They did a great job. My A/C unit is very efficient. My electric bills were much less over the summer. I also have a maintenance agreement with them. I enjoy doing business with them.

Quickly and professionally.

The install took 3 days. Plan to be home to supervise, that way there are no surprises. I worked with them all three days and it was a pleasant experience. They were very friendly and easy to get along with.

The technician who performed the A/C inspection was very professional, thorough and friendly. As part of the service, we were suppose to receive a new filter for our air conditioning system. We were told by the technician that the person who was suppose to do our inspection called out ill and he had the new air filter in his truck. He said someone would drop a new filter off at a later date. When we spoke initially to schedule our inspection, we were asked to measure our filter so they could bring the right size for our system. When the new filter was actually delivered, it consisted of two smaller filters taped together -- the air flow indicator on one side was the opposite of the other side. When we called Burkholder's about this, we were told it didn't matter which side was inserted? When we asked for a different filter, we were told they would not give us another one. Since the price of the inspection was far below what we had paid for previous service calls, we did not press the issue. I did email Mr. Burkholder, however, to express our disappointment. He responded promptly and offered to send us a certificate for dinner at a local restaurant. We did not accept.

A representative called us to schedule service. Someone was out to our home in a short period of time. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. Suggestions were made for further energy savings.

I called on Sept 4 to make an appointment because my central A/C had stopped blowing cold air over the holiday weekend. The receptionist scheduled service for Sept 5, with arrival time between 10:00 - 12:00. Someone called at 11:25 to say the service technician would be here in about 20-25 minutes. Dan arrived at 12:05; I recognized him from when he performed maintenance on my A/C. He was very polite. I described the problem to him, and within a few minutes he was able to tell me that the capacitor was not working, and that he would replace the capacitor and confirm that the blower motor was working. This did not take very long. The motor was working fine, and my air conditioner was cooling the house again within minutes of his arrival. The sticky humidity level inside my house quickly dropped, and the house temperature was also soon very comfortable again.

The technician was very nice and prompt. He was very thorough in the cleaning and left no mess behind. He answered all of our questions and appeared to be very knowledgeable.

They were responsive and they did the job. i would definitely use them again.

Carl came to my house to give an estimate on the gas grill removal. I previously had trouble finding someone to do this work, and I was pleasantly surprised at Carl's positive demeanor and confidence about getting the grill removed within a week's time or so. In the meantime, I ordered a new gas oven from a large home improvement store, but I had no idea that they would not install in for me. When I called Carl to discuss the timing of the gas grill removal, I mentioned my problem with the oven and he offered to take care of it for me. I was so thankful that Lande Heating and Air Conditioning was available to solve both these problems for me! The two gentlemen who arrived at my house for the gas grill removal and oven installation were easy to work with and polite. They arrived on time and completed their work efficiently. I was very pleased with my experience with Lande.

Burkholder's not only serviced our air conditioner for the season but also offered advice about how to keep the area around our air handler cleaner by replacing our dryer vent. We took the suggestion, and now our dryer operates more efficiently and the utility room is more pleasant. The service person went out of his way to be helpful.

It was a large job and it took several days. I have a geothermal heating system. They were very good. They gave me good advice. I think they did a very nice job. They have been familiar with the equipment that has been here even though they have not been servicing it. They had been recommended to me and so I called them. The price was probably good.

Overall it was GREAT!! I did get an estimate from someone else that had a little lower price, but after I had talked to Dave about everything I felt very confident and comfortable that I was getting a better deal with Burkholder's. The amount of time I was told it would take was right on also. The workers (Justin, Dave&Dave) that came to the house were awesome and did an amazing job!

They seem to be reliable and know what they are doing. The customer service was fine.

It went very well!! I had purchased an Angie's list deal for the air conditioning maintenance. I called to set up an appointment, and the person I spoke to was professional and courteous. This was the first time I had Burkholder's perform maintenance on my air conditioner. Dan, the technician, arrived on time. He was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. He performed the maintenance and then pointed out that there were no emergency shut off switches on the pan and trap, as described above. I asked him for an estimate, and the price he gave me was very reasonable. I was happy that he could take care of this while he was here. However, if he wasn't I would have scheduled an appointment to have it done. In addition, he pointed out a potential problem with the placement of two of the air conditioner ducts. They are currently suspended against the attic ceiling with metal brackets. He explained that since the roof becomes so hot in the summer, condensation would likely form on the ducts, causing damage on the ceiling near the vents for those ducts. In fact, there is a stain around one of those vents, and we had been unable to determine the cause! Thank you, Dan, for diagnosing this for me! The metal brackets will be removed tonight.

Mr. Robert Burkholder is the owner. They are extremely responsive. If I call, someone will be down here very quickly. If there is an emergency, they will be here immediately, but if it is not, it will be longer. The guys who work there are very personable. They are very interested in making sure that my equipment works, and they are good.

I actually called them on a Sunday, and they were here first thing on Monday morning. I found water all over the floor in my basement, and as it was late on Saturday, I called them on Sunday. They were able to do it in twenty four hours, which I think is very good. The person who answered the phone on Sunday, told me that he would set it all up, and that I would get a call on Monday morning. I expected them to call and say that they would be here later on in the week, but they called on Monday morning, discussed which model of water heater I wanted, and they were here in the morning. They also brought a new water heater with them in their truck, but when they unpacked it, they found that there was a big dent in it. They sent out another truck with a second water heater, and got it installed, all in the same day, so I am pleased.

They techs are extremely professional, as well as the person doing the scheduling. If they are going to be late, they always call. They show up and apparently know what they are doing. I will keep using then in the future.

Carol from Burkholder's called to set up the appointment for scheduled maintenance. Then she called again when the tech was on the way. Polite, professional, friendly and clean, Al made sure he put his booties were put on every time he came in the house. He checked out both units, did a little cleaning in the systems and filters, made a few recommendations and went on his way. Once again very pleased with the services and people providing the service. Have told most of the neighbors they should switch to Burkholder's. We're happy we did.

The technician was fantastic. They were there when they said they would be here. They were very professional. I would highly recommend them.

Carl, the owner, visited and provided an estimate. He was friendly, knowledgeable, open-minded about different ways to do the job, and helpful. Also, his estimate was $1,000 lessthan a competitor. Installation was done in one day by two employees. Carl was on-site a few times (he came and went during the day). The installers were very professional. They moved things as needed, and then moved them back. When they made a mess by drilling in the wall (which was necessary) they cleaned it up to my satisfaction (and I have high standards for cleanliness). They seemed knowledgeable and highly competent. My overall experience was excellent. I would DEFINITELY use this company again. Everything was done right from my initial call through the final contact in which Carl provided me with paperwork to get both federal and local tax credits/rebates.

This project went very well from beginning to end. The salesman provided a full explanation of the many options we had for the heating and cooling units and was very helpful in putting together the best system for our needs without being pushy. After getting three estimates, I decided to go with this firm because of the thoroughness of the estimator and recommendations I had received about this company from colleagues who had used them in the past. The installers were polite and professional, patiently answering any questions I had. The equipment was installed as promised, neatly and efficiently. While the cost of replacing a home HVAC was a shock to our budget, I can't imagine that the experience with the firm and it's employees could be any better. I would work with this firm again and have already recommended it to friends.
