a lot of information. I've learnt why it's important to have the service done. A lot of people feel when they have a service they are going to get ripped off because it's something that they don't really need, but with all the different things that he has taught me about what they do during the service, I have found out the importance of having it done.

The work involved visits over several weeks, because we had to get the gas company to come and remove their lock from the gas meter, then get the kitchen stove hooked up, and then use up the fuel oil that was in the tank. When the tank was virtually empty the work was finished all in one day, including cutting the tank in half and removing it. Burkholder were punctual, efficient and fun to have around. We have not been more pleased with service since moving to Pennsylvania two years ago. Thanks to Dave Wieder, Claudia in the accounts department, and Skip and his helpers!

I got an estimate from Lande HVAC in Bethlehem,Pa and the owner himself (Ted) showed up to do the estimate. After doing a sight survey of my existing unit he gave provided some solutions a good, better, best scenario and the options involved. I have three children and they have allergy issues. With this Ted advised to do a system air sanitizer that would reduce the amount of allergens being pushed through the sysem. I am glad we did and my children now sleep better than before. Ted emailed a formal proposal to me for review and even discovered rebates being offered by the manufacturer. After signing the contract Lande scheduled the installation in a timely fashion. The installation crew consisted of two employees who arrived at the designated time. They took good care not to track any outside mud through my house and disassembled my existing unit quickly and quietly. They then did the necessary prep work to install the new unit which would happen on day 2. Day 2 arrived and both installers worked as efficiently as the previous day. What a great experience all I needed to do was open the door and Lande did the rest. Great work from a smaller company that truly takes pride in workmanship.

Everything went very well. The technicians arrived bright and early on the scheduled date and installed all equipment and did all electrical work required very efficiently. The job took 2 days and they made sure everything was cleaned up before they left.

Dave came out and gave us an estimate of the job. He couldn't have been nicer. We had to wait a few days, because the air handler, but they installed the system in one day. The installers were great guys, who had to work in a very hot, cramped space in my attic. They honored the Angie's List coupon with no problem and the price came in at exactly what Dave said it would. I did check with another company and their price was a lot higher. Everyone I talked to and worked with at Burkholder's was very nice. They were terrific and I highly recommend them.

They were very pleasant and great to work with. I would highly recommend them and will call them again.

He was very good. He gave a detailed cost estimate. He was very responsive and very professional. I would contact him for another quote in the future.

Called Burkholders to have it checked out. Technician came out, identified the problem with the coil, and recharged the coolant while they identified the part and ordered it. They came back out once the part came in, installed it, added a line filter for the return. The technician was very personable, walked me through the process as I was asking him questions, and explained what he was doing the entire time. Was a pleasant experience!

They had the best price, but other than that, they were average. They gave me a 5% discount for the Angie’s List coupon. Just this morning, I discovered that their installation was lacking in some respects. They had to drill a 3-inch hole through the siding of the house to connect to the outside unit, and they never filled it with foam or anything. They had some lines going through it, but there was over a 1-inch hole from the inside to the outside of the house through which any mouse or squirrel could get in. I live in the woods, so this is a significant problem for me. I have been patching, fixing and painting trying to get that back to where it ought to be. Other than that, the workers were fine, and the person who quoted was very nice too; I felt I had to keep an eye on him. They had blocked off the return vent during the installation. They said they would come back to fix it, but even after two weeks they hadn’t, so I called, and they said they would call me this week, but they haven’t yet called. Their followup is somewhat lacking. Overall, for what I paid, I felt like I got my money’s worth. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Our air conditioner was on the fritz. I called our normal service people who we've done business with for the last seven years. After getting a run around and an attitude while trying to schedule an appointment I said goodbye. Called Burkholder's got pricing and set up an appointment. Service tech was quick, professional and friendly. I have since recommended them to several others and entered into a service agreement with them as well.

I was very satisfied with them. They were very good. They were prompt, on time, and thorough. It was a good experience. They are really good about being punctual.

They have done a couple of projects for me over the last year. They put in a new heat pump about a year ago. They pay attention to detail and they did a really good job with the little stuff like the craftsmanship. I would definitely use them again. They are more concerned about attention to detail and doing it right than doing it quick.

The owner of the business met with us and explained fully all options and listened to what we wanted and installed our furnace with a minimum of fuss and disruption. We have been very pleased with its performance .

I spent approximately $7,000 on that work. They were very professional and they worked with me because I had done some of my own research and they helped me out in what to get because the prices were high. They had the gas heater which I was looking. The guys came in, removed the existing equipment and installed the new equipment and I believe it took two days for the installation. They even painted things to match the exteriors, which we did not ask but they did and was nice. They did a really good job.

The crews arrived promptly and completed the job in a single day. The new heat pump, a Bryant, is simply wonderful. The unit is the quietest I've ever heard, hardly more than a whisper inside, almost inaudible on the outside. Comfort level in the home is better than ever; and energy usage is dramatically lower. Highly recommended.

Everything went wonderful. They showed up on time and got everything done quickly, and I have no complaints with the work they did. That was the first time that we had used them, but I would definitely use them again in the future, and I would definitely recommed them to others.

Great. The work was terrific and the guys were nice. It cost EXACTLY the estimate. The only suggestion would be to include a completion date in the contract.
