Description of Work: Siding was damaged from hurricane sandy. They were hired by us to replace that damage and our aging roof with a brand new roof. | | |They told us we needed to replace the siding before the roof to do it right, then due to scheduling, they insisted on doing the work on the roof first and installed it on a day that was snowy, windy and less than 40 degrees because and did the siding after. | |We had to go around and pick up nails and other debris despite their claims to do it themselves. Roof never seemed right that day but they insisted all would settle ok after the weather got warmer. It did finally start to lay flat when the weather warmed. | |Since then, we have had them out multiple times due to leaks where they worked on replacing the siding and the roof. Leaked in same spots in front and back, ruining our drywall inside the garage and family room, and damaged one of our tables. They refused to pay for or fix any of that damage. Our roof never leaked for 17 years with old roof, but now it does. | |Anyway they just were hard to work with to get them to even acknowledge and attempt to band-aid/fix the issues, and their last attempt was to caulk the heck out of the leak areas with silicone to try and seal the leaks, but that is just temporary. | |We may still have to deal with them if we unfortunately have any other warrantee issues, but we have given up on them for quality support on these leaks and are working to get another contractor to look at the situation and fix it right.

Description of Work: Replace entire roof on house and tool shed with 50yr. shingles, "Deck Armor", "Weather Watch", "Cobra", and "Timbertex" and replaced 4 rotted plywood sheets. They were able to do it all in one day.

Description of Work: G.P. Martini replaced my entire roof. The plywood, shingles and a new skylight. Thw workers show up promptly andwent to work covering my entire deck and the front yard to protect my plants. The workers were courteous and knew exactly what needed to be done. They were able to let me go outside to see the progress and answer any questions that I had. They were finished with everything about 4:00. I thought that was good. Great cleanup job. They even made sure my neighs had no debris on their property. I would recommend them to anyone in my development that needs a reference. I was very pleased wuth the result.

Description of Work: I had a few estimate from different roofers. One of them cancelled my appt. and delayed it from Monday to Friday. I met each of them and found that Gary, the owner of GP Martini is very detail oriented and seems like a very trustworthy guy. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I have had some problems with my roof since I first moved into my new construction house 21 years ago, and I was really nervous that I would come across the same problems in certain spots of my house. Gary was very reassuring and he made sure his team understood my concerns, and took the extra step to reinforce the problem areas to make sure that there will not be any chance the problems will happen again.His entire team and the foreman Craig are very professional, and left my area very clean. the trash company pulled away the trash container as soon as the job was complete, and Gary was right there to make sure there was no nails left after the trash hauler. He seems to strive to provide the best customer service. He is an honest man and keeps his promises. I had my skylight replaced along with the roof replacement, and was surprised to learn from the foreman that the new skylight did not come with a stick to open the skylight, I asked Gary about it, and he said that he would get me one and would not charge me. True to his word, he followed through, and he did so quickly and efficiently. GP Martini uses the GAF HD lifetime shingles and the warranty is also transferable to the new owner. I asked Gary if I have to send paperwork to GAF to make sure i had the warranty, but Gary told me that he would take care of it. A very professional and efficient roofer - I will not hesitate to refer him to my friends and neighbors!

Description of Work: Complete removal of existing roof and replacement of some sheathing. All new shingles, ice & water sheild and new ridge vents. Removed and replaced skylight. Matched and replaced damaged Siding Rebuilt damaged deck and brought up to code. Removed and replaced all gutters and downspouts

Description of Work: G P Martini Roofing Co They put in an entire new roof, some gutter replacements, and repaired of some trim on my house. Did the job in November, it cost about $8000, and insurance took care of most of that.
