Very professional; explained everything; gave me suggestions for a couple of plumbing needs that I could do myself.

My old water softner was leaking. Mattioni ordered and replace the old water softner with a much better newer model. They also corrected some plumbing issues from the previous water softner installer. The new system works great.

I called several places including those promising 24/7 service and Mattioni was the only one who could come out the same day. It was raining outside and we had no water so it was a bad day all around. The tech was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the bad pump. He replaces the pump and all the piping/cabling. They have a huge binder with all the pricing in it. You can get a discount if you join their "club" for $100. I did and it still saved me a few hundred. They came out for a complimentary whole house inspection and found another $1,000 worth of questionable work to do for inflated prices. They seem very good, but they are very expensive. I had to choice or time to shop around at the time.

Their price for replacement was very fair. However, I am sort of handy and knew that it was a repair that I could manage on my own.

Excellent. Their technicians are extremely professional and courteous. They take the time to explain all the problems and potential solutions. Dennis and Matt have serviced the furnace and both are great technicians.

We found Mattioni when remodelling our powder room, they were working on this project as a subcontractor. So when we needed some plumbing help we knew where to go. From the beginning we had two problems with the water in our house: first the hot water boiler is on the opposite end of our house than our master bathroom is. So getting warm water in the morning took around 2 minutes (full cycle of an electric tooth brush...). This was inconvenient and a waste of water. Second our water was slightly on the hard side. Mattioni explained to us all the options and so we eventually had them put in a hot water circulation loop in the basement and a water softener. In the process they even corrected an issue with the boiler's over pressure container which was not properly attached. The team was very friendly, on time and left our basement cleaner than it was before. We feel very well served and have nothing but good things to say. In the meantime Mattioni helped us resolving another issue caused by the builder. They went above and beyond with Kohler to identify the exact parts needed and managed to get replacement parts on warranty.

I'm a fan of Mattioni. Their prices aren't the cheapest around I'm sure... but the quality is excellent. I, for one, would rather have an awesome company I can trust so I don't waste too much time worrying about HVAC stuff from here out rather than dive into a hole of research to see who out there can beat them on price.

After being on hold with another local well-known company for over five minutes, I was pleased to have my call answered right away by Mattioni's. They sent a technician out right away, gave me a reasonable/high estimate; explained the need for the expansion tank and the gas pipe grounding. Work was done later that day. Technician was a bit chatty, and did need to return the next day to fix a very small leak, which they did for obviously no charge. All in all, we were pleased, and would use them again.

Thermostat was replaced and was under warranty. While check my water pressure they determined that it was low and replaced the main valve.

They said there was a bend in the pipe. They said that the quality of the pipe was not very good. Also it hadn't been backfilled properly so it created this bend in the pipe and the air pocket caused a problem. I was out of warranty for the house, it was a year or two after maybe even three years after the warranty. I called them and explained the situation. They said I was outside of the warranty and we are not going to do it. So I kind of threatened them a little bit to see if I could get them to move. They came out and they brought another company who said it had nothing to do with that and it was a blockage between the toilet and the outside. I never saw that. They snaked it and I paid the additional fee for that, and I still have the problem. I didn't continue down the builder path because I thought it was a losing battle at this point. I didn't get anywhere. It's going to run me a couple thousand dollars. You can't get a backhoe in there so they have to dig it by hand and remove the section of the pipe to put a new piece of pipe in there. I had a bathroom in the basement put in. There is a pump that pushes water or sewage out. Whenever I notice there is a problem I force the pump to run and it takes care of the problem because it forces water through the area. Once a month I go and run it a couple times and I don't have a problem. Mattioni was probably right in his assessment. They were very professional. I would use them again. The price is consistent with what other people are charging, but they are pretty high in general. Mattioni recorded it as well. That is something the other company didn't do. That may explain why the were a little higher. They came out when they said the would and did exactly what they said they would do. I said I have a problem and they looked at it.

It went well and I was very pleased with their work.

Jared C. and Dave S. came to my house to inspect a leaking electric water heater and determined it to be beyond repair. They reviewed all of my options and were very clear about all costs. I agreed to the installation and they had a brand new water heater installed within 90 minutes. Both men were very courteous and professional. Excellent service

The gentleman was very friendly and professional. He provided an estimate as requested. Though we decided to go in a different direction for our dishwasher installation, I will not hesitate to call Main Line Plumbing again and hope to be able to complete some kitchen and bath renovations in the future where I may be able to use them.

He referred us to a good treatment company who was able to come out and correct the problem immediately.

Phone calls were promptly returned, however I decided to go with another company for a much quicker service.

