Description of Work: This is an update to my last posted review. After posting the review, Denis called me and apologized profusely. I accepted his apology and asked him to submit a bid. Although I ultimately selected someone else, I thought it was important for me to write this.

Description of Work: I spoke to him once. He has supposed to provide me with an estimate but failed to do so.

Description of Work: They pointed the brick on my three-story twin house and garage. The quality of their work is exceptional! They cleaned up after themselves every day. They left my home looking as nice as when they first arrived. They were careful with the shrubbery. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting brick or stone pointing done. This is all they do, and it shows. Denis is a credit to his trade. Excellent, excellent, excellent !!!

Description of Work: Re-pointed a brick chimney; it appears to have gone well; he took photos to show me the finished work. He offered helpful information about the chimney flashing; he noticed the need for a taller flue pipe and "threw it in" while doing the re-pointing.

Description of Work: They did pointing and reinforced the joint between the stone and brick walls. They did a great job considering it was the hottest day of the week. They worked the full day, cleaned up the work area pretty well and even checked my roof for defects. Denis took photos of the roof and made suggestions for maintenance. |I am a happy customer! I recommend Denis Dougherty and will use his services again!

Description of Work: We had an area with two windows that we were making smaller. My husband was putting in the new window, but we needed a mason to brick up the other part of the opening. We called many masons and Denis Dougherty ( owner) is the only one who got back to is with an estimate in a timely manner. We emailed him pictures of the area and the measurements. Denis responded immediately to my husband and we had him come out on Monday July 7, 2014. Denis had two workers Mark and Greg. Mark did the bulk of the masonry work and did a fantabulous job. Mark and Greg worked very efficiently together. It was a one full 9 hour job and they set up, worked and cleaned up. Denis called in the morning to double check our brick choice when our original choice was out of stock. We would highly recommend Denis Mark and Greg.
