Brad Sarafinas provides the most professional, detailed work that anyone could ever ask for. This is one of many projects that Brad has performed for us (including deck refinishing and other miscellaneous remodeling jobs in the past), and we are ALWAYS more than satisfied. Personable, accomplished, professional and pays great attention to detail. You don't even know that work was performed when he is done. An absolutely outstanding pro who exceeds expectations on every job. You will NEVER regret engaging Brad for any type of work relative to remodeling, upgrades or simple maintenance and "honey do" work. He is undoubtedly the best contractor I have ever used in all of my 65 years on this planet. He refinished our aged and worn bottom stair railing and hand rails exactly as we specified, and reinstalled in such a manner that you wouldn't even know they'd been reworked. So very happy and satisfied with all that this gentleman does.

These guys are great. Prompt professional and outstanding service. They treat your home like it is theirs. They painted pretty much the whole house and did an outstanding job.

I contacted him twice - once by phone and once through this web site. I never received a response. Very unprofessional. I will never contact this business again and do not recommend them.

Overall experience with Brad was very good, he was prompt in coming over to provide an estimate, scheduling the work and completing it on time. Brad and Matt were very professional and detail oriented, they took their time to do the job correctly and to our satisfaction. It was our first time using their services, and I was a bit worried with some negative reviews however we were very satisfied. We will definitely use them in the future.

I had a hard time connecting with Brad at first. He didn't return the first email, then we played tag with dates. He didn't have much flexibility with his availability. He came out to see the job, and felt that he could get the painting- ceiling and walls, change 2 light fixtures, and a towel bar done in the 16 hrs. When we finally settled on a date, he and his partner came about 45 min late. They did call, and said they were at the paint store and would be running slightly late. They were very personable and professional. They worked all day straight thru with no real breaks. Brad did the dining room, and his partner was up in the bath. The overall job was good, but there were a few smudges here and there. Nothing I can't live with, or would call them back for. I was somewhat annoyed and disappointed that Brad basically had to run out at 5pm sharp because he had scheduled another job that evening. He didn't have time to change out the dining room light (which prob would have only taken him a few minutes, took me almost an hour because I'd never done it before, and had to do wrangle it alone). Nor did he change out the towel bar, or install a new curved shower rod in the bathroom. He didn't really do a full walk around with me to see if there was anything wrong because he had to leave. Overall, they were good, but the whole experience didn't leave a positive feeling for me. I doubt I'd use them again.

Did not call back after giving an estimate. Did not return my calls either.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It worked out fine. He was really professional, very nice, he was very honest, and we thought this person was very fair. It was fine. I have no complaints whatsoever. I spent more than $319, maybe it was up to $6,000.

We used Sarafinas on two occasions. One was with an all-day coupon. The work was performed so efficiently and professionally that I ran out of work for the day. He came back on a separate occasion and completed all work I had scheduled much faster than I expected and at a high quality. His prices are very reasonable. I will definitely use his services again. Highly recommended.

It was good. It took some work to get things coordinated with him. So he does very great work but he’s very hard to get a hold of. The thing was he didn’t bring all his equipment and then it took probably another 4 weeks to get everything done. But he was good to his word and he worked very hard while he was there and got a lot done. He was very fair. He gave us some advice on how to hook up a lint trap to a laundry/dryer vent. He solved a major problem in a room that contained the furnace and the hot water heater that I was concerned about. The house is about 26 years old. He checked the basement wall on the inside and there was no evidence of any leakage. He did an excellent job of pressure washing. Some of the delay was because there was intermittent rain and thunderstorms. The pressure washing was very well done. The final sealing of the gap between the sidewalk and the patio was done very well. All of these repairs are holding up very well. He’s very knowledgeable and a very good worker. I would recommend him.

I was looking for plumbing work, install a toilet and sink, replace a heating element in hot water heater and replace two outside faucets. I called listed phone number and left a message and left a return phone number it's been a number of days and no response.

