Mr. Williams did an excellent job helping with a leak in our roof. Now we know what we did wrong and how to avoid problems in the future. He also did a great job with our bathroom fan installation. The fan I bought was a little too big, but that was no problem as he was able to adjust the original hole in the ceiling to accommodate it. His professionalism and timelines was appreciated. He was very patient and kind.

Mr. Buskirk arrived right on time, made sure we agreed to the details of the job, and got to work. He clearly communicated what he was doing and asked before leaving to get some lumber. The shutters look amazing and the door is beautiful. I wish the hourly rate was a little lower but I appreciate the quality work that he did. Really nice guy and a hard worker. We will use Mr Handyman again for jobs that are too difficult for us to do ourselves. Thank you!

Overall the work done was fine. Their price per hour is high and the job took significantly longer than expected. I got the impression that the work was done at a pace to maximize the overall cost. What was really frustrating is that they did not have basic materials in their truck. Fortunately, I had a local hardware store that I ran out to on multiple times to keep them working, otherwise, it would have cost 3 times as much! Only use them in case of emergency or to do really small jobs.

Beware, this company Handyman of Allentown should not be used under any circumstances. Totally unprofessional and job never completed and asked for money to be paid everyday without finishing the work. May have to take this company to court in the future. The work that was done was done very poorly and we had to hire new people to repair the damage to the walls. Drywall not cut to proper size leaving large gaps and not lined up to the support beams behind the seams.And every day brought in different crew into my home. The whole job got worse by the day till my husband told them not to come back and we changed the locks.

Thank you for providing your input on Angie's List. We have reviewed your statements and have found that it is inconsistent. My team invested over 100 hours installing over 50 sheets of drywall. You inspected the work and was satisfied with Mr Handyman's progress and quality as a result wrote a check for $3,000.00. You then told my master tech that the job needed to be inspected by the city. At this point we were obligated to see the permit before moving forward. All permits should be posted in the building. We told you we could not complete the job until we see the permit. We were also made aware that a plumbing and electrical permit was not pulled. As a result, if they failed inspection some of our drywall would have to be removed and replaced after corrections have been made. At that point we told you we could not complete the work until you provided a permit instead you put a stop payment on the $3,000 check. We called you on 12/6/18 and said we would complete the job once a permit was pulled. We also asked you to pay the $3,000 which is owed. We called the city on 12/7/18 and they told us that a permit for the sheetrock has still not been pulled. If you want to see the truth in what anyone offers, it would be up to the public to determine if what they get is what was promised. This is the purpose of Angie's List. Up to this point in time, Mr Handyman has hundreds of satisfied customers that we pride ourselves in consistently delivering an "exceptional customer experience."

We hired Mr. Handyman and John was the contractor that they provided us with. John was extremely professional, neat, courteous, and most importantly very knowledgeable and capable. As the home was not yet occupied, John kept us up to date with the progress on a daily basis and made helpful recommendations throughout the process. We felt very comfortable with John and provided him a key to the house to come and go as needed. John went above and beyond the scope of the project by cleaning our debris from the garage and placing it in the dumpster. We highly recommend this company and John in particular.
