Description of Work: Joe was originally hired for drywall work but I had him do plumbing, electrical and additional carpentry work. He did an excellent job in all aspects. I am having him do some additional work for me in other phases of our kitchen remodel. I would recommend him highly. He was very efficient and even our dogs liked him (which says a lot). I wouldn't hesitate to use him for future work

Description of Work: I asked for him to come and give me a price estimate for laminate flooring installation. Overall his professionalism, punctuality, and responsiveness was good but I felt his numbers (price) was way too high in my opinion. It felt almost as if he put some extra unnecessary numbers to fudge the numbers.

Description of Work: We used Joe Gray for a whole home face lift, including drywall, doors, and extensive work in the master bath. Joe was a pleasure to work with through the entire process. He followed through on commitments and always showed up as planned. We were always informed with what was happening and how we were doing on cost. He took great care of our property and did his best not to let the job spill over into the rest of our living space. We highly recommend Joe for your small and medium home improvement jobs!

+ 4 moreIt had come to the point where my 33 yr old rancher home was in bad need of a facelift...new siding...new windows...new doors and new gutters/downspouts, new garage door, etc. I asked my neighbor if he knew of anyone that he could recommend. He told me that he had previusly used the services of Joe Gray Home Improvements and was very satisfied. I gave Joe a call and asked if he would be interested in giving me an estimate to do all the work. He came to my house, looked things over, took measurements and got back to me promptly with an estimate. He answered all my questions in a very knowledgeable and polite manner. I decided to let Joe do the work and I am so glad that I did as the house turned out beautiful! He has excellent work ethics...once he starts the job he sees it through to the end. His workmanship and attention to details are also excellent. He did the exterior work during one of our heat waves and I'm still not sure why he didn't melt in the 100+ degree weather...I certainly would have! One other thing I'd like to point out is that during the several weeks that he was here working on the house, I never heard any foul language...a nice change of pace from what would normally be heard from many workmen these days. If you need any home repairs done, don't hesitate to give him a call. After the exterior work was completed, I had additional interior home improvement work to be done and I called Joe!
Description of Work: Removal of old aluminum siding and installation of new vinyl siding on ranch home. Removal of nine old windows and installation of new vinyl windows. Installations of new gutters/gutter guards and downspouts. Installation of three new exterior doors complete with new locks/doorknobs. Replacement and installation of two new exterior spigots. Installation of new water softener. Installation of new bathroom vanity/sink/faucet with new piping. Installation of new kitchen faucet/piping.

+ 0 moreJoe Gray removed all of our old carpet and padding and replaced with hardwood flooring. The hardwood then had to be sanded and finished. He had Haverly Hardwoods finish the floors. Both gentlemen did an excellent job. They showed up everyday as promised and at the time they stated. They left the place cleaner than when they got here. They were very professional and did an excellent job. Mr. Gray has come back to hang lights and other odds and ends.

+ -1 moreThe gentlemen showed up every day and worked full days until the job was complete. Would most certainly have them perform the work again if needed.
Description of Work: Joe removed carpet and installed hardwood floors in three rooms of our home. He showed up when he said he would and the floors turned out great. He was also our contractor for having the floors stained and finished. He was very professional, polite and the quality of his work was outstanding.
