Description of Work: The salesman that came out to the house was great! The pitch took far too long though. He was at the house for 4 hours. I was not happy that they would not give us an itemized quote or any paper copy. We only got a single number. I also did not appreciate the multiple calls trying to come back out to the house for a lower quote. During those calls I asked for a copy of the quote, which they refused. We chose another company for our project.

Description of Work: They installed a roof without checking for open soffits. The lack of ventilation caused mold growth which we had to remediate. They came out multiple times and tried to blame us for not knowing about soffits. They are the supposed roofing specialists. That is why we hired them. The siding does seem to have worked.

Description of Work: They replaced our front bow window and made it look easy. Pricey yes but the product and service were definitely worth it.

Description of Work: Prepare for THE HARD SELL. From the canvasser that shows up at your door unannounced to get you to accept a free consultation ("So, can I put you down for Thursday"?), to the receptionist that answers the phone and wants to go over the entire history of the sales process to date, to the salesman that spends HOURS in your living room getting you to buy, to the "Regional Manager" that comes back to your home, to "give you their best offer" but spends hours asking you questions (then giving you a card that says sales rep). Oh, I could go on for hours. Ultimately hired a local, family-owned company that did a great job at less than half the price.

Description of Work: The price given by Power for the same services was triple the amount that I paid to the roofing contractor that I did use. The shingles, ridge vent, etc. were all exactly the same so there is no reason I can think of why this price would be so far out of line. I got 6 other prices - including the contractor I chose - and those other prices didn't vary more than $2,500.00 +/- overall.

Description of Work: When they called to confirm an appointment for a shingle estimate, the CSR asked if my wife would be available, and I said "no". "Oh, that's going to be problem", he says. I asked "why?" "Oh, we like to have the wife in case there are any questions about style or color" "Not's not necessary", I replied." I make all those decisions." After reading all the reviews, I knew their game and I said, "Look, you may come out, measure the roof, I'll select the color, and you provide me with an estimate of what work will be performed, the time schedule for completion etc. You will have no more than 1 hour to do this." His response, "we don't work that way, we will have to cancel the appointment." I said, "fine". I thought end of story, but I was wrong. Then the harassing phone calls began, I lost count at 10 or 11, all times, all days. Finally I had to phone block the number. For their high pressured sales tactics alone, I wouldn't use them. They forgot the basics. The customer is always right.

Compared to other companies, windows were way overpriced. $3k to replace 3 with them, replaced 16 with a competitor for $9k and the quality was as good as Power. |Also don't appreciate the sales team and their constant calls. They constantly call and are quite pushy to get in the house. | |Otherwise the install team was very nice and professional and the quality of the window is very nice.

Description of Work: We used them to replace several windows and install insulation in our attic. We were very happy with the work they did and haven't had any problems with the windows. They cleaned up after themselves and were considerate of me being home with a newborn while they were working. But we have not been happy with them post-install. A couple months after completion they called to set up a time to discuss some new promotions they have for future work. We informed them we were not looking to do anymore work for some time since we just had such a large job completed but they were very pushy so we agreed. The sales guy was not happy at the end of the meeting when we said we didn't have the money in our budget for any additional projects at this time. They have continued to call both myself and my husband weekly, sometimes daily, since then. We have ignored their calls until we had enough and told them to stop calling or we won't be using them in the future for any projects. We stopped receiving calls after that. So yes, they do great work and we are 100% happy with that, but be prepared to be harassed and hounded by sales guys and phone calls.

Description of Work: Replaced 20 windows. Love everything about process except pressurized sales approach. I may call them for siding but only after I've done proper research. They want you to sign immediately and I don't like that style of business. Outside of that highly pleased.

Description of Work: The roofing crew was outstanding. They worked for over 12 hours without a break and completed the work in one day. Of course there was a mess but they were thorough about cleaning up, picking up small indivedual pieces by hand. There was some minor damage that was addressed within a week without me complaining about it. A bit on the high side of cost but all was done as promissed. I will make no response on quality until the roof has weathered for a year.

Description of Work: Last year Power Home Remodeling Group installed a beautiful and strong front door along with a large picture window and 3 smaller windows. We decided to have them do all the remaining windows (5) including 2 that are extremely large. They performed extremely well. I question the need for their extremely long sales presentation and was pleased that they do not repeat the presentation for this second time around. They are expensive but the product and professional completion of the job was well worth the price. Wish they would rethink the tiring performance that you have to go through in order to purchase.
