Our experience with Brad Sarafinas could not have gone better. From a prompt return of my intial call, to showing up when we agreed to for both his estimating visit and actual work, through the quaility of his work, Brad was great to work with. He found some "surprises" in completing a repair of a vent pipe, and talked me through what he found and how he fixed it. All in all, I would highly recommend Brad and his services for homeowners who are looking for repair/handyman type work from someone who they can count on. As stated, a great experience and we will definitely be using Brad again.

Overall a great experience. I received an estimate via email within a day and scheduled the work for a week out. My tenants said that Brad was pleasant, very polite and flexible. One of the jobs turned out to be more complex than initially planned and required him to make several trips for additional parts, but he was very flexible in making sure that the quality of work was there. Would definitely recommend their services as I plan to use them again in the future.

The estimate was given over the phone according to my description. The company owner arrived at the prescribed time and was polite, efficient, friedly and removed the fixture that was mounted to the ceiling. He replaced it with the house-issued fixture. The job was clean and performed within a very short amout of time to my satisfaction.

I had an excellent experience with Brad Sarafinas. Even though it was a small job, he came by once to provide and estimate, and then came back on a Saturday to do the service. He was punctual, and called before he arrived so that we could be ready. He completed the work professionally. He was very courteous and professional during the whole interaction. He also charges a very reasonable rate. I would definitely use his services again when the need arises, and I highly recommend him to others.

He is very tidy and he brings his own creativity to the process. You don’t have to know exactly what you want; you give him the ideas and he’ll let you know what is possible.

We originally tried Brad based on the high ratings on Angie's list. I was thrilled with the result. Brad was very responsive, he immediately contacted me about providing estimates, setting up a time to come out to see the work we wanted. He stayed in contact with us throughout the estimate and job, keeping us informed about timing and setting expectations. I think it's important to note that we had another larger job that we wanted an estimate for. Brad gave his opinion that it was unnecessary and would not yield the result we were looking for. This was after we had received an estimate from someone else for the same job. He could have easily given us a quote and done the work, but instead he was truthful with us on setting expectations. The work he performed was great. The additional molding and trim he installed looks fantastic. In addition, when he was working on the molding in the kitchen, he brought up the cracked tile (which was a personal pet peeve of mine). He immediately quoted a more than reasonable price to fix the tile and set up another date to come out and do the work (which looks so much better!) I've already got him working on an estimate for another smaller job for us in the fall. Then, in the spring, I'm going to get him to work up an estimate to put in a new walkway and lighting on the front of our house. It's nice to know we now have someone we can trust to do great work for a reasonable price. I would not consider going with anyone else.

The service call was very successful. I would not hesitate to recommend Brad and to call him for additional work. My two major reasons are: 1) Brad did not try to sell me equipment I did not need 2) Brad is a man of his word.

It has been a pleasure to have Brad Sarafinas complete the multiple projects we needed done around our home. The estimate he gave us before work began was timely and accurate. Due to our schedule, we are out of town a lot and had numerous visitors staying in our home, yet Brad was very flexible and both able & willing to work with us on getting each project scheduled during the times that were most convenient for us. We can't say enough about the high quality of Brad's work and his professionalism. We would highly recommend Sarafinas Home Repair to anybody.

This is the third project that we have had Brad complete for us; as before it was a pleasure! Brad provide us with a thorough estimate to install a travertine tile backsplash. He provided us with ideas of how to lay the tile to really maximize the impact. Brad took the time to measure and draw a diagram of our kitchen to help us to determine how much tile we needed to order. Brad did offer to purchase the tile for us,but we decided to go to a warehouse to see the tile in person. When we decided to try a new product, TruColor grout, he made a sample board to make sure the color was correct and to be sure he understood the properties of the product. After meticulous work the finished backsplash includes main tiles set on the diagional with small inset accent tiles. Brad was so precise in his work that he measured out each inset and tile in order for it to be visually appealing. We appreciate his work ethic and will continue to use Sarafinas Home Repair. *Please note the above price does not include materials.

He was wonderful. His first estimate was $250. When he found out what it was, he only charged us the $50. His honesty was just wonderful. I will definitely call him again. He was right there. He called to make sure that everything was working okay. He was excellent. I can't say enough good things about him.

We recently had radiant heat installed in our kitchen addition, and needed to complete the insulation in the crawlspace. I knew Brad was a winner when he came out and enthusiastically leaped into the crawlspace, climbing around and looking for air gaps. His bid was competitive with a big local insulation provider (whose estimator did NOT jump into holes.) Brad also had opinions about the importance of sealing air gaps, not just sticking in fiberglass batts. Some research convinced me that he was absolutely 100% correct, so at his suggestion he caulked and sealed all the bays, with an immediate and noticeable improvement and elimination of drafts. Brad also removed drywall in our kitchen to get at a problematic air gap between two exterior walls. He took pictures and emailed them to me. He repaired the drywall like a CHAMP, coming in Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, like making that drywall perfect was his mission in life. His price came in very close to the estimate, his work was impeccably neat, and the whole area looks better and feels much warmer than before he started - for instance, the shoe moldings are tighter to the floor. I highly recommend not only his price and results, but his enthusiastic and careful attitude. Great work!

