The job went very smoothly. The vinyl crew came out first to install vinyl in the laundry and bathroom areas. Due to a little water leakage (not their fault - ours) they couldn't do the bathroom, but came back the next week to finish the vinyl install. Then the carpet crew came out a week later and took two days to prep the floor, which required a little self-leveling concrete in some areas where we had uneven concrete. Everything went very well - and the finished product looks fantastic!

My Dad's Flooring America was very nice. The lady that we had there was phenomenally knowledgeable. She was very helpful and very friendly. We were able to take samples home. They were really wonderful.

We visited the showroom in Douglassville and met Linda who is very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. She was a joy to meet and interact with over the phone. An estimate was scheduled promptly for the next day and the gentleman who came out to do the estimate was punctual and also very knowledgeable. We received the full estimate over the phone just a day or two later. Although we opted to go with another local flooring company I would definitely keep My Dad's Flooring in mind for a future project.

I was able to make an appointment for an estimate within a few days of my call to the office of My Dad's Flooring. Ed Graefe came to do the estimate - he was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had wall to wall carpeting that had stretched and become unsightly in 3 different rooms. He explained what caused the problem, what his company could do to fix it and what to expect in the future. We were also going to have the carpets cleaned (which his company does not do). I had planned on that project for after the stretching but he advised to have the cleaning done first and then the stretching a week or so later as more loosening might occur. We received the quote by e-mail and called to schedule the work. Two employees came on time (always a plus factor) and took almost 4 hours to do the excellent job. All areas look as good as when the carpet was first laid down 10-12 years ago. They also put in new carpet strips in one of the rooms which are of higher quality and better installed then the original. I will definitely contact this company when it is time to get new carpeting. (In case you're wondering what caused the stretching/ridges across the entire room - it was due to the carpet backing wearing out and will likely occur again within a few years and have to be replaced.)

I stopped in at My Dad's Flooring and was immediately greeted by Ed. He asked me what I was looking for and also where I planned on replacing the carpet. He took me over to the samples that he had and showed me which ones would work better for the office and my stairs. He also explained about the types of padding since I had two dogs and which padding would work for them in case of accidents. I was able to take as many samples home as I wanted to choose a color and pattern. I took them home for a few days trying to decide. When I made my decision, I called Ed with the carpet and design. A couple of days later, Brian who is in charge of the carpet laying called me with a quote for everything. I talked this over with my husband and we decided that this was fine with us. They worked with me also because I was having painting done in the office and they said that they would wait until that was finished which was nice that I didn't have to rush. The carpet took about 2 weeks to come in. Brian called me with a date and time. The carpet installer, Kevin Day, arrived right at 9. He said he would be there until about 2. He left at approximately 2:05. He cleaned up and made everything spotless before he left. He also a nice piece of leftover carpeting for our use. Everything about this company was top notch. Any questions I had or any changes that had to be where not a problem since I had to change the installation date and that was no problem whatsoever. I would definitely use them again for any of my flooring needs.

We bought a house and a couple of years after moving in we noticed the upstairs carpet was wrinkling and bunching up especially in front of closet doors to the point we couldn't open or close the doors. We don't know who installed the carpet for the previous owners but we called My Dad's Flooring to see if they could help us out. Brian set up an appointment right away, came out, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He was very prompt and professional. I scheduled the work to be done. The crew also was very prompt and professional. They did a great job of stretching the carpet and it now looks like new. They even gave us some tips on what probably caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. My Dad's Flooring is now the only flooring company I'll use.

This company was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. The saleswoman was very friendly and helpful and followed up with us after leaving the store with several carpet samples. Once we decided on the carpet, which just happened to be on sale at a very great price, they worked with us to accommodate our schedule for installation. We carpeted our 3 bedrooms, hallway and stairs. We chose to move the furniture ourselves, so the work was done in 2 days allowing us to move our furniture between rooms rather than moving it downstairs. The carpet installers showed up on time, worked through lunch, and were very friendly. The saleswoman followed up with us the next day to make sure we were satisfied with the work. This company will definitely get our business again!

