Throughout the process we have been struck by the craftsmanship, attention to detail, excellent level of communication and clear desire to make us happy (“we just want to see you smile”) that we have experienced. The design process was easy – our designer asked pertinent questions that helped us hone our visions and thoughts into reality. We felt seen and heard, in terms of defining our wants, needs, finances, etc. Demolition was extremely fast, and the teams made sure to keep the house as clean as possible throughout the entire process. I told him I was skeptical giving him $4k and then have him come back with contract stating it would cost a big percent more. He assured me “he is not that kind of guy”. Then after the design and a smaller scope he wanted to charge us 30% more. Took our money and we now have to start over with a new contractor."
