A-1 HAULING

Ed kept us informed of his arrival time and was very prompt. He and his assistant Ed did a great job of moving my daughter's furniture from her second story apartment (which was not very easy) to the garage of our house (this part was easy). They were efficient and very pleasant to work with. We were fortunate that my daughter didn't have too much furniture and Ed and Joe were able to move it in less than the 2 hour time frame which was allotted by the fantastic deal offered on Angie's List. Thank you very much!!! We will definitely call Ed in the future if the need arises.

SHOWED UP ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL

Ed is a very friendly and personable guy. He arrived on time and haulled away all sorts of renovation garbage I had set aside from this rehab I'm having done. Before I knew it, he was already done! I was thinking of buying a Bagster Bag that holds 3 cubic yards for $30 plus $109 disposal fee and I would have to load it myself! But with A1 Hauling it was just $99 (Angie's List promotion) for 5 cubic yards. and I didn't even lift a finger! Ed was amazing and I would definitely hire him again, and you should too!!! This is the third time we have used A-1 Hauling in the past month. Each time they adjusted their schedule to meet our schedule. They performed the work we requested efficiently and expeditiously. We have been extremely pleased with their service and expect to use them again in the future.

Went well. Hard work was preformed. I had more stuff than the purchased deal would allow, so A-1 charged me extra. I thought the amount was a fair price, not a steal for me or a rip off. Was happy to have the great service and get the job done.

This was the second time within approximately 2 weeks that we contracted Ed Wilkins of A-1 Hauling. The first time was to remove equipment, etc. for disposal, and we were very satisfied with his work. After this first successful encounter, we felt confident that he and his associate could handle this job which required careful unpacking and handling of heavy, valuable items. We were extremely pleased at their professionalism, courtesy, promptness and cooperation. After the items were unpacked and brought into the house they had to completely dismantle the empty wooden crates for removal to the dump. They then had to cleanup the remains of boxes, pallets, styrofoam, and other packing material which he did extremely well. In addition Ed had to reschedule some of his other customers to meet our change in schedule due to our shippers change in schedule. Ed was extremely accommodating. We were extremely satisfied with the results and will consider using them in the future.

He called me to set up a date and then called me the morning of our scheduled date to confirm. He was punctual, professional and friendly.

They were actually early! Couldn't believe how much stuff they packed into their moving van. Took everything I had, including old paint cans and a sleeper sofa. Nice guys who swept up after themselves! Couldn't asl for a better experience.

Mr. Ed arrived on time with his companion, worked very hard and overall we did not have any problem with him at all. I would have used him again until he billed me for the extra 2.5 hours @ $150/hour (for two persons) That is at least double of what is charged by comparable services. Unfortunately no one from my office had finalized the overage rate and since the service was already delivered, I could not refuse payment. My advise, you may use him but please make sure you confirm the rates for excess hours otherwise the deal wont be much of a deal. When I needed a mover again next week for the remaining stuff, I booked someone else from Angie's list as I did not feel like calling A1 hauling back.

I bought two coupons from this vendor. The hauling was uneventful. However when I ran over my coupon for the moving services by 2.5 hours, I was asked to pay $75/person/hour which was STEEP. Unfortunately no one in my office had negotiated the overage so we had to pay.

Dave is excellent. Responded promptly, set a date within a week. He was pleasant to work with and proceeded in a professional manner. He swept up any area he worked from.

Ed was very professional and is a hard working individual and was terrific to work with. We were pleased with his work and his price. We would have had to pay considerably more to have everything hauled by someone else. We would absolutely use him again and recommend him to other subscribers.

A-1 Hauling does an excellent job! Ed was very responsive and scheduled a time to come out and assess the job and make sure everything fell within the Big Deal. On the haul away day he was prompt, called with any questions, and did a very thorough clean up job. Highly recommended and would use in the future!

I got a little crazy with the Morning Glories this year and with all the rain over the summer my garden looked beautiful. Until it looked like a jungle! Fall cleanup resulted in a pile of waste that was more than I could possibly compost and way more than I wanted to chop into tiny pieces and parcel out for the city workers to pick up over a period of weeks. Especially since it all would have had to be condensed into oversized paper bags and lovingly encased in waterproof tarps up until the precise moment the city decided it was ready to take it. (Or perhaps woven into friendship bracelets....?) This is where Ed and A1 Hauling saved the day for me - I paid a very reasonable fee, and Ed came when he said he would and took that entire pile away! No chopping, dicing, bagging, weaving, pleading. It was simple bliss! I made a pile, he made it disappear! He was pleasant to speak with on the phone and when I got home from work the end of my driveway was cleared and cleaner than it was before I even piled it high with yard waste. Thank you! Will definitely use the service again and highly recommend to anyone who just wants their mess gone. Excellent experience!

Ed was fantastic to work with. He responded quickly and returned all phone calls promptly. Ed arrived on time to the job, and went above and beyond to remove and clean all of the debris from the work site. I would highly recommend A1 Hauling and will most definitely use his services again.

Mr. Wilkins answered our call promptly, he came to the home at a time that was convenient for us, and showed up on time. He helped us save some money by letting us move some of the large pieces of furniture, etc. To the garage area ourselves prior to the day of removal. Did not have to worry about getting rid of chemicals from the garage as they took care of this.
