Description of Work: We got windows and siding. We went with Power because they replaced windows for us before. There products are of excellent quality and come with a life time warranty. As we are seniors we were looking to get a quality job that we will never have to worry about. The job was done in a timely manner, the workers cleaned up beautifully, and the house looks great!

Description of Work: We failed to do our research in advance and did not realize how high their costs - so shame on us. We had installed a picture window, two double-hungs, and a door with a sidelight and an extra large transom window. Everything came with a lifetime warranty, but the cost is far above what it should have been - we paid over $9000. The first scheduled installation was a debacle - one of us took the day off from work to be at the house for the installation, but we received a call that there was an issue with teh parts ordered. Literally HOURS later still no call back, clearly the first installation date was a wash and now we took a precious personal day from work for nothing - if it really was an issue with the parts ordered, then they should have checked this well in advance and no the morning of - |The second scheduled installation went fine and the man who did it was punctual and professional.

Description of Work: I had them replace my roof. I went with them partly because they included replacement of wood sheeting in the cost and I knew that I had rotting wood around the edges of the roof. That was the reason I replaced it when I did. A large part of their sales pitch to me was that they provide the wood replacement and other companies don't. Well, when they replaced the roof, they just cut off the bad wood and only patched one small spot, not the entire edge like they had pitched. Also, they rushed it into one day, so they did the cleanup at dusk and didn't do a very good job. The next day I found their work gloves, a sweatshirt, trash and a lot of nails in my driveway and back yard. Also, they left both of my gates wide open and I didn't realize it until after I opened the door and my two dogs who had been cooped up in the house all day darted out the door.

Description of Work: Replaced 4 windows and 5 new window caps on existing windows. |The workers did a nice job, professional and friendly. Were pretty neat, but I still had to clean up after them and we did find some screws in the driveway after they left. I always scour the yard after workers leave, since we did get a flat tire with a different company. |Their products and service are on the high side, but we are happy with the |results. My only negative comment is that they are continually trying to up sell.

Description of Work: I would never use this company. Their estimate was 3 times what I ended up paying. They lied by telling me I had substandard wiring in the attic, which I don't. The salesman would not leave the house. I finally had to say, please close the door so I can set the alarm. We will be reporting this company to the BBB.

We're looking into the details of your project and will be addressing your concerns internally with your remodeling consultant so that this does not occur again. As far as the discrepancy in price, in our over 24 years of business and 275,000 installs, we've never been the cheapest option and have been transparent about that with our customers - but we've always delivered one of the best installation experiences in the industry, along with a lifetime warranty service guarantee. We believe that $10,000, $12,000, $14,000 are all significant amounts of money. But for the scope of the work you requested, installing a project for that price is going to leave you dissatisfied with the quality of the product and the level of service and communication received. We’ve seen this exact scenario play out hundreds of times. Due to the significant amount of the project, the homeowners are forced to keep the inferior product - often times incorrectly installed – which often times results in a very expensive learning experience. At Power, we feel it is always better to invest a little more than you thought than to not invest as much as you should have.