Met with sales rep and choose carpet and padding. We were given samples of various carpets to take home and match with paint and furniture. Brian came to our home and took measurements, afterward a detailed estimate was provided. We were also having the same areas painted (by another vendor) so we had to coordinate installation of the carpet after the painting was completed. Brian was very understanding and worked with us to schedule the carpet installation right after painters completed. This was very important for us as we had to move all the furniture from the rooms being painted and carpeted and we didn't want the house in disarray longer than required. Installers arrived at our house as planned and removed the old carpet, repaired some areas of squeaky floors and installed the new padding. The second day they returned as planned and installed the carpet. The installer was professional and did a good job. Larger pieces of extra carpet were left for future use and all old materials were removed by the installer. They did a good job and I will look to use them again when we replace the carpet in other rooms.

I visited the store and had the friendly staff help me pick out a few options. They gave me large carpet samples to take home and try out. We made an appointment for a quote for 2 days later and they came out promptly and had the whole house, both stories, measured and mapped in less than 15 minutes. They called me back within 2 hours and gave me a quote. Once we decided to proceed, I paid 1/2 of the cost and they ordered material which arrived 1 week later. All old carpet was removed from both levels and stairs and new carpet was installed over a 2 day period (~1600 sq feet). The quality of the work was excellent, and they cleaned everything up at the end. This work could not have been performed more efficiently and more professionally.

I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years and found most to be good. I found My Dad's to be exceptional. All of the salespeople with whom I worked were very good at helping with the selection of product and where able to answer all of my 36 million questions :). Brian who manages their installation is also very nice and throughly explains how the installations would be done. I was initially a little concerned that some of the installers are sub-contractors. Brian explained that My Dad's (not the installer) gaurantee all installations for life which made me feel better. He also explained that the way My Dad's handles sub-contractors is different than most store. Instead of bidding each project as most stores do and then going with the lowest price, My Dad's chooses the installer based on the project with out regard for the cost. He told me that 70% of their work comes from repeat customer's and referrals and they figure it is better to spend money on getting the job done right instead of on advertising. Over the past 4 years I have had 5 projects completed and had some different installers perform the work. I can honestly say that they have all been exceptional. I will be using My Dad's again this summer for my next project.

Flooring America did a great job with the installation of both our carpet and laminate flooring. They were prompt in setting up an installation time and came when they said they would. They worked in a timely manner and completed the job on time. The did a great job of cleaning up everything and vacuuming the carpets when they were done.

we had several estimates .[ dads] was the best price. we decided to go with [dads]because of the wonderful sales person at the store. when the installer came to lay the flooring, he was top notch from beginning to end! we love the way it looks.it is durable and so easy to keep clean.

They did a good job. They did the work in a timely matter. I believe that they may have contracted the people out to come and install the rugs though.

OUR VISIT TO THE SHOWROOM WAS BRIEF BUT MORE THAN ADEQUATE TO SELECT ITEMS AND SERVICES. SHOWROOM WAS NEAT AND ORGANIZED. ESTIMATE WAS FAIR AND INSTALLATION WAS PROMPT. OUR ONE ISSUE AFTER INSTALLATION WAS ATTENDED TO QUICKLY.

My experience was very good and I would recommend them to anyone. Their prices are competitive and the installer knew exactly what he was doing. He also helped guide us as to the correct type of carpeting to use for a family with 3 kids.

This is the second time that we have used My Dad's Flooring America. They did such a good job when we had carpeting installed in our daughter's bedroom that they were the only place we went to when we were shopping for carpet for the rest of the house. They were very quick, they cleaned up thoroughly and it looks spectacular. We have gotten many compliments on how it turned out. The carpet we selected was on back order, but it only took two weeks to come in and they had it installed 3 days later.
