It went well. They did a good job.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for "$99 for 2 Hours of Audio/Video Installation Services." They ran some electric lines and hung a flat screen above the fireplace.

Perfect & smoothly!
Description of Work: Signature Sound & Video wall-mounted our LED tv in our basement. They were reliable, prompt, friendly, and efficient. They did a great job mounting the tv, hiding any wires, and hooking up our components. They left the space immaculate. We are very pleased and would definitely use them again in the future for any of our audio and home theater needs...perhaps some surround sound speakers??

It went great overall.
Description of Work: Howard installed wall mount for my 60" TV. Service was great and clean work. However he is little expensive than others.

We canceled.
Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for one month out because they were booked. I called the morning they were supposed to come and they had it as a different day in their calendar. So we pushed the installation another 2 weeks. He showed up without the proper supplies so pushed the installation another three weeks out. In addition, upon further research, the deal (mount your tv with flat mount and hide wires) is a total rip off!

This is a 100% misleading review. You called us last week because you had the wrong date, and not only did you have the wrong date but you had the wrong time. you had it that we were supposed to be there at 8:30, We not permitted to work in customers home before 9:00 am due to insurance reasons so not one person in my office would not have scheduled the time before that. We also verified with you on the phone that your home was drywall, when I arrived to complete the installation that we graciously rescheduled due to a mistake on your part at the busiest time of the season I discovered your home was Lathe & Plaster. In these cases we always do a site survey before hand to verify and discuss options as installation techniques are not the same. You were so sure that your home was drywall we took your word and scheduled anyway. I immediatly knew it was lathe & plaster but you had a contractor on site and wanted him to verify and sure enough it was. The deal clearly stated it was for drywall only, lathe & plaster requires special techniques and tools to safely install without damaging the wall and we do not keep these tools on the van due to their cost and the rarity that we run into lathe & plaster We are a premium company that uses premium products, the Big Deal we ran was not a rip off, far from it. We lost a substantial amount of money on each deal we sold, I would be shocked if you could find a company that knew what they were doing especially with lathe & plaster walls that could do it all for less then the big deal. I understood that you wanted to have this done before Christmas, but misleading information on your part caused the confusion, and the reason we didnt have the proper tools on the truck. I even called you back to provide the number of another CI in the area that could possibly do it because you wanted it done before christmas, Evidently you were after the lowest price possible rather then quality. We tried to work this out with you and went above and beyond the call of duty. For you to come on here and post a completely misleading and untrue report is not only unfair but its wrong. You even admitted that you had the date wrong and appreciated that we rescheduled in such a short amount of time in the busiest time of the year.

Description of Work: Took advantage of Angie's List "Big Deal" (for $99, I received 2 hours of audio/video installation services). Workers were prompt and very courteous. I had cable wire exposed from where it entered the room to the other side of the room where the TV was located. SS&V hid the cable wires in the wall, through the ceiling to the other side of the room to the TV. They did an excellent job and just under the 2 hours that I paid for. The only additional charge was $30 for parts (wall plates and connectors) The cleaned up afterwards and I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I signed up for the $99 offer from Angie's List. Excellent service! Brendan was very professional, TV was up on the wall without any problems. THe only thing I would recommend is to use the wall mount provided from Signature. Their wall mount can have fine adjustments made after hanging. The wall mount I purchased at BJ's did not have the option. Definitely recommend for TV and audio work.
