Description of Work: build a deck

Description of Work: Provider came out on schedule to take a look at a project that included tearing down an existing deck and replacing with a smaller one. All started off well. We were debating between 2 different types of jobs. One involving adding concrete and then building a new deck and the other was just building the new deck. Our first estimate (from another company) involved adding concrete to an existing concrete slab and then building the deck. The second estimate from Sure-Fix was to just replace the deck without adding more concrete. The estimate from Sure-Fix was 50% MORE for less work than the first estimate. Then we started talking about that we would get all the permits and he would not need to worry about getting them. He then started to tell us not to worry about the permits and that "IF I GOT THE PERMITS, HE WOULD NOT WANT THE JOB." He said that the permits would not make the job profitable for him because of the extra time and work involved to satisfy the inspection person. Also, only uses Trex decking. Would not install anything other than Trex.

Description of Work: I contracted Henry to remodel my kitchen. The price was fair and he worked with me to keep it in my budget while at the same time helping me make smart choices regarding quality materials. The work done was excellent and I truly could not be happier. I would certainly use this company again and recommend them to family or friends.

Description of Work: Mr Rouhana arrived at 821 Carlton Ave, Bethlehem, Pa as scheduled. He gave an estimate for the scope of the work but my time was unavailable. He was available then but I was not. He estimated the total cost to be over $13,000. The house is still under construction so having the time available to get the work done, having deposited $3,040.00 and his estimates were much greater than just the Big Deal, it does not make sense to leave money sitting there without putting it to work.

Description of Work: They did interior painting, installed a backsplash tile, and some plumbing work.

Description of Work: Sure-Fix Remodeling was very professional when the owner came to give us an estimate!! He went through the whole process with my husband and I, and gave us very important information regarding the bathroom remodel!! Even though we did not go through with the remodel, I would have chosen him to do the work!! We decided to sell our home, instead, due to other circumstances!! He spent at least an hour with us, and I was very impressed with him!!

Description of Work: Henry repaired a decaying deck by replacing the surface areas with Trex-like materials and adding supports to weakened areas. The quality and workmanship was excellent. Henry was very responsive and punctual. He was able to diagnose and explain what needed to be done in an understandable manner. He'll be the first contact I make for future work.

Description of Work: Built a handicap ramp and platform off the front porch of an older home. They dug out shrubs, moved and replanted them. No one else offered that. They were careful, worked hard, and were punctual. They showed professionalism and were within a few dollars of the original quote. When they left the work site was completely cleaned up and ready for use. Definitely plan to hire them again for other work.
