Description of Work: Joyland Roofing did a fantastic job of replacing our lower roof with a standing seam roof. The workmen were polite and professional, and the company owner went out of his way to fulfill all of our needs and concerns. I highly recommend Joyland Roofing.

Description of Work: Replaced roof, gutters and downspouts.

Description of Work: there were three types of roofs on the townhome.One sharp angled with dormers, one flat rubber roof and a less slope back roof. They took all the prior roofs off and cleared up all debris. The prior owners had installed fans in the bathrooms but they were vented to the attic. They ran the vents to the outside, installed a new attic fan, fixed the railing on the flat roof, installed siding on the dormers in the front and along the side of the flat roof with high quality materials. They cleared up some issues that occurred and persevered and were prompt, friendly and professional. |They were not the cheapest roofer, but we are very pleased.

Description of Work: We had hail damage to our roof from the previous summer storm and I reviewed many roofers in the area for our roof. I ended up choosing Joyland because I felt they were the most professional, no hassle, reasonable estimate. The roofers were extremely careful not to damage any exterior plants and were extremely thorough. Ed Landis was great to work with. If I had any other exterior needs such as siding, I would definitely use Joyland again.

Description of Work: They cleaned out my gutters and inspected the roof. |I guess it went well. I can't see into the gutters so I don't know how well they were cleaned out. |They reattached a couple of loose shingles and took a couple pictures of the other issue they found with my roof to show me which was helpful since they issues were not visible from the ground.

Description of Work: Joyland Roofing tore off 100 years of roofing from a bay window on the second floor of a 3 story house, including 2-3 patches and the original metal. They did a wonderful job, all the while keeping the classic facade of the house undamaged or covered, as requested. |HIRE THEM!!!

Description of Work: Cleaned gutters

Description of Work: Replaced roof (steep with multiple gables and angles requiring roof scaffolding), and replaced two roof vent fans and one skylight. It went very well. The start was slightly delayed as a result of weather and our travel plans but once they began, the work went smoothly. They made suggestions for venting that actually saved money over replacing the prior system. They cleaned up every day and I had no problems with residual residue from the work (nails in shrubs, pieces of old shingles, etc.). They were very professional. The work included an upgrade in the underlay of the shingles and upgraded automatic vent fans that work on both temperature and humidity. We were very pleased with the work, their patience in explaining and working through options, and their overall professionalism. There was no hard sell at any time, just information for our consideration and our decision. We had four bids that ranged from one that was around $1,100 lower to two higher with the highest almost an additional $5,000. We wanted to schedule them the fall of 2014 but waited too long and they were booked so we postponed till spring 2015. They do get booked quickly and don't seem to squeeze in jobs at the expense of quality. The job took about 5 days but they asked if we minded if they took the bulk of one day to deal with an emergency call that they received, which we did not. Otherwise it would have been about 4 days to complete. The price included a 30% down payment when materials were ordered and reflects an overall 5% discount for paying the remainder by check at the conclusion of the job.

Description of Work: Replaced entire roof with Timberline HD Architectural shingles, GAF underlayment, ridge vents, gutters and downspouts on the house, garage and shed. The workers are very polite and respectful although there was some communication issues between the job foreman and his workers. I'm still finding nails that the magnetic sweep didn't pickup. |The guys even did some extra things to help me with my shutters because I was disabled at the time. |Do all your price negotiations before you pay your deposit because after that it gets difficult. Other than a few minor things, I was pleased...and I'm a fussy person.

Description of Work: Joyland replaced a wind damaged roof vent during the cold winter. Joyland arrived on time, assessed the old vent, recommended the replacement and performed the stated work. The price was reasonable.

Description of Work: I had my home's gutters cleaned, a tough job because a portion of the roof is 3 floors up. They showed up on time, did a good job, finished and cleaned up quickly. Without asking, they even replaced some missing brackets.

Description of Work: A short section of rain gutter was re-sloped. Rain gutters were inspected and cleaned as needed.

Description of Work: replaced gutters and downspouts with new seamless gutters. Also, replaced old T 111 siding on barn that was rotted behind old gutter, prior to installing new gutter. Also, was kind enough to trim a few small tree branches overhanging the garage roof, above and beyond the call of duty and greatly appreciated. On another call, patched front porch roof that was leaking at the corner by the internal downspout, since we did not want to replace the entire porch roof at this time. The patch has been holding for the last 3 years.

Description of Work: All went well with one exception. Their ad in Angie's brochure offered a 4% discount to Angie's members. Their proposal offered a 5% discount to PIF in 10 days- This offer is made to all customers. They did not provide or allow any discount for Angie's membership.

Description of Work: New roof. They were punctual every day, dedicated to their work. Did an excellent job from start to finish. All discarded roofing was cleaned up with a special removal machine. |I would recommend this business in a heartbeat.