The job included working with the original artist in order to meet her exact specifications. There was quite a bit of detail, time and patience involved. Brad Sarafina was marvelous, a true professional. He was punctual and meticulous. My only hesitation in using the superlatives he deserves is that he might become too busy for us in the future. We would recommend him to anyone and the (nationally known) artist was extremely impressed. We will definitely call Brad with any future projects. He was able to fit us in right away and was willing to stay late (during Christmas week) in order to get the job done.

I e-mailed and left a voice mail on Brad's phone and informed him of the leak. I was hoping that he might able to come the next day. To my surprise, Brad has a data phone that allows him to immediately pickup e-mail and voice mail. He called me back immediately and I explained the problem. He said that he would be there in 45 minutes. He showed up in about that time and about an hour later the job was done. No more leak and a brand new drain under the sink.

Excellent overall. The attic was roughed in and full of stored items from moving in. The work was difficult because of tight working space, but there were no complaints. Offered many ideas to conserve space and increase utility of space.

I had purchased an outside timer for lights on my porch and my lawn. When I tried to install it I found that the installation was going to surpass my ability electrically because the timer was being wired into a 3 way switch that was in a junction box that was already fairly full with wires. I decided to call Brad. Brad responded to my request right away, showed up on time and completed the job very professionally.

Brad completed both repairs within the amount estimated. I will definitely contact him again for home repairs. Very professional, friendly, completed both jobs in a timely manner. My first experience with a contractor through Angie's List was excellent!

He came pretty quickly but his estimate was way high so I didn't use him. He added a lot of stuff on top on the estimate such as hazmat work such as sealing doors and doing lead paint testing. It almost doubled the estimate. I've had this house for almost 34 years and it was certified lead-free when I bought it. I didn't bother calling him back. He was very courteous and came relatively quick. He got the estimate to me within 3 or 4 days, which was good.

Brad Sarafinas' work is absolutely outstanding. The deck was difficult to work with because there was a hot tub on top of it requiring a lot of detailed work to get around the hot tub. Brad's attention to detail appears to be his hallmark as he is as meticulous as one could be. The work exceeded our expectations. He not only rolled the stain on but also then brushed over most of it to ensure that the stain filled the grain in the wood decking. The deck looks great. I will definitely keep Brad's phone number handy for any future Handyman jobs we may have.

This was an excellent experience! Brad was responsive to my short time frame and he did a thorough job - I had no idea how much better everything would look after the powerwashing. He strikes me as someone who takes pride in his work and will go the extra mile to get things done right. He is extremely knowledgable about all types of home repairs. In fact, I plan to have him replace my sliding glass door in the near future. I will enthusiastically recommend him to all of my friends and family members.

Brad supplied us with an estimate for a pull-down attic staircase. He was responsive when we asked for a product description and supplied us with the website in order for us to completely review the product. Brad kept us informed as to when the product arrived and set a tentative install date. As the date grew closer he confirmed via email and a follow up phone call the morning of the install. Brad arrived on time and prepared the room with drop cloths to minimize any debris. As Brad prepared the opening for the stair unit it became apparent that a plumbing vent pipe and electrical lines would need to be rerouted. Brad explained the entire process and made sure that we were satisfied with his plans. The completed project is functional and attractively installed.

I called and Sarafinas returned my call within hours. He offered to do the work that day, though it was a holiday. He arrived when he said he would, negotiated a fair price, completed the work and cleaned up the area when he was finished. He explained clearly what he was doing and answered questions. It went very well.

From start to finish the owner, Brad, did an outstanding job. Brad came to our home to give us an estimate. The estimate was emailed to us with complete descriptions included. Communication prior and during the job was excellent. Brad's professionalism and pride in his work is evident. When Brad came back and completed the job, he had just instituted a discount to Angie's List members - he extended this discount to us as well automatically. The finished work completed by Brad looks fantastic. Brad took his time to make sure that everything was sealed and completed correctly. He cleaned up the area and offered to email a paid proof invoice to close the job. We recommend Sarafinas and look forward to working with them again.

I liked how he showed up when he said he would, he had also gave me a clear estimate on how much everything would be. The work was spectacular, and I am happy we used them.

He also did the garage door repair and insulation work. He is local. I use him a lot and recommend him a lot. I have actually referred him to probably 6 or 8 people who have used him as well. He really can do just about everything. He is a contractor, so he can do pretty much anything and everything except painting. I tell everybody about him because his work is meticulous. He is very detailed and just does excellent work. He always cleans up after himself, which is a big thing for us. His prices to date have always been less than any other estimate that we?ve had. He is also excellent about getting back to people in a reasonable time and following up with any concerns and issues. I am a realtor myself. A lot of people that I work with just need a whole bunch of little things done which are not always major pieces of work. He is always really great about a lot of those kinds of things rather than having to bring in seven different people to do the work. We are actually considering him to do hardwood flooring, but we are looking at some other people as well. He is scheduled to be here in a few weeks to do some more drywall in our garage.

Brad is responsive to calls and e-mails. His work is meticulous and the quality is outstanding. His estimates are accurate. He is friendly, professional and hardworking. As a realtor who works with many people who offer similar services, Brad far outshines them all. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Brad.
