Great. Burkholder's called to let me know when Dale would arrive, which was the originally scheduled time. Dale arrived on time, checked the A/C equipment outdoors and in the attic, and showed me what my HEPA filter looked like. (It was filthy...) He told me what it would cost to replace, so I asked him to do so. He asked whether the thermostat was working properly, which actually it hasn't been. The temperature in the house fluctuates more than I think it should. He explained that the old type of thermostats can become sluggish over time, so I asked what it would cost if I wanted him to replace it. It would be around $100 or more. I decided against it. Since we had already replaced thermostats for our heater by ourselves, and we may look into purchasing and replacing the A/C thermostat as well now. Dale is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was very nice to deal with.

We got a call that the service man could come a little early if we wanted him to, and we agreed that was OK. He was friendly and professional. He also told us that we were using the wrong type of furnace filter and told us which one to replace it with. He also gave us a tip on how to keep the upstairs cooler.

They did a very good job. I'm happy with the service. It went well. I had a pleasant experience. The guy was knowledgeable and he explained things to me. He came out right away and was on time.

When I called to setup appointment they were very professional. They worked with me and my schedule. When the tech arrived he was very knowledgeable and again professional and friendly. I have an older furnace and he knew everything about it, including the year it was made. He said it was one of the best and still in good condition. He was honest in stating that some parts were getting older but nothing major. He did not try to get me to consider a new furnace, which was why I cancelled the previous company I used. I signed a yearly contract with burkholders . I would highly recommend them.

Jim arrived on time and did a great job. He went over everything that he did to my furnace and AC unit, checked out my thermostat, showed me how to change the filter on my humidifier unit (which was nice, since I didn't get an owner's manual when I bought my house), and went over all the different service plans that Burkholder's offers. Overall, the job took about 2 hours. I plan on using Burkholder's again, since I had such a good experience.

Very good in a prompt service call to repair my furnace just as the temp dropped and many others were having heating issues. Many other service providers quoted weeks to get to my house, but Burkholder's got me on the list and made the repair in days. Many thanks! The only issue that I had was the Tech making the service call did not give me a call to discuss what was found prior to making the repair. The Tech called me after the repair and told me the total and asked for a credit card number, so there was no choice offered in what was going to be done. I would have chosen the repair anyway given the situation, but I assumed a standard policy to discuss expense prior to doing the work.

Rich was on time, friendly and professional. He was efficient and a pleasure. Will definitely use this company again. No negative comments to be made. Was very pleased with the services provided.

OK overall, a good learning experience. I may never know if the capacitor really needed to be replaced however.

Lande came to give us an estimate for a gas furnace and hot water heater. The salesman was here a very long time, explained everything very well. However, we NEVER received the estimate. He promised it would be emailed. I waited a week and called. I was told he was still working on it, it was at and quot;top of his pileand quot; to get it out. Another week went by. Called once more because I really liked the salesman. Was told it would go out and quot;right awayand quot;. We never received it and went with another company.

The job was incredible difficult to do. Getting the old furnace out and matching the old pipes to the new ones,etc. We were very happy with the way it was done and the pleasant technicians that worked in our house. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

I liked everything about there service. When I ask for an appointment, they are very courteous and punctual. They are also thorough.

Had no heat since the night before. I called Burkholder the next morning, and they set me up for an appointment that afternoon. They called a bit later and said they could arrive sooner so I said ok. Marc immediately found the problem, repaired it, and then gave the rest of the system a thorough check up.

Very professional, on time, explained everything before starting the job. No surprises, high quality. Work done right the first time. No need for a call back.

Fair, but not overly pleased.

We used Burkholder's through an Angie's List "Big Deal", and we were very pleased with the service for the price we paid. We purchased an "inspection and tune up" and the technician performed every listed service that the Big Deal came with. He even spent some time after the service to discuss the HVAC system with me and answer my questions. Great experience!

Natural gas unit performs extremely well. When a condensation leak developed around a seal, supervising technician (not an underling) returned and did the minor repair himself.

All went great! The system was blown out and air filter replaced. The price was good and the service very complete. We will call them again in the later spring when we need it done again.

Although I had bought a certificate for furnace tune-up, before I could use it, my furnace died. I called Burkholder and they agreed to apply that to the initial visit fee. The technician showed up at the appointed time, traced the problem to a capacitor and replaced the part. Their fees are certainly higher than comparable companies, but they did a good job. Good, responsive company, including the owner, who was able to resolve the issues to my satisfaction. Will use them again for tune-up of the AC next year.

Because I had not used them in so long I was told that it would be months before they could get out to take a look at my issue. Also, this could be expedited if I would sign a contract for service with them. The receptionist told me that they were "very busy" and could not fit me in for 6-8 weeks. WOW! I declined the service contract that would have somehow enabled them to be out within a week and found an excellent and responsive company that appreciated my business. They called me back in September to ask if I still wanted to keep the appointment we made in June!? I'm speechless...

I called Burkholder's based on the recommendations from clients on Angie's List. I concur with the good reviews the company recieved. The service technician was prompt, professional and experienced. The office staff was also very accommodating when I made the appointment. I recommend Burkholder's Heating & air conditioning.

Dan & Kevin literally just left my house after a 2 day job. Really happy with the experience. I called Burkholders over the summer when I started planning 2 projects in my home. A home office in the basement and a new playroom in what was previously "dead space" above our garage. I'd never heard of ductless systems before I started speaking with HVAC companies about these projects, but the more research I did the more they seemed to be the solution I needed. Unfortunately, most of the quotes I got were pretty pricey. Burkholders came in with the best price by a mile. Fast forward to the install. Dan & Kevin were friendly and professional. They introduced themselves upon arrival. (Pet peeve of mine--when service people come into my home and don't bother to introduce themself.) They confirmed the positioning of all the units before installing them. They were tidy during the whole thing and made sure I understood how to use & maintain all the equipment before they left. Great job.
