They were excellent, their service was great. Two years later I have had no issues with the unit.

We have used Mitchell Plumbing. He is just a local company. They did a good job. Yes, they were on time and cleaned up nice.

They come they day that they are suppose to, do a good job, up from about their prices. I have been using them every year for routine maintenance check. They did a good job of explaining to my why the furnace was not working. They even explained how to interpret the error codes. They are very helpful. They guy who repaired the unit this spring was very helpful and he took the time to explain the issues that needed to be fixed.

I called them to replace our hot water heater. I provided the measurements over the phone, however, I used close approximations since I was not at the location at time of call. Joe, the service technician, showed up in a timely manner with a hot water heater that I thought would fit. However, my measurements were not accurate and the heater didn't fit. As a result, they did not have a heater to fit my installation site and I had to use another company. He was here for an hour and did not charge for their time.

I have used them several times. They understand the problem better than other plumbers -and for a great price. They are very responsive, clean up after themselves, and always analyze the problem correctly!

Installed water heater I purchased from Home Depot. Did good job. Arrived on time. Completed quickly. Actually charged me less than what Home Depot had quoted to me over phone.

I had earlier used another company called Sullivan through an Angies List special discount. They wanted over $700 and that was after I got the discount. So I didn't go with that and I called Mitchell. They were hundreds of dollars cheaper for the same thing and they did a very good job. They were fine and I had no problems with the installation.

Would not rely on service when even the initial contacts and response requests were ignored.

He is very thorough, very pleasant, and very prompt. The service was very competent. He was very knowledgeable. He shared information with us about like what to expect and things like that.

Our heat recently went out at the worst possible time. Temperatures were freezing and it's Friday night. I called Mitchell and they sent a technician over at an overtime rate of $149.00. The technician diagnosed the problem as a bad heat strip that would require replacement. He said that the Service Manager would call us Saturday morning to set up a time to make the necessary repairs. By Saturday afternoon, I called them and they said that they would be at the house by 8:30 or 9:00am on Monday morning. At 11:00am on Monday, I called to see why they didn't show up and the service manager stated and quot;can you go up in the attic, take off the cover of the system and read the part number to me?and quot; I told him that I did not know where the heat strip was located. He called back several hours later and said that the part would be $450 plus labor and that it could not be replaced for 5 more days. (Remember, the temperatures were below freezing.) I told him to wait until I looked for a second opinion. This time, I got on Angies List and I found and award winning company. I called the company that had the best Angies list rating for heating and cooling, and they arrived at the house Monday afternoon and repaired the heat in 10 minutes. It was a bad switch, NOT heat strips. The cost of the part was $50. The total bill was $159. I called Mitchell back and left a message for the service manager to call me back to discuss the issue. He did not call me back. This was a terrible experience and I will never use this company again.

The plumber was very neat in doing the work and the heating tech that serviced the furnace was very thorough I would use them again in the future.

I used a coupon and they had the best price. They were quick, efficient and did a very nice job.

We would not recommend them. We told them what the problem was with the furnace over the phone and they came out and spent 10 minutes and told our son just exactly what we had already told him on the phone. He said he would be back on Monday which was 5 days later, with the part. He charged $104 and was going to charge another $590 to put the part in. We ended up buying the part for $230 and putting it in ourselves. He was going to rip us off because we were not from down there. We thought they were trying to take advantage of us. The other guy here got the part to us in 24 hours. Our kids went without heat for a week because of them. We would not use them again.

They have been to our house several times before, so we called them back for service. They had helped us on a couple of other issues and since we are new to the area we trusted them; that's why we will continue to use them.

This is the second time I used Mitchell and I am very pleased with them. The technician was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable about HVAC. He was able to diagnose the problem and identify the solution very quickly. He was also able to put a temporary fix in place until the parts needed to fix the issue permanently could be ordered. This is especially important because we have a baby in the house. I also greatly appreciated that he spent time explaining the issue and the solution to an adjuster from my home warranty company so that I could lodge a claim against my policy. I would say that overall, the service was excellent, the price was reasonable, and most importantly, I feel the Mitchell technicians have a lot of integrity, which is hard to come by these days. I recommend Mitchell to anyone for their HVAC and plumbing work.

They did a good job. They were professional and quick. It was a little more expensive than I would have liked. They were contracted through a local home improvement company.

They arrived on time, we're very professional. They spent 3 hours to unclog the toilet which they had to remove, snake and replace. The price for parts was about $20 and the price for labor was $492.00.

They took from 1.45pm to 5 pm. The quality was ok. They arrived on time. The only problem I had with them is the price which I payed. However I would never use them again.

They did a good job and I was happy with them. They are not good as they used to be in terms of cleanness now. However, I was satisfied with their services before. They were very reasonable and neat before. They used be very neat with the pipes and electrical work. They did a nice job in terms of drilling the wall to join the unit to the furnace. They were neither cheap nor expensive at that time.

Electric motor that exhausts combustion gases to flue had been occasionally noisy for a couple of years. The Contractor and I decided previously to let it go since it wouldn't cause a problem removing the combustion gases. And the noise from the bearings was only occasional and not that annoying. The motor was adequately performing its function and didn't need to be replaced. However, the sealed bearings (which can't be lubricated) were beginning to wear out more and more which caused louder and more frequent annoying noisy conditions. The motor started to slow and not function properly all the time. It was time to replace the motor to prevent a future failure in the middle of the night and to make sure that the flue gas was removed from the house and sent outside where it belonged. The technician offered to replace the motor later the same day but the timing didn't work out for me. The technician came first thing the next day and replaced the motor in about 30 minutes or less. The replacement motor is functioning properly.

No problems - we've worked with this company for years, they know where our furnaces are and go right to work. When finished, the technician recommended that we get carbon monoxide detectors as these furnaces are aging.

My job was just a simple installation of a new bathroom faucet. I got the name of Mitchell Plumbing at the place where I purchased the faucet. They had no information on how good Mitchell's service was - just that they did work in my area. I gave them a call and they said they did not charge for travel. The cost would be $69 for the first half hour and then $16 for each fifteen-minute increment after that. I figured it would be $85 at the most. The man they sent out to do the job turned it into a one hour job, included some personal business (two cell phone calls), and wound up giving me a bill for two full hours ($165). After he had left I noticed that he had not used the new set of supply hoses I had given him. The old ones were left in place.

I called them the day the problem was diagnosed. Art came out and estimated the work. He said the estimate was based on two men and a full day. The work was scheduled for the following week. Communication with the company was excellent, Art is very knowledgeable. It took them 2.5 hours to replace the trap and clean up. I asked if there would be a reduction on the estimate since it was based on a full day. They said no, they were just fast. I am happy with the work, and it seems to be well done. I am not happy with the final price, since it was based on an estimate of time that was shorter than expected.
