It went as well as could be expected.

We were very satisfied with the work that Mike did. It looked so much nicer when they were done that it was like we had a brand-new bathroom, though we only had the floor done. He and his sons were very professional from the beginning when he came out to give us the estimate until the time the job was finished. His crew was on time every day and kept us updated as to what they were doing and what we can expect to be done by the time they left. They put tarps over the floor in the living room so that they would not dirty the existing carpet on their way into the kitchen. At the end, there was no mess at all and the took away all the trash and debris that was created from removing the old floor. We couldn't be happier with the job that they did.

Mike and his team were always prompt, exceptionally clean, courteous, and upfront regarding cost. They were fast, but detailed. We are going to have them come back to do our windows.

I needed a leaky patio door replaced and this company did an excellent job. Not only did they install and properly flash the door and replace some damaged siding; they also noticed that a nearby exterior electrical outlet was damaged and improperly grounded and fixed that, too. They checked in with me regularly during the work and cleaned up after themselves when it was done. They also literally went the extra mile: when their local suppliers didn't have the siding needed, they drove to Delaware to get it. This is the second job I've hired them to do; if there's a third, I'll have them on speed dial.

Mike Sr. and his sons Mike Jr. and Danny were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our project was finished on time (4 weeks) and under budget which was ideal. Mike Sr. was extremely responsive from the quote process right through the build, checking in with me via email or text at least every couple of days. He kept me apprised of the progress, was very willing to answer any questions I had and also to offer suggestions on the best approach to items such as electrical and HVAC. He was extremely flexible and willing to work with me regarding any changes I wanted to make to the original estimate. Not only am I happy with the quality of work, but onsite Mike Jr. and Danny were great. They were punctual, polite and also willing to answer any questions I had about the project. They left the job site as clean as it was prior to start of the job. I'll definitely be contacting Mike again and look forward to working with him on future jobs.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He was punctual and responded right away to my questions. He offered good advice about our 65 year old hall bathroom renovation. We had a total rip out - down to the studs, and a new fully tiled tub and wainscoted tile wall to replace the old bathroom. His crew (they are his sons) ripped out a closet and installed a granite desktop and wooden shelves. Really nicely done. His pricing was neither the highest or lowest - but his estimate was highly detailed so we could see exactly what we were getting. He let us know when his crew would be there - and they always showed up when expected. And we are thrilled with the finished product. Mike and his sons were pleasant and upfront about everything. They take pride in their work and we look forward to working with them again.

Mike's professionalism shown through when we hit a small snag with the installation. The door was not what I spec'd from the manufacturer and we were told that the manufacturer could not build what I wanted. Mike ensured that the product we had worked and looked great. All ended with a great looking front door and professional installation. This was my second project with MK and i am already thinking about the next one.

They sent someone out to inspect at a time convenient for me. Sent pics and info and an estimate. They even suggested some things I could do to improve grading/drainage. They adapted to my preferred communication by email, given my meeting-heavy work days. Once scheduled and I paid a third, the work was done within 10 calendar days. There was a tiny snafu on letting me know a little late which day they’d be coming out. But I can’t come up with anything negative to say. Good working with you. Looking at for a bigger project.

We could not be happier with the work that was done by MK Remodeling! From beginning through completion, they handled our project with professionalism while demonstrating their expertise in the attention to detail that was applied in their work. Tarps were laid and they cleaned up each day, leaving as much of our house in the best condition as possible throughout the project. This respect for our property was greatly appreciated and they truly treated our house with the same amount of care they treat their own. Also, their communication was great, always filling us in with updates and what to expect from day to day. Their responsiveness to our questions, whether through email or text, was immediate. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and really took the stress out of what can be a stressful experience. For any project you may have, I cannot recommend MK Remodeling enough! MK Remodeling was very responsive in answering our questions and inquiries throughout the process. Very professional, and helpful in offering advice, and options. We ultimately decided to hold off on any work at this time due to other considerations.

