Good work. Timely. Friendly.

I invited Joyland to bid on the replacement of my deck roof. There were others who bid, but Joyland (which I chose from Angie's List) is absolutely top drawer. Steve came out, he brought a ladder, went up on the roof, took pictures, shared the results with me and identified an additional problem. We sat and talked about the work he was going to do and he brought samples of the materials he planned to use. He told me that for the pitch of the roof I had, the shingles which were currently there were the wrong product to use. He told me that a rubber roof was appropriate for this job. Then he quoted a price that underbid his competition by $1300. I have every confidence that he will do excellent work. He has that ethic of giving just a little more than you expect. It is old-fashioned, I know, but a delight to find. I can hardly wait until spring when this job will be completed. Will report back afterward it to let you know how it went.

They called back, came on time. The problem was that they were twice as expensive as the next highest quote. This was not a big job, and I was shocked at the price.

They were wonderful. They were very timely and prompt. They repaired everything in one day. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Everything went well. They worked well with the stucco and restoration people. They researched the project and we have been very pleased with him.

I was nervous because the roof is 20 years old, and I was concerned they would say it had to be replaced. The rep from Joyland arrived exactly when he said he would, and found the problem within 15 minutes. He fixed it immediately--about another 15 minutes, and explained it was really a fluke problem. He then patiently answered all my questions about our roof, and recommended someone to clean our gutters and install new guards, althought this was not related to the problem he repaired. The charge was under $100, and as I danced around and wrote the check, he commented that good referrals were their best advertising, so I said I would be delighted to help! I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them. I can't actually comment on the quality of their work, as I don't know for sure yet if the leak has stopped--but I certainly expect everything to be fine.

We noticed water leaking around oil burner exhaust pipe during particularly heavy rains in early September 2011. We found this company on Angie's List and called them. He came in 4 days after the call. After inspecting the roof, including the flashings around the chimney, he concluded that rain water had probably trickled down chimney pipe due to wind and the direction that rain was falling. He found some loose tiles and repaired them. He found places where the roof had been perforated from the inside with nails but they were well covered with tiles. He estimated the roof''s remaining lifetime, oriented me as to what to look for in a failing roof and answered all my questions on latest roofing technology. He gave me a rough estimate on the cost of installing a new roof and, after taking the roof measurements, promised to deliver an exact estimate via email.

Joyland was exceptional! Ed Landis, in particular, was a pleasure to work with. He came to give us an estimate and took his time to do a detailed drawing of our house. This helped him to provide a more accurate estimate. Ed fully explained what the estimate included and how the job would be done. He answered all our questions and even after he left he responded immediately to our phone calls for additional information. All the workers on the job were clean cut, courteous, and very professional. The job was completed in one day which surprised us. We highly recommend Joyland!

The young man who responded was very nice and straight up (didn't try to con me). Told me where he saw some leaking and fixed a couple of small possibles. There, done and gone within the hour. They even had a discount on Angie's website.

The first two tries to re-shingle my roof were aborted due to the weather. They arrived on the third day at 07:30 and they were finished at 11:30. They did a great job and would definitly use them again.

I put in a report before that this company never got back to me. Well they called when they got my report. They said it was a fax machine error and I will accept that. They came out right away to give me my Quote and the man was very courtious and professional. I don't know if I will use them, I'am still getting quotes.

NEver got back to me. I guess they have enough business.

They were always here on time. Their price was good. They didn't tell us that they were leaving for the day. With the exception of that we were pleased with their service. We would most definitely use them again.

They were one of the few people I contacted. They were here immediately. They were one of the few companies that offered the show-up. I called several and I can’t remember who I called. They were out here, did the repair and sent me the bill. I send them a check and that was the end of it. The price was about average of what I was expecting to pay. It wasn’t much to come out here, fix the ladder and go up to the roof and get it fixed. I was thinking about having my roof replaced, and I might consider him to do my roof. The responsiveness was pretty quick, as I was concerned about the weather. He said he was going to be there and he was there. I didn’t always see him that much except for the one time.

Even though he was the cheapest i when with another roofer cause of the trust factor.

I spent $4000 on that service. It was a night and day experience for me. I went up there and it looked awesome and they had it all done in a day. The guy came out, looked at my roof, gave me, and gave me a pamphlet. They use this special platform that goes up on hydraulics, so that they don’t mess up the yard as much. The only thing was the time because of when I decided to do it and it was not necessarily their fault. I was getting other estimates and was stuck behind, but the job was awesome. The job was awesome, the work looks great, and they did everything that I wanted. They kept it right within the quote and ended up putting $150 extra for some broken boards, which I had no problem with. They had it all done in a day and I had very little clean up to do. They were professional and took care of everything. They got here at 7.30 in the morning and were gone by 5 o’clock in the evening and had ripped apart several layers of my old roof, ripped out my old gutter and put beautiful new gutters and put the gutter runner all the way two floors down to the basement level. It was great and it was great looking shape. It was done well and done quickly and I had no problems. They did well.

Responded quickly to request for an estimate and returned within the same week to perform the work. Had called another company that heavily advertises, but by the time they called back 3 weeks later to just give an estimate, Joyland had already completed the work. The Joyland roofers were polite and professional and would highly recommend them.

This was my first interaction with this company. My experience with them was perfect. They were very responsive. They were a very good company. I highly recommend them. They left no mess that I know of, and the roof appears to be fixed.

I am using them and they are finishing up now. The estimate they gave me was $3700. They were professional and were on time. They also gave me an estimate in the rain. They also tried to patch the leaks on the roof without doing the expensive replacement, but when it was unsuccessful, I had him move forward.

Joyland Roofing is one of the most honest Professional company I have come across, They came and performed a inspection to my roof and gave me a very reasonable quote, They did the job within the time schedule in a very professional manner. i will definitely recommend and will do business with Joyland roofing again. i got 3 quots the first $21,000 dollars ( did not have a good feeling about this ) and tryed to get me to say yes i said good by.next one appox 10,000 dollars it was ok . joyland 7300.dollar and gave me more than the one for 10K. vary happy and the work is excellent.

They did a very good job. They did the work very quickly. I would highly recommend them and we would use them again in the future. They are very easy and pleasant to work with.
