Description of Work: We had them do a complete re-roof. We were really happy with their work and their prices were certainly competitive!

Description of Work: On our first contact they inspected a leak around our skylight. Second contact, they did a roof for my sister-in-law with which she was most pleased. Third contact, they inspected flashing around our chimney and determined that leakage was not caused by the roof or flashing - no charge.

Description of Work: Our barn had rotting wood behind the gutters. They replaced the wood for us and installed the new gutter and downspout, and its far better than the prior installation and should last for years to come. Looks great. They also fixed another downspout that they said was not necessary to replace, and replaced another that was necessary to replace on the house. BTW, they also fixed the barn gutter so water won't get behind the gutter and rot the wood again. Many thanks for a job well done.

Description of Work: I had not rated this because I did not feel as though it would be right. The job was to check the roof and clean the gutters. That was done with no problems and I have no problem with it. I was looking at roofs because I knew I was within 5 years of needing it. I was curious to see what a roofer said. I got a price which I could have got for free - this was my choice. I did not go with them. I ended up using an Amish family to do the roof. I hope I answered all questions. I have nothing against this company and would have them again.

Description of Work: Replaced existing roof over main house, garage, addition, and front porch. Very prompt, professional service. Did exactly what was expected. Cleaned up all debris. We were very pleased with the service and the roof looks great.

Description of Work: Joyland did a really god job. Did roof replacement plus front gutter and fixed fascia plus vented the soffit. Excellent clean-up when finished.

Description of Work: We called twice to set up an appointment to get a quote. We left messages and they never called us back.

Description of Work: The scope of service was supposed to be an inspection of the roof, an associated report, and to clean the gutters. Here are our observations on the work performed and comments: 1. They did not call to schedule a time. They just showed up. 2. They were on site less than 10 minutes. 3. They did not clean the gutters. 4. We never received a report on the roof condition.

Description of Work: The company contacted me almost immediately and said a sales rep would contact me soon. Marlin Stoltzfus made an appointment for the following week and showed up on time. He is personable, kind and very knowledgable. I got an estimate the following work that was reasonable and we scheduled the work. They worked around a travel schedule for us and Marlin did the installation work himself. Everything was done in a timely and professional way.

Description of Work: Joyland Roofing did an inspection/gutter cleaning of my roof and discovered a problem that has the potential to become an extremely expensive replacement. So, the company will be making the necessary repairs very near in the future. I can't rate the quality yet, because the repairs have not been done. Had I not taken advantage of the inspection, through being a member of Angie's List, i would have been faced with property damage later on down the line. THANK YOU ANGIE!

Description of Work: Don't think it's fair to say they performed the services....I had shingles with mold on them, even had replacement shingles for the guy to put on and said it wasn't part of the contract that I bought....BUT the one that I had missing which is why I made this contract in the first place, he said he could put that on....he was big on telling me the roof would be inspected by him...well yippy but I'm not sure what else he did for the $99. He cleaned out the gutters but the main issue was the shingles and I guess if I had known that they wouldn't do 3 shingle replacments, yes 3, that I was supplying, well I wouldn't have bought this deal...By the way, he was 30 minutes late and no phone call telling me he was running behind...Needed a trash bag to collect the stuff from the gutter too...don't ya think he should have brought a bucket or bags or something with him since that's what he was supposed to be doing was cleaning the gutters too???? Oh, and the best part is after purchasing the coupon on angies list, I called and left a message for them to call me back with an appt. time and date, and even chased it with an email with my home details....1 week went by, I called back, they didn't have a record of me purchasing the contract from Angies list, so I emailed them the one that Angies list sent me...was told I'd get a call right back with an appt time...DAYS go by and I email AGAIN after leaving a message on their machine asking what's up, and the gen. mgr. emails me back saying they had a big demand with this $99 deal and are very busy but if I don't hear from the service guy by close of business to contact him directly...well 5 p.m. after playing phone tag and texting the service guy, at 5:30 p.m. I had an appt. and they didn't fit my schedule but after all the work trying to get the appt. I took the first thing I could get and instead of showing up at 7 a.m. (which is REALLY early for a service call in my eyes) he came at 7:30 a.m. UGHHHH Now, after only 45 minutes of being here and "inspecting" the roof and cleaning gutters, he informs me on his departure that it'll be $100 additional charge because of having a sloped roof! NOT IN THE FINE PRINT I might add....Wanted me to pay him but he couldn't write a bill or give me a receipt if I gave him a check so I said mail it to me or email it to me...Also informed me that we need a new gutter and of course their company could handle that...NO THANKS....big mistake buying this coupon....we could have cleaned the gutters ourselves if I knew it was gonna cost another $100 because of having a sloped roof. Give me a break!!!

Description of Work: The young man who came in was very professional and gave me a reasonable quote and finished the work the same day. (Changed the vent boots ). He finished the work on the same day.

Description of Work: Called twice to request a quote for a roof replacement. I was told that some of their staff were out on vacation and they'd get back to me. I called back a week later and got the same story. Nobody called back. Went to another roofer.

Description of Work: Joyland removed my existing roof and disposed of everything. They did an excellent job of installing a new roof, on time, on budget. They were very professional and I would recomend their services to anyone.

Description of Work: They gave us an estimate for roofing. He was very nice and competent but we decided to go with somebody else due to pricing. He showed up when he said he would.

Description of Work: I had a few slates come loose in a storm. Called Joyland; they came within a couple of days. I did not ask for an estimate because it was a small job. They took care of it immediately, and billed me a fair price. While they were fixing the slates, I asked if they would remove an old TV antenna on the chimney which had not been used in decades, which they did gratis. Will definitely consider using them again when needed.
