I was pleased that he was able to take on my smaller job and he took care and time and did not rush through it. He even cleaned up the mistakes I had made when I tried to hang them myself.

We asked Brad to do two separate and distinct bodies of work for us. First, he repaired drywall seams in our two-story stairwell and laundry room that the builder did a lousy job installing. Second, he installed ceiling electrical boxes wired to switches and ceiling fans with overhead lighting in each of the bedrooms and the family room. The job lasted three days, the last one being a Saturday, to accommodate our schedule. Brad did a great job and was very professional throughout. He is a nice guy with a great personality and knows his stuff. He explained different pieces to me along the way and answered all of my questions. He also did a great job putting up with our two dogs that wanted to bark, sniff and lick him every time he came into the house. We highly recommend him and plan to use him in the future as the need arises.

Brad showed up on time and performed the work efficiently and smoothly, explaining any issues as he went along. He also did a good job cleaning up as he went. For the leaky pipe, he figured out where the leak was coming from and fixed it. We appreciated that he not only installed parts we purchased, but also brought along parts to fix the toilet based on our description of the problem.

Brad gave me an estimate over email, I approved it over email, and a couple of days later he had a hole in his schedule. I was pretty sure that it was gonna be tough for him to get the new vent hooked up to the exterior wall, but no trouble. Quick, easy, no muss, no fuss, and the price was exactly what he quoted.

I left two messages regarding upcoming projects. No one returned my phone call.

Brad replaced numerous drywall areas in ceiling and wall that had been damaged. He also repainted those areas. Work was extremely well done, taking great care to prevent spread of any dust from sanding the drywall by using shopvac attachment for sander to collect all dust. Repairs and painting were done over two visits, and we were completely satisfied. Price was exactly as quoted. Enjoyed the experience of working with Brad as a person, and we would definitely call on Brad again for future work.

Brad was a wonder kind -- discussed jobs in detail. drew them up, sent detailed e-mail estimate, and did quality work. We get compliments on everything he has done to upgrade our home. Brad's motto is something like, "there is always a solution," and that came in handy with our older home. With kitchen, Brad spent considerable time with tricky electrical work that meant many trips to tight quarters in attic (on hot days) and wiring the kitchen for some beautiful, upgraded lighting. He installed all new appliances; did cabinetry work that left us with beautiful and (greater) storage space for food pantry and kitchen items; walked us through a process where we visited sites to pick out granite counter tops which he installed; reconfigured our tight kitchen space so we picked up an added 5 feet matching granite-top galley opposite the sink; and added a great looking tile backsplash and tile wall design that my wife picked in consultation with Brad. Again, everything quality and within a price range which our friends thought we could not do a kitchen upgrade this extensive With one bedroom, Brad met with my wife and I to pick out hardwood flooring and new closet storage pieces. Again, completed job looked amazing. Brad did some great woodwork for closet, the floor looks and feels great, the interior door from hallway fits and adds to appearance of room itself, and the painting that he did (as with kitchen), is perfect. Brad has also installed new flooring in a second bedroom, added another nice paint job, installed entry doors from hallway, and, because of the odd sizing of one large closet opening in this room, he is building a door that we are sure will look terrific when installed. I could go on about the work, but I want to add that we got to know Brad as a person --- always a real gentleman and we learned not only to trust him completely but to enjoy his coming to our home. Over the course of time we found out what a terrific family man he is and got to meet the acquaintance of his very pleasant spouse when she came by a few times to drop something off for Brad. The only thing I can add is that the challenge that customers run into when they find someone this good is that they will be sharing Brad's skills with other customers who have labor - intensive projects as well. Just remember -- the results are amazing!

Fantastic. Brad was very professional and did great work at a reasonable price. We literally had a one page list, single spaced. We threw a lot at him and he could handle it all. We would highly recommend him.

On-time, suggestions to reduce price, found and fixed a leak.

