Description of Work: I was given an estimate for work in both the front and back yard. I asked to get an estimate for the front only. He said he would given me an estimate but I never heard back from him. My interpretation is that the company is only interested in high paying jobs and not smaller jobs.

Description of Work: The people from Atlantic Ridge did come out as requested on the date agreed upon. They were to perform a design for our area. We discussed what we wanted and the challenge of the terrain and water issue. They told me that they were busy and would get back to me. I agreed that I was not in a rush. It has been close to six months with no design or word from them.

Description of Work: Never came to my location to provide service - so asked for refund - and it can only be put towards another Angie's List purchase.

Description of Work: Provider provided design and complete proposal of our landscape. Although they were very thorough, the plans were over populated. When requesting a proposal more in line with my budget keeping some plants and using my labor, I was disappointed with the new price.

Description of Work: Greg was very responsive when I called for a quote on yard work. I explained that I wanted a clean-up. He provided a quote based on satellite images. He came to the house on the 28th of May to see exactly what I wanted done. He told me he would send me a revised quote. I called a week later to see how the quote was coming. He told me he would have the quote done by the end of the week. He has never gotten back to me.

Description of Work: Bought a big deal in January and requested service late April or May. Corresponded with Chris from Atlantic Ridge, sent pictures of my property, and then I did not hear from him. I sent another email asking for a status update and he said he could not provide because he was too overwhelmed with work. I asked for a refund but never received.

Description of Work: I bought a "special deal" for a landscape design proposal at reduced rate. The written proposal, which took over a week to prepare after the initial on site evaluation of my yard, is detailed, well illustrated, attractive, and in keeping with all the parameters I specified. Also, it includes important elements I would not have thought of myself. I have not decided whether or not to go ahead with this in the spring, but I do consider the analysis to have been quite worthwhile, and I expect that, if I go ahead with the project, Atlantic Ridge will do a very professional job. I am not rating the "price" because I do not have knowledge of comparables when it comes to the implementation phase. (The project, if implemented, would cost over $20,000, and includes replacement and enlargement of a patio, correction of a drainage problem, and landscaping elements.)

Description of Work: Chris gave us a great plan for our new flower beds and 6 new trees. They arrived on time each day for the work and did a GREAT JOB,the workers where polite and they worked hard from the time they got here to the time they left,we had no problems. We have had nothing but compliments on how it looks. I would have Atlantic Ridge do any future work that I may need. i would reccomend Atlantic Ridge to all, his work is top notch. My thanks to Atlantic Ridge and to Chris for a job well done

Description of Work: Called and spoke with Greg on June 17th about landscaping services i would like to have done. He went over the scope of what to expect on the day of his arrival.....said they were extremely busy that week and will be out to look at the property on June 23rd. Well that day came and gone and i never heard back from him or the company. The reason i did not call them to ask what happened with the appointment is because i believe customer service is key. It only takes a few minutes to return a call and either reschedule or say you are not going to take the job.

Description of Work: Chris provided me with an excellent and very professional Landscape Design Proposal. I live in a townhome/condo community so Chris' creativity was limited by our Association by-laws. His proposal is really great: it came in a booklet, he also provided a loose copy to send to the Association Board for approval, he provided different options for the plantings and because I told him I knew nothing about plants, he even included pictures of the plants! I am very impressed and will use him next year to do the plantings (I'm having a lot of work done on the inside of my home so need to space out projects) This is a very small job for him, but he took it just as seriously as a big job. I'm very grateful. Thank you Chris!

Description of Work: They provided us with a plan for the yard. Many of the planting they suggested were not appropriate for shade and others were deer food. Knowing the area, we were surprised at this. We asked for a breakdown to do various parts of the yard, but never heard back from them. Obviously they were not that interested in our business.

Description of Work: Put paver deck and shrubs near diving board side of the yard.

Description of Work: They took out all of our old overgrown bushes and landscaped the entire front |Of the house, sides of the house, mailbox and tree I'm the front yard. BEAUTIFUL work! So happy and would definitely recommend them!!

Description of Work: We have a large and severe slope in the front of our home, that we have not been successful in handling ourselves. We knew what we wanted (elegant, yet natural hillside design) and Sean with Atlantic Ridge understood our vision, developing a design that not only addressed long range maintenance issue, but aesthetics as well. We asked for plants that are native to eastern PA and that would offer seasonal color as well. We received that. He also re-purposed many plantings already in the yard that were not designed for their location (ie, shade plants in sun, sun plants in shade) and used them in the design. It was a very large project, completed in one week, with excellent results. His employees were hard-working and respectful. The owner also stopped by the project several times.
