I will use him again for any electric work I have and will try his company for HVAC needs as well. Reasonable price and saved me money by suggesting a better solution to the problem at hand.
Description of Work: Provided and installed manual connect/disconnect safety switch and outside hook-up for emergency electrical generator use. This is in place of a power transfer box and allows all of the house circuits to be run by the generator while disconnecting the house from external line power in conformity with national electric code.

He worked efficiently, did a great job (with an accent on getting the details right), and cleaned up so well that you wouldn't know any work had been done in each location in the house. He was friendly. We plan to have him do work for us in the future. WE CERTAINLY RECOMMEND HIM AS A FINE ELECTRICIAN.

+ -1 moreEven though we had less than a week before the delivery of the new stove, KB Electric was able to fit us into their schedule to take care of our electric issue in time for the delivery people to come and install the new range. Though they originally planned to come on Monday afternoon, the job before ours was more serious than they expected, thus I do not fault them for having to re-schedule, but rather applaud them for spending whatever time was needed to get the job done properly. Though it took a few phone calls, as I needed to wait to find out the window when the new range would be installed, Bill from KB Electric was very understanding and gave me his number to call him later that evening to schedule the best time for him to get the job done before the new range is installed. Fortunately, I was able to get back with Bill earlier than I had planned, and we arranged for him to come the next morning as the new range was scheduled to arrive as early as noon. Bill came on time, and was very friendly, professional, and thorough, and the final price was just what he estimated. When I mentioned future work we would eventually like to get done, he was happy to give us an estimate for the work, and did not leave us rushed to get it done quickly, but understood, that it would take some time to get to it, and assured us that when we were ready, they would be there to take care of it. I was very pleased with his work, and would definitely recommend KB Electric LLC to anyone. When I was initially searching for an electrician, I was a little concerned that whichever electrician we were considering might think our job was too small, and would want other work to justify their time. But, from the start, KB Electric left me with the feeling that no job was too small, and they were dedicated to take care of our electric job on time.
Description of Work: Our existing electric range had stopped working, and when after we purchased a new one, we came home to verify how it was installed. We were hoping that it have been plugged into a 200 outlet, as per code, since we had purchased the home with new appliances after the new code went into effect. However, to our dismay, the existing range was hardwired, and as the delivery people are not permitted to disconnect a hardwired appliance, we were left scrambling to find an electrician within a week.