We need a small baseboard (5ft 8 in long) removed and re-routed beneath the kitchen floor because we had a wall removed between the kitchen and dining room. The technician came to our house to give us a quote and to complete the job if we chose to move forward after receiving the quote. The charge was $60 just to have someone show up at the door. They were up front about this and I should have listened my to my instincts and called someone else, but I really wanted the job done. I was a little shocked at the high quote because I was told by a few people it was a fairly straight forward project that didn't involve much in the way of materials/labor. I told him I was not expecting it to cost quite that much. The technician felt the need to defend the high quote, even going as far as comparing his line of work to being a doctor...My response was, "with all due respect I don't feel your job is comparable to being a doctor." His reply was, "actually, in a lot of ways I need to know a lot more than a doctor." Really??? I mean, really??? Maybe it's just me, but I was amazed by that response. I'm extremely annoyed that I spent $60 for 5 minutes of this person's time (and, btw I live about 5 minutes down the road, so no significant travel time). Lesson learned, I guess. On a positive note, the person who took my phone call and dispatcher were very friendly. The technician was prompt (even early) to the appointment.

They were great, very accommodating! He double checked all of his before leaving, very good service.

The service was performed in a very professional and timely manner. Dave Mattioni answered all of my questions. He described exactly how he would handle the job and performed accordingly. He and his men were professional and courteous and were very careful working in and around my house. The job went well and we have had no problems. I highly recommend this company.

Paul arrived on time. He located the leak methodically and showed us how he achieved his success. We are always comfortable with Mattioni. We know we can breathe a sigh of relief after they've been here to do some work for us. We admire and appreciate these outstanding professionals.

We were so grateful to Mattioni for agreeing to come check out our kitchen leak on very short notice. John, one of Mattioni's most experienced plumbers, found the source of the leak and repaired it very quickly. We have beautiful hardwood flooring in our kitchen. We had visions of having the floor boards curl as a result of the minor flooding. Instead, John cleaned up the water and set about solving the problem which he did quickly and adeptly. He had to replace a part which was simple enough to do. We asked to have John come back to replace a water filter a couple of weeks later. He arrived on time...we were delighted that he arrived armed with a high quality filter. John is adept and deliberate in taking on plumbing challenges. He was happy to answer questions and pleased when a customer shows a genuine interest in knowing more about the household plumbing. We feel confident that Mattioni will never charge us for work that isn't necessary. Instead, we are thrilled to know we'll always be able to count on Mattioni and John to deliver outstanding service at an appropriate price. John adds to Mattioni's good name. From here on, we'll ask for John when we call Mattioni for service.

Today was the 3rd try to call Mattioni over a year or so's time, I called them to get a competitive quote on a water heater replacement several months ago and I got the run around on whether or not they could have somone out. Today I called and let them know I needed a new water pump and I was told it would be a $60 charge just to come out and do a quote. I told them I would call someone else. Three strikes and you're out.

It was a fantastic experience. They were prompt. They were courteous. They cleaned up after themselves. They explained thoroughly. I felt confident in the work they did.

Very well! I had initially contacted them for a well pump. They have a good rating on Angie's list and they were prompt when they came out.

I had just bought my first house and we had needed to turn on our air conditioner for the first time. The AC was not blowing cool air and we decided to call Mattioni to come recharge the unit. They were prompt in their response and were able to get a service professional out quickly. I was happy with the service professional and his work however, when it came time to pay the bill I was floored. For an AC seervice and adding a few lbs. of refrigerant the bill was nearly $700. I was shocked and asked if that pricing was correct because it seemed to be incredibly high. The employee showed me the pricing out of his book and, being a new homeowner with no experience dealing with this, I assumed that must just be the going rate. I decided to call the HVAC company who had serviced the unit for the prior homeowner and had them come out the next week to do an annual service and checkup. I asked them about the pricing and was told that their price was nearly 5 times less per lb. than what Mattini had charged me. I decided to call Mattioni to ask about this and express my displeasure. I explained that I fully understand smaller price discrepencies (i.e. 15-25% differences due to cost of labor, overhead, profit, etc) but not a 500% difference. The manager told me that the service professional that they sent out was new to the company and did not know that they weren't supposed to price from the book. This did not make sense to me since this was the material provided by Mattioni to their employees so I pointed that out. The manager appologized to me and told me that they could write me a check (since they had already cashed mine) to reimburse me for the price I should have been charged. I offered to drive to their office to pick up the check and was reimbursed nearly $300 (which dropped the price of refrigerant to only about double the cost of the provider I used to service my unit). As I mentioned in my grading of the service, they have a professional team, they were prompt and the work done was satisfactory. My biggest complaint was that the pricing was ridiculously high and I feel like I was taken advantage of. They did their best to correct the error, even though the cost was still much higher than other HVAC companies after they "corrected" the price, but that has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not choose to use Mattioni again for any services. I am only reviewing this now after 2 years because I was notified when I signed on that other members in my area are requesting more information on this company and I wish I knew this information prior to gonig through the hassle.

They charge for travel time (15 Minutes) about ~$90.00 even if they do the service. I understand that many of their competitors only charge if they do not get the "order". That is fair
