Richard Noll Painting and Handyman Services

Richard's men were buddies who were looking to earn a few extra dollars. The job required moving a lot of dirt, and it was hard work. The men tired easily, and took cigarette breaks just about every hour. Richard himself did a good job, and he has a great eye for grading, so I was glad for that in the end.

All went as I expected, no surprises

He stopped by at my place to give me an estimate for laminate flooring. I have already had vapor barrier and laminate purchased from store and he gave me installation price. I was happy with the price. On the installation day, I gave him the keys and stopped by at lunch time, he was doing the work and was almost half way through it. when i came back the job was done. I was happy with the price, the job the he performed. I would get this guys for my day-to-day type of work as he's tell you if he can do it or not and if he does it, then you probably won't have worry about job.

Mr. Noll is one of the most helpful and professional individuals I have come across. No task is too small or too complicated for him. He is intelligent, diligent and very trust worthy. I will most certainly use his services in the future. He does excellent work at a reasonable price.

Neither Richard Noll, nor Belle's called me back. I had the work done very satisfactorily by a handyman advertising in my local "merchandiser".

Richard is very prompt, conscientious and courteous. He does great work at a very competitive price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and definitely plan to have him back for other work in the future.

Richard is very professional in his work and will do only the things he is skilled to do which I great appreciate. He cleans up after his work and is easy to communicate with.

Richard showed up promptly at the promised time and got right to work with redoing our porch. About an hour or so into the job, some rain came along and made completing the work impossible for the day -- he was out the very next morning to finish the job. Porch looks good as new! We've got a few more tasks around the house that need doing and we'll definitely be giving Richard a call to help us out some more.

Richard came out to give me an estimate on installing a new vanity in our master bathroom. He came to the house and told me it was a straight forward job and would take an hour to complete, and he gave me an estimate of $75 for the one hour or work. He also said that he would pick up the supply pipes and the drain kits. He arrived on time to complete the work. However, the project wound up taking a lot longer than he had anticipated. He did not pick up the supply pipes and drain kits, and so he needed to run to Lowe's to get them. He did tell me that time would be off the clock, but it did add time to the project, which all said and done took about 4 1/2 hours. I am completely aware that some things don't always go as well as originally estimated, so I had allowed 3 hours for this to be completed, just in case it took longer, and had a meeting scheduled for 4 hours after his start time. I had to cancel my meeting that I had to accommodate this. 4 1/2 hours when I was quoted one was unacceptable to me. The vanity was installed well. My only complaint on the final result is he used a dark grout to seal the sides and the back splash, which I am not fond of. He did not ask me what color I would like for the grout. When I told him about my concerns on the time, he kept saying he wanted to make sure it was done right. He did put a lot of thought and planning into making sure it was done well, and I did appreciate that, but he knew exactly what the project entailed when he came for an estimate, and I wish he was more accurate in his time estimate.

MARCH 2015: Richard was great we hired him again and we got stellar results and work guarantee as usual and he even threw in a little bit extra I've officially put him in all 3 of my leases as the handyman of choice for any issue on the property June 2013: I called three or four service providers on Angie's list based on reviews, Richard was prompt and pleasant with getting back to me. We arranged a time for him to see the place, I sent him a list of code violations and loose end handy-work that needed to be done and he got on the job right away creating an estimate. It took a titch longer than I thought it would, as he was fitting my work in with other scheduled jobs, but i was not displeased by this. I was on a move in pending inspection, and he was accommodating all the way around. He built inexpensive and functional radiator covers after we brainstormed about the materials. He noted little things that were broken (like a GFI that the code inspector missed) and fixed them, he reset door my tenants removed and could not remount properly, removed an old shower door railing, built and installed new guard rails, he even alerted me that the basement was taking on a bit of water after a storm. Richard was great. I was able to organize everything over the phone and via email since I work out of town during the week. I was able to pay in 3 payments based on progress via online bill payment. We never met, but I was able to trust him to get the work done. He was not harping on payment, I almost had to beg him to allow me to send him the first check! He provided me with copies of receipts for materials as well as revised estimates when i added things on to the list. He was very professional and kept in constant contact about progress.

We made an appointment for him to give an estimate and he never came and never called.