We called him initially and set up appointment for 3 weeks later. On the day that he was supposed to come he never showed up nor did he call with reason. We called him twice before he returned our call and told us that he had lost our contact number as he lost his note book with contacts in it when he was out of town. He did come to look at what needed to be done and told us that he will email us the estimate in 2 days. We are still waiting for it. We even checked our spam folder to make sure it was not sent to that folder by mistake. It has been over a week and we are still waiting for the estimate.

Brad was very professional, punctual and takes great pride in his work. My wife and I are very happy and impressed with the final result. He is a very pleasant businessman and a joy to deal with. He pays great attention to detail and the finished product was perfect. Would definitely use him again.

Never finished the job and never called to follow up with the things that were to be done

Told me he would be by on a specific date, roughly a week from our conversation, to give an estimate. Did not show up, did not call, did not respond to my calls. Thumbs down on this guy!

Brad contacted me after I found him on this site, we made arrangements to meet which he was kind enough to change as my plans had changed. We established a new meeting time and he arrived within the designated time. Collected his information and sent me an estimate that night. After ensuring he had the requisite insurance and that he would be the only person on site doing work, we picked a date for the work. Brad showed up as scheduled and proceeded with the work described above. It went smoothly. Brad was cheerful, and professional. He completed the work and left the area in good shape.

Brad came the later the day I called him and looked at the issues we had and told us what needed to be done. He suggest that we could go ahead and do them ourselves because they were easy fixes. The light we had already started ourselves and just happen to have a wire out of place. He corrected the issue and didn't charge us anything for his time. Which we thought was very nice, and will be calling him again in the future for other issues.

Brad returned my initial inquiry call immediately (same day) and stopped by to disucuss the jobs. He was prompt, professional, friendly and knowledgable. He followed up promptly with a written, detailed estimate for each task. We agreed upon a date (I sent a small deposit) and he arrived as scheduled. Brad was very neat and efficient and explained everything that he was doing to ensure my complete satisfaction. One of the jobs took a little longer than expected, so he returned -- at my convenience -- the following day to finish. During the time he was at my home, I had several questions unrelated to the original agreed upon work and he took time to look at those jobs and share his considerable expertise. The final balance was not only fair, but a little under what I had expected. Brad did excellent work and was a pleasure to welcome into my home. I would recommend him without reservation. I expect that I will be calling on him many times in the future.

He is a 100% professional and we paid him for the door and work performed to that point, as we needed to treat the property and then get the damage repaired. We ended up working with the termite services company to fix the damage, and they were able to replace the door. This had nothing to do with Mr. Sarafinas, more with keeping the job to a single contractor. We will use Mr. Sarafinas in the future. He's a class act and very trustworthy.

Overall, Brad was very professional. I know when he came for the estimate, I was not home...and my son explained what I wanted him to do. Kids, being kids, neglected to let Brad know the extent of the work. He took it all in stride and I could not be happier with his work. I would recommend him for just about any job you need. He offers suggestions and does not always think the most expensive way is the way to go. I will be using Brad in the future for my bathroom remodel and installation of a new kitchen floor. His work is superior and you will not be disappointed.

This is the second time I have called upon Mr. Sarafinas to do work in my home. For both repairs he was on time, professional, and courteous. He even tried to help me trouble shoot the second repair problem over the phone and responded on site the same day I called to complete the repair. I did not think honest and dependable home repair specialists still existed (like ones with the values and work ethic of my grandparents era) but Brad Serafinas is definitely one of them. I highly recommend him for any home repair you need.

My husband and I are remodeling our 1950's house and had a couple of tough jobs we wanted to outsource - taking down stone facing from a fireplace and framing a high sloped ceiling for drywall. Brad gave us a fair price, arrived when he said he would and did an excellent job. He offered ideas on how to best complete the projects, which was very helpful since we didn't know how to proceed. Brad is personable, easy to work with and has high standards, which I really appreciate. We will definitely be using his services again. My husband is thrilled to now have a go-to guy he can trust to help him get through the "honey-do" list.
