Description of Work: We had windows installed by window world of Altoona, we were told they would be installed in 6 hours. the first day the installers arrive 4 hours late they worked about 6 hours and said they would be back the next day around 9 am they arrived at 2 pm, worked another 6 hours, still not finished they once again said they would be back the next day around 10 am they arrived around 2 pm and finished around 7:30 pm. it took 3 days and almost 18 hours while we could not use our kitchen as all the furniture etc was piled in there, our living room also was a mess for 3 days. then the supervisor was to come back a 4th day and pick up his tools and cigarette butts etc, he left behind it has been 2 months and he still has not come.

Description of Work: We had 9 windows installed in our home. They arrived on time, was very pleasant to work with. They respected our home. They respected us. It was a very enjoyable project. + -1 moreThe presentation and estimate from the Window World representative went very well. Our windows will be installed in 2-3 weeks and we are looking forward to our new windows.
Description of Work: Our new windows for the entire house will be arriving in about 2-3 weeks and will be installed by Window World. We had a wonderful gentleman come to our home to give us an estimate and show/demonstrate their windows. We were very, very pleased with his presentation and helpfulness. He was able to answer all our questions and was very knowledgable on all aspects. The price was very fair and we love their lifetime guarantee. If we have any issues at all, we can just give them a call and all will be taken care of! I would hightly recommend Window World to everyone who is looking for new or replacement windows...you will not be disappointed.

+ -1 moregreat doors but we have a sliding screen door that was tore before the guy who put it in left our house
Description of Work: they put in FRENCH DOORS in our house when they came to our house to give us a price we asked if you could get sliding screens for them and they told us yes when it came time to put the doors in the guys said that they have NO order for the screens even though we had allready paid for them it took us 6 months to get them to come and put them in when that time came it took the guy 9 hours to put it in plus he tore the screen in about 4 places and window world will not do anything about it

+ -1 moreI had replacement windows installed in 11 windows. The windows are too small to hold air conditioners. I was told before they started the job my air conditioners would fit. I have made several attempts with no contact back about this problem. This company also promises a reward of $50.00 if you refer someone...they do NOT send you a reward. I do NOT recommend this company at all!!

+ -1 moreThe windows are extremely nice but the professionalism was lacking. VERY much lacking. I can honestly say that I was concerned when I saw the group come in. The first group that came did a fairly decent job at cleaning up but the second left a mess everywhere. My carpet was wet and they left insulation all over the place which is a hazard considering I have pets. The owner said he would "make it right" but I never heard back from him. They damaged the woodwork around my window and they never told me. I would have preferred for it not to happen in the first place, but since it did, they could've have been honest about it.

+ -1 moreCancelled many appts,didn't do work properly ,took till end of Oct to complete Now windows are leaking wind and rain. Owner puts me off on different person when I call. Had to fix most of windows and screens,which by the way still don't fit. Now I have to deal with the leaks. Not a happy camper with the entire experience
