They did a good job

It turned out great.

Visited our local Lowes, as well as several other sources, and had a couple of contractors come out to give us estimates. The Lowe's price was very good for the entire job, and we got quality Pella windows. The transaction took quite a long time because we qualified for a discount, but the system had trouble crediting it. The sales person had to re-enter the entire order twice. I was waiting more than an hour to get the entire thing right, but we saved several hundred dollars so it was worth it. The installer came out to do a measure. Scheduling was a bit tricky but he arrived on time, and was thorough and professional. It took a few weeks for the windows to arrive, as they were custom sized to fit the existing openings. The installer arrived on time and got to work. He completed the job pretty much when he said he would, and the work was very good. He cleaned up after himself quite thoroughly. We've noticed quite a bit less drafts, and our bills are lower. It was great to have that tax credit also.

Delivery of the new doors was at the time expected and the work was completed as scheduled. The old doors were taken away and the work area was totally cleaned. The shutters were installed correctly. The button on the door bell was damaged but was replaced at no cost to me. The work was done by a subcontractor, Del Becker, and we could not be more satisfied with the work or Mr. Becker. Lowe's contacted me several times before and after the installation to keep me informed and to gauge my satisfaction.

I reported his work under Lowe's but wanted his work to be recognized as well. He was very professional, did excellent work, was on time, completed the work as scheduled and completely clean ed the work site afterwards. He is polite,quiet and friendly.

Superior experience overall. The installer for Lowe's was Pittsburgh Window and Door. I would highly recommend them as well as the installer on our job, Tom Jones. Tom came over twice before the installation, first to take measurements and a second time, after we had finalized the deal, to check on some specific details. The only issue at all was the fact that on the day of the installation, they arrived about 30 minutes later than the stated time, but they did call to say they would be late. Tom and his assistant were meticulous about the installation. When they left, you would have never known anyone had been there, except for our beautiful new door!

The work was done in a very neat and workmanlike manner. The door was carefully aligned. The service technician was courteous and willing to answer questions.

The work was scheduled but could not be performed for a few days. However, the work was completed to my satisfaction. The garage door openers were all programmed for me. The only problem was that the employee left the empty boxes and other trash for me to clean up.

THE SALESMAN DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW A WHOLE LOT ABOUT FIREPLACES. WE CHOSE THIS PARTICULAR ONE BECAUSE THE OTHER PLACES DIDN'T PROVIDE THE STYLE, SIZE & PRICE WE WERE LOOKING FOR. LOWE'S CAME THROUGH.

IT WAS SOMETIMES DIFFICULT TO TALK WITH THE SAME PERSON. REMODELING A KITCHEN ISN'T AN OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE. THE PRICES AT LOWE'S WERE THE BEST. IT TOOK A WHILE FOR ALL THE MATERIALS TO COME IN. THEY OFFERED CONTRACTOR'S REFERRALS AND PROVIDED A GOOD DELIVERY SERVICE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