As mentioned above, I have hired Brad on more than one occasion and he has been a delight to work with. He knows his business and has good practical ideas on how to get the job done.

One of my GFCI outlet blow off and Brad not only helped me replaced this outlet also verified all the outlets in the same circuit, that is beyond what I expected. Thank you Brad!

Sarafinas Home Repair was very good. He did quite a few things for us in the day and the guy was reasonable. We were happy with him. He was very clean, cleaned up after himself and he did what he said he would do. I was very pleased. I had to buy the cement and some other small supplies.

Unfortunately I never heard from them again. I called twice to get my estimates but didn't get a call back. One project involved replacing the front railing while the other project was a kitchen renovation. Very disappointed!

Brad is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I find him very easy to work with and I think his pricing is extremely fair and reasonable given the time and labor spent. I would highly recommend him! The only caveat is he may do too good a job as he can be hard to book - such is the demand for his work. It's a small price to pay for a job well done though:)

He was professional and yet friendly. He explained all the procedures and was sure to clean up each day. He worked late into the evening to cut the ceramic tiles. The end result makes me almost happy to cook.

Brad did a great job with the actual work but I felt like I had to chase him to get a response. When I first bought the Angie's List Deal (handyman for a day), it took 2 phone calls before we got an email back. I felt like I had to send an email twice for each time I had a question. When he told me he had 06/24 open if I wanted it, I emailed him back to agree, emailed him a second time to confirm that he was indeed coming and what time (so we knew what we needed to buy from the home improvement store), and he did not get back to me until the day of the appointment. I was lucky that my husband is off of work on Mondays and was home because I wouldn't have wanted to take a day off of work without knowing for sure if he was coming. We asked Brad to provide estimates to get the electrical work installed for two ceiling fans along with an estimate to renovate our basement. Never heard back from him and I don't have time to email him multiple times. I am pregnant and we need the basement done before the baby is here & before we start the nursery, so time is crucial. If he got better about contacting customers back and confirming appointments prior to the day of, I'd use him again.

Brad arrived promptly at 9:30 and worked diligently for the 6 hours I contracted for. His work and demeanor was very professional and I was very happy with all he managed to accomplish. I would definitely use Sarafina's home Repair again.

Originally we had planned on having Brad frame out a entry into a closet so we could hide unsightly litter boxes on our main floor of our home. We have hardwood floors so the dust from the litter left a nasty film on the floors no matter how much I cleaned. After talking with us about our situation we decided that we didn't want our winter coats smelling like dirtly cat litter. Brad came up with a plan to build a chest that had an opening that the cats would walk through along with 2 doors on the front that swing open for access. He also built a hinged top that makes scooping the boxes a breeze. It was the perect size and he worked deligently to ensure that the piece matched the step back cupboard in our kitchen so It brings the the decor together and fits perfectly in our service entrance that is tiled so the litter dust stays off the hardwood. All of our litter problems are solved. I will have to take photos and post since it is a beautiful piece. If we move we can take it with us too. PS the cats love it too!

We just bought a new construction house on April 30th, 2013 and we wanted someone to paint our two story family room since there was no way that we were going to be able to do it on our own. We had Brad invoice us for other rooms but decided, at first, that we were only going to go with the family room. Once Brad finished our family room we were so impressed with the job that he completed that we asked him to come back and finish other rooms that we really wanted done. Brad is very meticulous with his work and it shows with the finished product. Brad was also a great source of entertainment as he enjoys singing along to whatever Pandora station he has playing on his phone while he works. I am extremely pleased with the work that Brad completed in our house and we will definitely use him again. Also, please note that the only reason that I gave Brad a "B" on his responsiveness is because he runs a small business and is EXTREMELY busy. He will respond!

We bought the special on Angie's List. When we called to schedule, he called back immediately. Showed up on time, did excellent work. Plan to use Brad again once we get our to-do list together.

We bought a coupon. Our son's first holy communion was coming up quick. Brad fit us into his schedule with short notice. Greatly appreaciated his flexibility. Arrived on time and worked full days.
