Bob The Handyman

Description of Work: Bob is an amazing handyman. He is on time and does an excellent job. I trust Bob and have tons more work for him. He was a GREAT FIND!!!

Description of Work: He called quickly. Arranged a date & time convenient for me. Arrived on time. Stayed till finished. Job was professionally completed to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: We hired Bob to install/replace a back door in our home. We knew the job would be a challenge due to the non-standard size. Bob did our estimate, measured for the door, ordered our custom door and when it arrived he and another worker came and installed it. Unfortunately, the measurements he took were off and the door did not fit as expected. Being that it was a custom, non-refundable purchase he had to "make it work". This made me very angry at first but he was truly dedicated to making sure it fit properly. In the end it looked good and fits well. I would consider calling him again for other work because his work was good, I just didn't like the route we took to get there.

Description of Work: Bob has done a great deal of work at my lake cottage. I have been pleased with the results of everything he has done. Best of all, unlike most other workmen that I have dealt with, he comes when he says he is coming and does the work just as |promised. A reliable workman is a rarity so I don't hesitate to recommend him.

Description of Work: We inquired about a price quote for some trim work on our door. He would not give me an estimate for the work because he said he charges by the hour and it just depends on how long it takes. I asked what his hourly rate was and he told me that he couldn't tell me until after the work was done. I also inquired about hardwood flooring installation and he told me that I didn't need hardwood flooring and that he could just install peel and stick tile. That is not what I needed at all and I did not choose to go with him for the work.

Description of Work: Fantastic job! Fast, reliable, reasonable - a breath of fresh air! Will definitely use again. (Bob fixed our bathroom door that needed to be rehung.)

Description of Work: what a find....he install 3 basement windows for us. great job...takes pride in what he does...wants it done as if he was doing it on his own house. i'm using him for two other jobs in the next 2 months....installing railing and columns on a new concrete porch and siding of the whole house including window trim and soffit. once again call him.

Description of Work: I called in Bob the Handyman after finding him on Angie's list in order to get a few projects completed or done from scratch. Unfortunately, other crisis intervened and I could not commission the work at the time i spoke to him.

Description of Work: Bob did an excellent job changing my foundations looks by adding masonry veneer stone work. He was prompt, professional, reliable,and brought to the table many good ideas that that I hadn't thought of. He was reasonable, meticulous and cleaned up extremely well when he was done. Bob has a great visionary mind when working with stone and carpentry and all aspects of home repair and maintenance. I wouldn't be afraid to ask him to tackle any job that I may need done to our home. I consider him the "JACK" of all trades.

Description of Work: Bob cleaned and reglued loose tiling around the bathtub that was causing water to leak into the basement. He then recaulked most of the surrounding bathtub seams. He also repaired two pipes in the basement that were leaking at the joints; he replaced the necessary parts and then sealed the pipes. When one of the pipes continued to leak slightly, he promptly returned to take care of the leak.

Description of Work: I had my old kitchen ceiling removed and had the ceiling re-sheet rocked.

Description of Work: I hired Bob to do a couple odd jobs for me that I simply didnt have time to do myself, from installing bi-fold closet doors, cutting an opening and installing pull down attic stairs and my house is a little older and has settled some so I also had him square up some door frames that the doors were tight and did not open properly and would close themselves. I am very happy I kept calling around because Bob gave me the best price out of all the other handymen I had called. He works quickly and I do know somethings about building so I checked out all his work and it was all done perfectly. I thought for sure there would be somewhat of a mess left over after the attic stair install since there was cutting of plaster but after he was done you would never have known he was there because he cleaned up everything so well. Anytime I need anything done He will be the one I call, I now have a goto guy I cant count on.
