Description of Work: On the day of my scheduled inspection, I learned that the original spot I desired for the install was not feasible as the wall behind plaster was a fire wall. (This could've taken place if I wanted the conduit to appear flush againt my wall). |I was very disappointed at this discovery and no other wall in the room would visually support a television. It was at that time, I discussed with Brendon since I had already paid in full, I would contact him with another room once all rehab work had been done. To date, I have not been able to make contact with him nor his staff. As of this date, I have left more than a dozen calls with no return of funds, compromise or phone call.

Description of Work: We had a Sonos system and outdoor Bose speakers installed. We added to items to the service that went with the Sonos system. The cost of additional items was the same price if bought in the store.

+ -1 moreBrendan was great in responding to all requests and questions. We purchased a Big Deal and he worked with us to make sure he completed our project within the time constraints allowed. Of course we ran into a problem with the installed electric outlet and he went above and beyond by detailing the new spot for the replacment outlet. Also, he included some additional wiring for anticipated upgrades to wiring and system upgrades (surround sound system, etc). He promptly returned calls, showed up ON TIME and was very courteous and professional! Wonderful experience all around!
Description of Work: Signature Sound was terrific. We used them to mount our TV over the fireplace and run wires for box and components through the wall.

+ -1 moreFor starters, the price was amazing. Before signing up for the deal, I priced the speakers and amp. I was unable to find a better price for just the equipment, let alone with installation included. I also checked on reviews for the specific speakers. They had great reviews so I was happy to be getting top notch equipment. When I called Brendon to schedule an appointment, he was very responsive came out within a day or two to review the job. He spent time going over with me the best placement of the speakers outside, how best to run the speaker wire and how to get the wire inside the house to connect the amp. I was very happy with how this first meeting went. When he returned to complete the installation, he took a lot of care to get the speakers level and even. The speaker wire is also just about completely hidden which is very nice. The speakers themselves look great and sound even better. We already had a couple other Sonos speakers inside the house, but not any outside. The speakers are installed under an overhang about 15'x20'. The sound easily fills that space and, if we turn up the volume a bit, can be heard clearly in the yard at least 50-60 feet beyond that. We are very happy with everything.

If you are interested in getting the work done, then do not hire this company.The company's owner, Brendon Ziegenbein is a big talker and NOT a performer (do-er)! As far as I am concerned, talk is cheap! He just talks and does not "walk his talk"
Description of Work: I was not able to redeeming my Big Deal purchase with Signature Sound & Video. Brendon Ziegenbein is probably owner of Signature Sound & Video. It seems he is from out of town and he has shown no interest in “local” projects! Each time I contacted him for my project, he gave me the same song-and-dance about his being engaged in “multi-state projects. Should I be impressed by this? Apparently he thinks so. Well, I was NOT. I tried to schedule my job since May-2012 and did not succeed. Mr. Ziegenbein never responds to phone messages! Only mode of communication with him was via email where he constantly brags about being “out-of-town” and never schedules my job. I could not tell if he was bluffing or if there was some truth to what he was claiming. Regardless of that, he should have been able to schedule my job during a four month period! Finally, after trying for almost four months to schedule my project, I gave up on him and asked Angie’s List for a refund. This part is for Angie's List administration: How am I supposed to enter a service date if the service was not done at all???

+ -1 moreIt was an overall poor experience. He scheduled the appointment a month out because he did not have the band width to do that job. Once we got an appointment scheduled he called the night before my morning appointment to cancel. This was right before the holiday week and he explained that he was starting his vacation. He told me he could recommend people in my area, and I felt that since he was from New Jersey that he wasn't wanting to come to Pennsylvania to do the service. It was poor overall. I feel that he should have restricted the deal if he didn't have the man power to do the work. He never should have allowed the deal to be in Pennsylvania if he wouldn't come out there.
Description of Work: I purchased a $99 big deal for sound/audio installation for 2 hours.

+ -1 moreCustomer service is back! Brendon did a great job talking me through my new sound system, helping me choose the right products, and then executing a qaulity installation. I moved to a Sonos system- which I love as much as Brendon's support! Prior to installtion, his comunication was impectable. During installtion, my computer failed and Brendon spent the time needed to come up with a resolution without hesitation. I value quality customer service and, sadly, rarely find it. I couldn't put a price tag on the service I had today. Also, as a woman, it can be uncomfortable to have someone performing and all-day installation. Not the case here - Brendon is a personable person who I found very relatable and trustworthy. I am inclined to work with Brendon to expand my system based on my initial experience today. Sheila

+ -1 moreBrendon removed my out dated monster Sony TV and installed our new Samsung HDTV without any difficulty. He also hooked up our cable box and antiquated DVD/VCR player. Programmed the remote and offered to remove the empty cartons for me.
Description of Work: Excellent, prompt service. Very neat in work and appearance and very helpful to remove old TV and boxes if necessary. Well versed in setting up older equipment with new technology. Would highly recommend and use again. Brendon is a friendly and courteous businessman.
