I asked the company to come out to give me an estimate to repair my roof. Tom came out to evaluate and then called me later to talk about repairing now and eventually replacing the roof later, He verbally gave me an estimate for both an asphalt and a cedar roof. I confirmed that I would like to proceed with the repairs now on a per hour basis to replace the damaged shingles on my roof after Sandy. I never heard from them again. I called 4 times over the next month with no answer. I spoke to the secretary who assured me I would get a call back with no result. I called a fifth time and finally spoke to Tom who said he didn't realize I wanted the work done. He said he would come the next Saturday and call the day before. That was 2 weeks ago and I have not heard back from them. I will move on to someone who is more responsive.

I haven't had any problems with my roof since they put it on. They cleaned up after themselves too. They were a few minor issues that they took care of.

Had a very good experience overall. Came out to repair my roof and had a small problem after the repair was complete, but they came out and fixed it right away.

We have used Lyons Roofing since they started out in business as they were recommended by a friend. We have since used them to do my Mom's roof and most recently my Mother-in-law's roof as described in the above notes. I had also recommended them to my Mom's neighbor. In all cases their work was excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants their roof repaired or replaced.

In march 2010, I discovered a leaky pipe collar and leaky skylights. Lyons came out and "mucked and taped" around everything. They siliconed the skylights. This temporarily stopped the leaking. 1 year later the skylights started leaking again. They found that they siliconed a wet window the first time, so water was still seeping into my roof, slowly destroying the interior of my ceiling. Also, the original leaky pipe collar started leaking again. They gave me a quote for the skylights and all pipe collars to be replaced. I called and told them to go ahead, order the skylights and do the job. I called once a week for 4 weeks and sent numerous emails. Every time the secretary told me that the quote was on Tom Lyon's desk and the he would call me back. No one returned my call for 1 1/2 months. The work was never performed. Thanks for wasting my time and allowing further damage to be done to my house. A simple phone call telling me that you cannot do the work would have been nice so I could have moved on earlier.

I was recommended to them by one of my neighbors who had them do a roofing job for him and it came out well. I looked up on Angie’s List and they provided good work. The cost was close to the written estimate. They called me up in advance when there were any additional charges just for my permission. They did very good work. They did fairly quick work but it was also a thorough job. They also came to inspect once after it rained to see if everything was fine. They were very competitive in price and they called me back. They were punctual and they actually came early.

We initially requested to have replacement gutters & new gutter installed on the roof over the garage. In addition to roof repair. We confirmed by phone to adjust our request to get the gutters cleaned but still install the gutter over the back of the house. The work was completed that day. The bill was adjusted & it was a great price.

The roof and siding were damaged during a storm when limbs from the neighbor's trees broke off and hit the house. I called several companies, but most were busy with calls from other people in the area. I gave Lyons a call and Tom, the owner, quickly responded and came out to talk to me about the repairs. A couple weeks later they began the work, which took them 2-3 days total. They have their own dump trucks, so they don't leave a giant trash bin in your driveway, which was nice. The new roof and siding looks great and haven't had any troubles so far, 1 year out.

Very professional. Would hire these guys again if needed for other projects. Installed new roof/repaired gutters and re-installed a few windows that were installed by previous owner of the house. Lyons was respectful of the house, curteous workers and quality performance.

Damage was result of hail storm last summer. Received 3 estimates for work. Lyons was by-far the most comprehensive and the estimate was fair. Tom came out to meet with us before, during and after the job was complete. The work was completed quickly and as scheduled despite the heat. The job was extremely clean with no debris left behind. We are completely satisfied and will use Lyons again in the future.

I thought the guy was pretty honest and also gave a good repair idea. I thought that he analyzed the situation as a repair rather than turning it into a replacement or something like that. He told me how much it would cost. I will try this company in the future.

Would recommend using Lyon's to anyone requiring these services.

Mr. Lyons and his men arrived while I was at work, completed the roofing job and clean up afterward. When the windows were completed he called and his men came the next day and installed the windows. They again clean up after themselves.
