Signature Sound & Video

We called Brendan approximately 4 weeks ago to program a remote control. He came by the house right away and told us he'd be back a week later. I've called and emailed him several times with 0 response. At this point I am not interested in working with him. This is a neighborhood filled with customers with home theaters and it's bad business to ignore customers. There are other options out there and it's incomprehensible that vendors are not responsive.

The guys arrived on time, explained the whole process of the installation. The job took a couple hours to install the nose speakers and run the speaker wire and install the Sonos connect Amp. The job was then done and the system tested. The guys were professional through the whole process. The system sounds great. The music is played through the Sonos app. I can now sit back and relax on my deck and enjoy some good music. Had a couple cookouts and everyone raved at how it sounds good. Glad I got the deal.

Brendon showed up on time, was very professional, and completed all the services he had quoted with no additional or hidden costs despite some unforeseen issues. He and his brother did a great job mounting my tv above the fireplace while concealing all wires in the built in cabinets. I would definitely recommend Brendon for any tv and/or home theater installation.

It is rare to find a service provider like Signature Sound & Video. From the very first contact with Brendon, his responsiveness and professionalism was immediately apparent. We arranged a time for Brendon to come out to look at our home and assess what we needed, and within 2-3 days, he had emailed me a proposal. We then met in person to go through the proposal which we modified slightly and then finalized it. At that time, I provided a deposit to Brendon and he ordered the equipment. The installation occurred yesterday and it went exactly as Brendon had indicated it would. The job was completed in one day and everything looks fantastic--better than I could have hoped. And, when Brendon and his colleague were finished, they cleaned up so completely that you would never have known they were there. All in all, it was a terrific experience. Brendon is a delightful young entrepreneur and works hard to please. When we would agree to meet at 5:00, he was there waiting for me. He is a true rarity and I would highly recommend him for your home audio/video needs. You won't be disappointed.

Contacted provider via email detailing the work we were looking to have completed. Brendon immediately called and wanted to meet an hour later. It wasn't convenient, but we honored his last minute request. Brendon said he would get us the estimate in a few days. After a week, we had the other three contractors' estimates, but not Brendon's. To be fair to him, we waited a week past when he said he would get us the estimate and also sent him two follow-up emails inquiring about the estimate. Never heard from him again. It looks like Brendon does a lot of tv hanging, so perhaps the scope of our job was too large for him to handle. Regardless, we would have expected at least the courtesy of response that he did not want to bid on the job, instead of leaving us waiting on him. We've engaged another provider and are happy with them thus far. It looks like unresponsiveness is not an uncommon complaint here on AL for this provider. If only Brendon was able to find the same amount of time he takes to personally refute every negative AL review and was responsive and respectful of potential clients' time...

Brendon and his team are remarkably professional. They were flexible with scheduling, arrived on time, worked efficiently with minimal disruption (if, like me, you work from home on days that service-people come), and were happy to assist with lots of 'extras'. For example, once the WIFI was fully installed, I asked if they could help me get music off of an old Ipod so it could be accessible through SONOS controlled by a newer IPhone - they spent an extra hour assisting me with this at no extra charge. Additionally, when the network went down (through no fault of theirs - rather due to Comcast issues it turned out), Brendon was very responsive to emails and even came to our home on a Saturday to try to trouble-shoot (again, the problem turned out to be a Comcast issue, not due to any errors in installing their network). The other big plus is that there are often several different options with these networks, and Brendon was very forthright in guiding us on the really important options and, more commonly, the ones we really wouldn't benefit enough from to justify the cost. We've been very pleased with the results, and will certainly use them again for our wireless technology needs.

We are sitting on our deck a lot, and for music we have so far used a Jambox. It does the job, but is not great for this. So when Brendon's company, Signature Sound & Vision listed their Big Deal on Angie's List, we were very interested. The offer was a set of Bose outdoor speakers (151SE), a Sonos amplifier (Connect:amp) and installation. We have a few Sonos zones in the house and we very much enjoy the ease of use and great sound of this system. Extending this to the deck sounded just like a great idea. I did some research on the speakers and read mixed reviews, the next model up, Bose 251SE is supposed to be much better. So I emailed Brendon, telling him that I'm very interested in his Big Deal, but if we could upgrade the speakers. He responded immediately and exchanging the speakers was no problem, I would just pay the difference. Brendon came out a few days after we bought the Big Deal and had a look at our deck and recommended where to put the speakers, which color, where the amplifier would go etc. All in all I think it was not a very difficult job. We then scheduled an appointment for the installation itself. Brendon and his colleague were on time and did a quick and clean job. You don't see any cables anywhere, neither inside nor outside, all is nicely covered. They set up my wife's iPad and explained the new zone, and everything was done after 2 hours. We can highly recommend Brendon and his Signature Sound & Vision company. If we ever fall for surround sound in our family room, or something along these lines, I know where to go.

The work was completed across two days because of heavy rainstorms outside. The team was great, professional, ontime, and great at explaining the work to be performed. We are now enjoying music indoor and outdoor, which has been fantastic.

Brenden is very professional, timely and honest. I would not hesitate to contact Signature Video again. We love our outside music! Bring on summer!

These guys were great! Brendan was super professional and got right down to business. He was super knowledgable about what is code surrounding the installation/mounting of my TVs and made sure the electrical was in order as well. They even helped me out with my sound system and were nice enough to help me move around some furniture as well. By far the best contractor I have ever used! If you want your TV/Sound system installation done right make sure you call Brendan. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Brendan was very professional and knowledgeable and did a great job. Our new wireless system and universal remote work well, and he was kind enough to remain available after installation to answer our many questions about using the new system. He even offered to drive 40 minutes each way on a Sunday to walk us through our questions us in person. Brendan and his partner were the ones who actually did the work and are a great team. Top level service. Their prices are very fair. Before calling Signature Sound we received a quote for double. A+

Signature Sound & Video. One word... AMAZING... Brendon and his team was amazing. On time, took time to explain everything conerning my tv's, from how to mount and remove tv if need be and speaker options. They programmed everything for all three tv's. This is hands down the best experience i've had with a contractor. Job well done Brendon.

