Domenic and his crew did a really good job at a reasonal price.

Because we live further away from the contractor than most of his customers, it took a little longer to complete than we had originally anticipated. He stayed late to try and make up for the lost time traveling. Overall, he did a good job painting the house and we are happy with the results.

Job went well, and completed on time. Domenc does excellent work.

Wonderful price- fantastic work. Clearly dedicated to the profession, Dominick paid attention to every detail of my project. The bathroom ceiling looks better than it ever did. The banister was built and stained to perfectly match the existing banister. Such a great guy- he even wound up fixing a few things that he never charged me for! He will definitely be the only person I call for future projects.

White walls are boring. White walls that are 25-30 feet high are EXTREMELY boring. So we had to do away with the white and paint the walls. Unfortunately, being 5'10 and afraid of heights, I wasn't about to climb a ladder or scaffolding to paint a wall. Add to that the fact we wanted a half-wall installed in our basement to give it more functionality and privacy, we figured it would be best to have a professional come out and complete everything. Domenic came out and the misses proposed what her vision was. After finalizing the price and start date, he showed up on the first day and laid out exactly what the plan was - day by day for the next 5 days and where they would be after each day was completed. Because of his quick and efficient work, the plans changed and what we originally thought would be a full week process was completed in 3 days. As each stage was finished, he checked with us to make sure the work was satisfactory and that there were no issues with what was completed. Before moving onto the next stage, he would check to make sure everything was understood - what we were asking to be completed, what our design plans were, height of paint/woodwork, location of each, etc. And during the task, he didn't hesitate to give us suggestions or alterations to enhance what were having done. Because of that, what we had envisioned turned out a lot better than we could have ever anticipated. And the fact it was done two days ahead of schedule gave us the chance to have everything back to normal and minimize and chaos we may have felt. Domenic has officially become our "go to" guy. With the number of jobs he's already completed for us and the quality of work he does, ANY home improvement job that needs to be done, he will be the first and only person we will call.

The day I called him he came over later that day, gave me and estimate, and told me he could fit me in, about 2 weeks, 11 days later he started, got everything done that first day, and came back and removed the floor and installed the new one, the second day.

All I can say is Excellent, service from beginning to end . I will be calling THE HOME IMPROVER in the near future. They did such a wonderful job it was a good experience from beginning to end.

Domenic did a great job painting the interior of our new home. The walls had many issues from the previous owners. Domenic repaired these areas. The walls look great now!

The project went very well. Domenic and his worker Eric arrived on time, ready to hit the ground running and were very accommodating to any requests that I made. They moved furniture, helped put it all back in place, attended to all of the details which I outlined and were very well organized and efficient in carrying out their duties. The entire project took 3 days, and the painting was well done -- they did a very professional job. I am pleased with the outcome and will definitely use this contractor again for painting as well as other work that I will need done.

I called Dominic for an estimate to complete an unfinished room. The job entails for him and his colleague to dry wall; place flooring, base boards, trim a window, doors, place two doors, make an attic entrance as well as a closet . When we met, he was courteous, attentive and pleasant to talk to. He understood my requirements and he was flexible with my schedule. Both him and his colleague, Eric, were professional and perfectionist in their work. They willing to explain each step of the way while trying to satisfy my curiosity. Overall, their finished work is impeccable and I will recommend them entirely. I already made plans for them to paint the rest of my house.

I had originally planned to paint our bathroom myself; however due to a slow recovery from recent surgery, I wasn't able to make it happen by the time I wanted it done. Because I had used this company in the recent past, with rave results, I called Domenic to see if he could fit my small painting job into his schedule. He did, and it was beautifully done. He was here and gone in no time, and our bathroom is finished. I received a quick response to my request, fabulous service, and amazing quality of work. I would have absolutely no hesitation in contacting him again for other improvement tasks.

Dominick show up on time and did excellent work . My wife & I were very impressed. I plan on hiring them to do more work in the future.

Both jobs were completed very much to our satisfaction. We initially hired Domenic for interior painting, and when we did such a great job, we didn't hesitate to contact him when we were ready for exterior pressure washing and gutter cleaning. He showed up exactly when scheduled (both for the estimates and for the work), performed the work in a timely and professional manner, and was easy to work with. We would not hesitate to contact him again.

I wasn't going to join Angie's list at first because a few people told me that there wasn't many contractors on the list that are in Milford or that wouldn't travel to Milford. So I joined anyway! We needed the exterior painted,deck stained and our front window was broken needed to be fixed. The Home Improver was very reasonable price wise. The Home Improver went the extra mile with the work that was completed at our home. All of my friends and neighbors love how our house looked and the color scheme made our house look like a new one. They are very attentive towards detail. I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

They did the job, and it was awesome. He was prompt, and his quote was accurate. He was quick, and he was in and out in about 20 minutes. He was straight down the line great.

We needed this job done in a short time frame. The Home Improver completed the job ahead of schedule. We were very pleased with the quality of work.

After numerous unsuccessful attempts to hire a contractor in my immediate area, I joined Angie's List and immediately liked what I had read about The Home Improver. I called him and explained that I was located quite a distance away from him and that his round-trip journey would be in excess of three hours. Regardless, he agreed to come to see my home when we both had a lull in our schedule in about two weeks. The day before our appointment he called to confirm, arrived on time, looked over my list, very graciously agreed to handle all of it and, by that evening, sent me a very fair estimate. I immediately agreed and, again, a future date was set for the work to begin...and, again, he called in advance, arrived on time, put in full days and did meticulous, professional work. He even helped me select the colors for the staining when it was apparent that I just couldn't decide and suggested easy, inexpensive solutions for a few items. He brought Eric, an excellent assistant, with him and I feel like I spent five days with friends. In fact, his work was so good that things around it now look like they need a little sprucing up...so I'm starting on a new list. I would highly recommend The Home Improver to anyone who wants excellent work performed for them with little supervision at highly reasonable prices.

The contractor quoted $795.00 for labor only for epoxy painting the garage floor sight unseen. He asked that we purchased the epoxy paint from a mail order company and we did that for him. The day he was to show up to do the floor I asked if he also paints ceilings and walls and he stated he charge me a day rate of $450.00 for a full day for him and his assistant to handle this. He said he would get as much done as possible during that day. He and his helper's day only lasted 6 hours including lunch. When I mentioned this to him, he commented that they work faster then most and that is why they only work 6 hours. I paid him $450.00 as he requested and after a little back and forth he agreed to finish off a couple of windows and some patches and then he would start the garage floor. When he went to lunch that day he never returned, no text message, no phone call - nothing. Needless to say, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with contractors, hence the reason for reading Angie's customer reviews. Remember this site is only as good as the people that review contractors - keep reviewing your contractors work.

We have used him in the past for flooring and ceiling services. We recently had him out for drywall replacement and he built a closet for us. We also have before and after pictures of his work. We are very pleased with his work and plan to use him for more projects.

The Home Improver once again came to my property to perform some necessary repairs. The first time I called, Dominic did a big job, including: dry wall repair, painting, general handywork, deck work, yard work and clean up/hauling/moving. All the work was done with A1 rating and at a very competitive price, and work was done ON TIME. The latest work done by The Home Improver was minor painting and general handywork. Again, all the work was top-notch, on time, and at a reasonable price.

He did an excellent job. As a matter of fact he is in the middle of doing another job for me right now. From start to finish it was excellent all the way. The price was good. His work was excellent. He is a good guy, so so far so good. I would use him in the future.
