About Us- OUR MISSION At Mattioni Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, our mission is to groom the next generation of technicians by honoring our values of 5-Star customer service and operational excellence. OUR STORY For over seventy years, Mattioni Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc.'s dedicated employees have proudly served the Chester County, Pennsylvania area with their knowledgeable, courteous, and professional service. A.F. Mattioni & Sons Plumbing & Heating was founded on the Mattioni family farm along the (back then) very rural Route 113 outside of Downingtown, PA in 1948. The original barn which housed the company still stands! However, a newer, larger building on the family's property is the current home for the third generation of Mattioni’s to run the service-oriented business, but their commitment to quality has not changed. OUR PROMISE Our promise to you is to continue to grow and modernize so that we can provide you with the best products and services. We will continue to stick to our roots of caring deeply for both our customers and our employees. We promise to live this every day and to continue this legacy.

Unfortunately, due to the size of our company we are unable to come to the home and give free quotes. We do have to cover the cost of our technician coming to your home, diagnosing your particular situation and giving you upfront pricing. Depending on what you wanted done, those monies, may have been applied to the job, however I do not have any other information to go on. FANTASTIC!!!!!
Description of Work: Norm arrived punctually, immediately placed covers on his shoes and came upstairs to check a possibly clogged toilet. He checked water flow and ran sink and tub to check water flow. After doing all his checkes he came to the conclusion that the toilet was not clogged but due to age of toilet needed to be replaced. He did not try to sell me a toilet but instead made recommendations, gave me options and left me with estimates to discuss with my wife. He made this a gratifying experience and never tried to hard sell a product which was appreciated.

Description of Work: Flushed hot water tank. Checked drains and connections under sinks. Turned off water softener because I had an issue with it and he said I needed a new one. Subsequently I contacted my regular plumber. It was turned off incorrectly and was not faulty. Gentleman arrived promptly, was dressed clean and neat and was pleasant. He recommended water alarms which I purchased.

Today's job went well.
Description of Work: We have been using Mattioni for over 20 years. They have consistently been professional and always accommodating. They have given us quotes for many jobs and we have worked out payment schedules and timely completion dates. They care about their customers and it shows. Even upon entering our home, they not only where 'booties' to protect our floors, but they clean up their job site perfectly. Maybe there is a reason why we have stayed with Mattioni for so many years.

Description of Work: Very thorough, very professional.... bathroom remodel. Original bathroom construction was not performed well, Mattioni drew a comprehensive plan and executed it to the tee. Very satisfied.
