+ -1 moreMr. Lyons met my wife and I at the appointed time and explained what needed to be done and what issues had caused our problems. He was extremely patient and painfully honest in his assessment of the needs of the property. His estimate to have the work completed was fair, compared to other firms that we had contacted. We did not use Lyons Roofing however as we sold the property "as is".

+ -1 moreThe price for roof replacement was very reasonable, and even more so when considering the excellent job they did. I have had no problems at all with their work. My roof looks as good as the day they installed it. They are a very reliable, professional company and I would definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: I live in a planned community. Lyons did an outstanding job replacing all the roofs on more than 50 homes. They also installed gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, flashing (and replaced skylights on some of the homes). The flashing installer was a perfectionist and did a beautiful job. The owner was on site often and answered questions and was always responsive. Roof removal was done with care. They covered all the plants with giant tarps before they removed the shingles, and they cleaned up as thoroughly as possible. They were very committed to completing the work as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. Lyons responded quickly to any requests from the homeowners after work was completed.

+ 0 moreWe followed his advice and the house looks great and not like all the other colonials in our area. Lyons Roofing left my property totally cleaned up-no pieces of our old siding or roofing shingles around our property at all. Came back several times to tweak a joint that wasn't quite right and got it perfect. Would recommend him highly-that's how I found him: through word of mouth praise from some friends.

+ -1 moreWayne was polite and friendly. He apologized for not determining the cause of the leak the first time. Their work was neat and clean. The cost charged was very reasonable.
Description of Work: Lyons Roofing, (Wayne and his crew) came back and determined that the leak in the roof originated from a bad collar around 4" vent line. They removed the small area of affected roof including plywood and repaired roof and installed a new collar.

+ -1 moreVery friendly initial consultation. Sent crew to job in a timely fashion, however the initial repair failed to fix the leak. Repair crew returned to do additional repair which was also unsuccessful in stopping the leak. I phoned the company at least 8 times, leaving multiple messages requesting a call-back, without success. When I was finally able to speak to a live person in the office, I was assured that a representative would get back to me. That never occurred. Based on my experience, I could not recommend this company to anyone.

+ -1 moreHe has also done roofs for some of my clients. The quality of his work is very good. Tom started on time, finished on time and cleaned up well. I have never had a call back from any of my renters regarding the roof. I would recommend him to anybody.

+ -1 moreThey were very good, we had no complaints. They came out right away for an estimate and coordinated with the insurance company very well. We have been satisfied with the quality of the roof. They gave us premium shingles and they did a fantastic job. They did the job quickly and were prompt.
Description of Work: He installed a new roof on our house. The roof had been damaged by the hurricane. The insurance company came out with Lyons to evaluate everything so the insurance company covered part of the cost. Their prices were fair. Once they removed the roof they discovered part of the wood underneath had to be replaced due to the damage. All the work was done correctly.

+ 1 moreTom is great to work with. He is prompt, to the point and gets the job done. Tom is very courteous and I like him a lot. When he tore the old roof of we did not know what we were going to find. He had to put 13 sheets of sheaving on because the old roof was rotten. I would highly recommend Tom.
Description of Work: We have used Lyons Roofing three times. Tom installed a whole new roof, siding on the entire exterior of the house and twenty one windows.

Because we were getting our stucco house repainted, we had Lyons come in and replace the old soffit that had blown off from previous wind storms. They did a great job and the price was just right. They men were very professional and friendly. Great job guys!!

Their office left us a message the night before they were to start work, and called me with questions the morning of the service call. Tom Lyons came out personally to walk us through the work done. I would hire Lyons Roofing again.

+ -1 morePlaced 4 calls to attempt to get an estimate. First call was told they would arrive later that day. I left my job to be able to meet with them but no one came or called. When I reached them the next day I was told they were really busy but would definitely come that day. Again, no show and no call. Left 2 messages regarding no shows, no return calls but someone finally arrived 4 days later to provide estimate but by then I had already hired another company. I would never use or recommend this company. Absolutely no regard for my time.