Customer service was truly top notch! Brendon first came out to the house while our kitchen/foyer/dining room renovation was underway to assess our home audio needs. I knew I wanted music throughout the house, but wasn't sure how that could be accomplished. Brendon is extremely knowledgeable and excellent at explaining the options without confusing technical jargon. He suggested the perfect speaker quantities, sizes, and locations ... and his attention to detail during the installation was very impressive. More specifically, he made recommendations on in-ceiling speaker placement in the high traffic kitchen/foyer area that I am so thankful for!!! The sound quality and distribution far exceeds my expectations! Over a three month period, Brendon was out to the house 5 or 6 times ? every time being ultra polite and approachable. Early on while I was still trying to make decisions, Brendon made a special trip to drop off a test speaker so that I could get an idea of size and location. He left the speaker with me for two weeks ? and this was before I even committed! Superb customer service. In addition to the Sonos system, Brendon also designed a solution that has significantly extended the Wifi reach throughout our 1732 stone farmhouse, addition, and detached apartment unit! We could not be happier with the final result. It did not take long to realize that I was very capable hands with Brendon and his team. If you've ever done a large renovation you know that you cannot always say this about the contractors involved. Without a doubt, I would use Signature Sound & Video again ? in a heartbeat. Brendon and his partner did an excellent job with the mounting and installation of our basement television. They came on time, were professional, pleasant and did a flawless installation! My husband and I were amazed at how great the job turned out. The television is up, all of our audio equipment is connected and best of all there are no wires to be seen!!! Thank you for the great work Signature Sound and Video! We will be sure to use you again!

The installation was flawless. Brendon and his team were professional, clean, prompt and all of the equipment functioned as discussed. Brendon reviewed everything with me and the sound system installed sounds better than it ever did. I would highly recommend Signature Sound and Video to anyone looking for a quality installation with high end quality hardware.

Everything went well, but unfortunately our TV needed to be mounted on a fireplace and it required masonry work. The masonry job was too expensive for us and we did not need TV mounting and concealment for any other room.

Those guys were great. We added a couple of things on. They were very responsive and they did a nice job. Everything worked out fine. We are going to use them again for something else.

Installation went smoothly...took about an hour and a half. System performs as expected and we couldn't be happier with the sound quality and choices for music since we're streaming it from the internet.The guy completely explained how to use it and assisted me in setting up all my wireless devices. I would definitely recommend the company and will call them in the future if I ever have an issue or want to upgrade the system by adding to it. The guy left his number if I ever have a question or problem. The only hiccup during installation was that the carpet in my en got tore up a bit because a drill bit got wrapped in it when they were running the outdoor speaker wires, but we were replacing the carpet eventually anyway and it was a small spot behind our couch. I told him not to worry even though he offered to replace it and the base board....very professional.

Brendon performed an initial on-site consultation to ensure the system could be installed and to find out what i wanted to get out of the Sonos audio system experience. He recommended the three free standing speakers instead of having 2 speakers installed in the wall of one room. Before the installation, Brendon made sure my computer software version was up to date so there were no delays encountered during the installation. On the day of installation, Brendon arrived on time and was done in less than one hour. I am thrilled with the sound quality and versatility of the system and that it is so easy to operate. I used it almost every day, thanks Brendon!

I can not say enough good things about Brendon and his team. His company is TOP NOTCH through and through. The level of professionalism Brendon provided throughout the installation was nothing short of exemplary. He has a fantastic personality and disposition to him that makes it very comfortable for me as the customer to approach him with thoughts, questions, and ideas that I had throughout the project. His follow through on his proposal was exactly how he stated it would be so he absolutely talked the talk and could walk the walk. He recommended superior product than the competition (For example, he was able to provide Episode speakers, and they only sell through specific dealers and his company qualified to be one). Bottom line, I can not recommend him and his services enough. For prospective clients, PLEASE look past these ridiculous negative reviews that rate him lower because he did not email back in 5 minutes and return a phone call in 24 hours. Brendon is a young entrepeneur who goes above and beyond for his customers. Unfortunately, he is not commercial like a Best Buy where he has a support team to address and respond to every request in 5 seconds. The service and professionalism he displays on the job is what counts the most and he delivers in EVERY aspect. I can not encourage you enough to give Brendon a shot and I have no problem being a reference to discuss further if need be. Ramsey

I contacted Signature to inquire about/get an estimate for installation of speakers and/or surround sound in our living room stereo/TV system. I spoke with Brendan on the phone and he was courteous and we set up an appointment for him to come to my house. He came on March 7, 2013. He was on time, pleasant, courteous and professional, and he discussed several possible configurations with my husband and I, including just installing/mounting 2 speakers we already purchased, as well as upgrading to a surround sound system, which would have included upgrading our receiver and purchasing additional speakers. Brendan was to get back to us with an estimate to include a couple different options. However, I never heard back from him. I followed up with him by email on April 2 and April 10, but got no response, so I gave up. Even though I liked my initial encounter with Brendan, I'm not particularly interested in doing business with someone who doesn't want to do business with me. Moreover, although I know this wasn't a particularly large job - I was upfront about this in our initial phone conversation - and moreover, if that was the issue with the job, I would have appreciated at least a response from the company.