Called this number on 5/13/13 and left a message regarding a small repair to a dishwasher. The call was never returned.

He came the first day and redid the spackling on the living room ceiling. The second day he sanded the ceiling and walls so I could paint them at a later date. He did a nice job.

He was professional, reasonable and did excellent work! He only changed us for the parts he used, and the work he did. No travel time or shopping time.

Richard responded to my call immediately and visited our home with in two days to give us the estimate. He was very professional and completed the work up to my satisfaction. He clearly explained on what needs to be done, estimate and the time to complete the work. I will definitely use his services again.

Richard was very pleasant to work with and completed the job to my complete satisfaction. He was very responsive and was able to schedule me at a very convenient time and date. My kitchen ceiling had extensive water damage from a leak in the bathroom right above it. Richard tore away some bits of the really damaged original ceiling before putting up new tiles and lighting to make it look brand new. He covered everything with plastic tarps and kept dust and mess to a bare minimum. Prior to leaving, Richard cleaned the work area thoroughly. I highly recommend Richard and the caliber of work he does.

Richard was professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and did great work for us! He was able to come out to our home to complete the free estimate very shortly after we first spoke with him on the phone.His experience was clear as he thoughtfully considered the projects that we discussed and provided recommendations regarding the best approach. Richard?s consultative approach immediately put us at ease. The estimate was very clear, and upon approval, the work was immediately started. He was in and out of our home in a day and exceeded our expectations. His work was excellent and he cleaned up after himself. We would highly recommend Richard and will definitely use his services again in the future.

Richard came to my house on Friday, March 8th to see what the job includes and to give me an estimate. He said that he would email me the estimate by that Sunday. I never received any estimate and he never contacted me. As of March 25th, I have not heard from him. Very unprofessional. At this point, I don't want to here from him. I got someone else to do the job!

Job went very well. Rich was did a very good job. He was neat and professional.

He got back to me very quickly, came within 24 hours, and did what we needed done. Also, seemed ike a really nice man

Mr. Noll provided a estimate and scheduled the work in the same week. His estimate was accurate and he did great work. I would use him again.

This property is now a rental property and Mr. Noll worked with the property management company to coordinate an estimate and do the work. All went well and the property manager reported that he did a really great job. Mr. Noll's estimate was half of the estimate that the property management company was trying to charge! This review is kind of late but I can vouch for the work now and the rooms look great!

He did a good job and it was a good value. He was punctual and I was very satisfied overall with what he did.

After a poor property management and tenant experience, we decided we would put the house on the market in the new year. We called Mr. Noll to come do some work on the house. It was during the holiday season but Mr. Noll was available and came to do the work the same day that I called. He really put us at ease and we made the best out of a bad situation. As we went through showing him what things we wanted done, he reassured us that everything was a quick fix. We weren't even planning to have him do work in the basement but we ended up down there and added more things to the estimate. As we were showing him the basement bathroom (we never used when living in the house) he noticed the florescent lights were out and asked if that was something we might want. I appreciate him offering as it didn't occur to me that he would change out bulbs for us! He saw my husband's father having difficulty caulking the bottom seal of backsplash tile in the kitchen and offered to use some grout he had on hand. All of this got added to the estimate which he reassured us would be reasonable. Mr. Noll's original estimate was $620 ish? but then he ran into some problems in the basement bathroom (previous water damage prior to us owning the property). The wall repair was difficult because the wall fell away. Instead of leaving it, he did the job right. We trust his assessment and feel strongly that he will leave any project better than it was before. We do not live in the area and provided Mr. Noll with a key so that he could finish the work after we left. He performed the work and returned the key to our friend as he was instructed. During the time that Mr. Noll was in the property, he notified us via email that the pilot light for our gas heat was not staying on. Very important for December/January weather. This is the 3rd time we have used his services and we are appreciative that there are still honest and hard working people out there. He knows his limitations and will tell you so. For instance, he replaced cracked tiles in our fireplace hearth but refused the small tile job we needed in our upstairs bath. Our close friend walked through the house and vouches for his work and plans to use him to get some work done around their own house. All in all, Mr. Noll is an upstanding citizen and a great handyman. Did I mention he worked through the new year? I would recommend him without hesitation.
