Everything looks great and they responded in a timely fashion and kept communication open. Only complaint is our estimate ended up being off by almost $1000. I wish a more thorough site visit before the roof was ripped off could have prevented this unexpected extra bit. But other than that, very happy with the job

On Joyland' Roofing's's website and on their GAF site, they offer a Free Estimate and or Inspection. Then they told me it was free ONLY if I desired a TOTAL ROOF REPLACEMENT! Well not knowing if I needed repair or replacement, out of pocket or warranty or insurance claim, I need them to determine. They would not come out for lees than $250.00!! I found them misleading, unreasonable, unwilling to look first and offer option without being paid to do so. Free? NO! Rude when challenged to look first fee free!

They said they would be here at 7am and they were here at 6:45am. Crew of 9 started right away with no wasted motion. I've never seen anything like it. The guys worked their buts off. Ripped off old roof, replaced 7 sheets of roof sheathing that were bad, replaced my 6 skylights, installed 35 square of shingles and flashed with copper flashing. It was expected to rain that night so they worked until after 8pm - completed the entire job in one day! All while covering our walkways and flower beds with plywood and canvas. It was incredible to watch. They were like ants - each worker knowing exactly what his role was and performing it quickly and expertly. I've been selling building materials for 40 years, I've been around jobsites my whole life and I've never seen anything like it. We've had some hard rains and the roof performs and looks fantastic. And no more leaks around the skylights. Oh, and the communication was first rate too! Thanks Joyland Roofing, I've been crowing about the job you performed to everyone I know. Steve F.

The work was done professionally and we were pleased with the quality. The chimney leak has been repaired and we can now relax when we have a heavy storm.

Because of my roof leaking the schedule date was moved up 2 weeks. The repair man called ahead to let me know he was coming and when to expect him. Explained what he had to do and what he was finding as he was making the repairs. Very pleasant and professional service. i will be using them to replace my roof in several years.

All of the communications from scheduling to the day of service with Joyland Roofing was professional, courteous and friendly. They called ahead on the day of service gave an approximate arrival time and called back afterwards to give a detailed explanation of the condition of the gutters and action taken (I was not present). Excellent work, price and customer service! Would defiantly use again.

While we did end up using another company for the work, we need a quote in a SUPER short time frame and needed the work done nearly as quickly. I wanted to note for all people that Joyland sent out a very professional estimator. Ed was pleasant and thorough and made sure I understood all the items of the quote, which they did immediately. Knowing this is their busiest time of year, I truly appreciated the efforts they went through to get me what I needed and to make a really well informed opinion! I would definitely recommend reaching out to them to discuss any roofing needs you have.

Climbed up on roof and fixed the leak

I selected Joyland Roofing based on the feedback I found on Angie's List. A call to the office set things into motion. Claire was very helpful scheduling the appointment for John Esch to come out to provide an estimate. John showed up a few days later as scheduled and we went through all my issues with the roof. He suggested adding a ridge vent to help with negative air pressure in the home affecting my gas boiler. He also suggested the tin/aluminum strips to stop the mold growth - our house is in deep shade for most of the day. There were so many things he suggested that will help me maintain the roof as I am getting up in years and find climbing ladders more problematic. The crew arrived and were most professional and friendly. The use of their motorized mule dumpster helped keep my yard clean which is very important since we have a great deal of landscaping up close to the house. The crew came every day until the job was complete. The folks at Joyland are not only great craftsmen but they are proud of their work and want to please. And we are very pleased.

Took a long time almost three weeks for them to come out, pre-paid through Angie's list if I didn't do this would have gotten someone else.

The replacement was done on schedule and looks great. It has rained a couple of times since the roof was replaced and all is good. The old roof was replaced and the new installed. The team picked up their trash at the end of each of the 3 days.

I called Joyland because I had a small leak in my roof and my back gutters were clogged. Steve did a great job. Not only did he patch my roof, but he checked the entire roof for nail holes, etc. and patched them too. While he was on the roof, he also managed to unclog my back gutters which have been overflowing lately. Very courteous and efficient and overall nice guys. Would use them again in a heartbeat.
