Description of Work: I had purchased 4 wood fence panels. Of course, the posts that were in the ground were not at normal spacing. The panels would have to be cut. I called Mike for an estimate and he stopped by the next day. He called and gave me the estimate,and said he could do it while he was there. They took the rotted old fencing and cleaned up. It looks great. I will be using Mr Mike's again.

 + -1 moreMike takes a lot of pride in his work. He is very easy to work with and does a perfect job everytime. I have never been disappointed. I have had him fix items that other handymen had tried to fix, but were not successful doing. I would highly recommend him.

 + 2 moreI was very impressed at the candor and professionalism, demonstrated by the artisan-ship of this man. His ability to remain conscientious in respect to my privacy as he provided his service, is highly commendable; as well as his courteous nature to remain clean and tidy. I live in an old house and he was very good at keeping my expectations very realistic, which he was able to convey to me in a clear and concise manner. He was also very adaptable, capable of adjusting in respect to my needs, as well as in respect to the age of the architecture of my home. He kept me informed, providing tips along the way to better the aesthetic of my home; for an additional price of course, but a price that had proven to be more than worth it, in retrospect to the end result.
Description of Work: He removed all the wallpaper, dry walled the ceiling as well as sanded and painted all the walls along with the trim in the kitchen. He also replaced a ceiling light fixture.

 + -1 moreIt all went pretty smoothly. I found him on Angies list, made the call, and he was out for a quote in a couple days. I believe he called with the quote later that day or the next morning. We got the work scheduled, and it was a quality job.
Description of Work: Mike replaced the decaying wood underneath and around our outer back door. He did a great job that met his estmate, and he used never rot wood, so this should not be a recurring problem. He was helpful and very professional. Things got damp the day he did most of the work, so he delayed painting around the door frame to another day to ensure the finished product was very high quality. We will definitely use Mike again.

Mike came out a few days after contacting him for an estimate, and was able to schedule the work the following week. The repaired ceiling looks like it's always been that way. While he was out, I also had him replace the casement on a doorway. He was prompt, showed up when expected, and communicated with us.