I needed to close off a drafty room from the rest of the house. They presented me with a beautifully detailed estimate for a paint-ready wall and door. They stayed in contact about the start date and were communicative throughout the project, always checking in with me to make sure things were proceeding as I wished. The work went well and they cleaned up after themselves nicely; all I had to do was paint! A great company; would hire again.

MK Remodeling did a wonderful job of renovating our kitchen, replacing the existing flooring in our foyer, laundry room and powder room, and changing a bathroom vanity. Mike, Mike and Dan handled the project with expertise and professionalism. The estimated costs were competitive and initially presented to us in great detail. After choosing our selections for the remodel, they took care of obtaining supplies and materials, from the ordering and delivery of kitchen cabinets and countertop to picking up the flooring. Our concerns were addressed and we were always informed about what they would be working on and any issues that arose along the way. Coordinating work with the kitchen designer, plumber and electrician, they kept the project on schedule. They cared about the quality of their work and were always pleasant and considerate of our family while on the job. They also tried to minimize the inconveniences of not having a fully functioning kitchen, bathroom and laundry room whenever possible. We are really enjoying our beautiful kitchen and floors and highly recommend MK Remodeling.

It was totally awesome, Mike and his sons were very responsive to our requests, brought any concerns to us before they became big issues, and made the entire process very easy to tolerate. Mike even took us to a cabinet specialist to choose our style, we found things we didn't even know existed. It's hard going without your kitchen but theses guys were not only professional but fun to work with. Working on getting the bathroom done next by MK Remodeling. I would highly recommend.

Mike and his team were great to work with from beginning to end. We had never hired a contractor before or taken on such a big project. This resulted in some indecisiveness on our part along the way but Mike from MK Remodeling was patient and always willing to offer guidance throughout the renovation. The estimate process was easy and fast. While we had trouble getting estimates from other contractors, MK had a complete estimate written for us in just a couple of days. Even after we changed our minds about the layout, Mike had a revised estimate to us in no time. Work began on time and the team was at our house every day until the job was complete. When unexpected challenges came up after the demolition(as they do with these projects), MK handled them in stride and still managed to stay within the estimate quoted. The project was completed ahead of schedule and the work looks great! I really can’t say enough about how great our experience was with MK Remodeling Inc. The next time we have a project come up I will definitely call them.

All went well. As is the norm for our house, the doors were not of standard size, so Mike, Mike and Dan had a lot of precision work to do. They handled the job masterfully. And hey are very careful to clean up after themselves.

Outstanding Experience. We had 5 estimates prior to completing the work. All were very close in range, but we ultimately selected MK remodeling because of the personalized approach and genuine desire to want it to be done our way, but also the right way. You could tell it is a family owned business and they take a lot of pride in their work. This was the 3rd major renovation we have used in the past 2 years on our home, and it was by far the best overall experience. We did not feel like a "customer", but more of a partner in completing the work. We were asked multiple times through the project specifically how we wanted something to look at the end result, and it did not disappoint. To top if off, I have never had a contractor with such great communication skills. Almost immediate response on everything along way, even after the project had been complete and we had a follow up question. Everyone that was a part of the project was friendly, professional, and detailed. We will definitely be calling Mike again for our next project and recommending him to anyone we know who needs work in the area.

They showed up exactly when they were scheduled, explained any issues they came across to make sure I understood what they were doing ahead of time, were extremely professional & cleaned up after each job was done over the course of the 3 days they were there. The price they quoted was the price I paid & there were no additional hidden costs. I will definitely call them again for other projects.

Great. Mike helped design it gave us great suggestions . They came and worked diligently so we have been able to enjoy it this summer. Have gotten many complements . Would definitely use them again

MK was great to work with. He listened to what i wanted, made suggestions and met my expectations. We had one unexpected situation when it became apparent that the deck stair structure, which was supposed to be re-used, had to be replaced. Mike explained carefully what needed to be done and why. The project was still finished on time.

Got the deck finished, looks fantastic and Mike was able to deliver and keep it under budget. Have gotten plenty of compliments since.

The project went really well. MK Remodeling was very good about mapping out a schedule for the work and payments. We knew what to expect and when.
