The workman arrived late the first day due to problems with a previous job,but immediately started work setting up tools to start first thing the following morning. The crew with project manager Andy came the second day at 7:30 am and worked all day until 6:00pm. They worked very hard and efficiently and completed the entire project in 2 and a half days.The job included removing all old siding and installing insulation and siding, All gutters and wiring were replaced perfectly.They even resided my old shed which matched the new siding.Ajob very well done!

This was the best professional contracting job we have had done...ever. We have gone through a lot of remodeling in the past 20 years. We have learned to go with professionals who ONLY do whatever it is you need. From the salesman to the actual workers to the foreman...everyone was easy to work with, smiled when you spoke to them, displayed complete cometency and professionalism, and the roof looks amazing! The crew arrived at 7:50 am and they were completely finished at 3:05 pm, right when my son's bus got home. We have a large roof and they had to pry off a lot of old stuff up there. They completely covered the house with tarps while they tore off old roof...it looked like night time in the house! They were great workers...no screaming and cursing on the roof (as I have witnessed too many times). The clean up job was the best...they used a tool that picks up every screw and nail, so I had no problem sending my kids out to play immediately after the crew left. My house looked cleaner after they left than when they arrived!
We would recommend this company to anyone and we plan to use them again. The price seemed a little high at first, but the warranty is 50 years, they cover everything, even acts of God, and the quality of the materials is better than average. They also use materials that a lot of roofers completely ignore, resulting in water getting under roof and eventually getting to the plywood. I say that from experience, not from the sales pitch!

Couldn't have been any happier with the team, the work performed, or the quality of the product. There is no doubt that you will pay more for their product, but it is clearly superior to the cheaper alternatives.
My house sits on a narrow lot and is positioned close to the neighbors. Power protected their windows, cleaned their properties, were here at 7am and done by 7pm. My property looked better when they left then before they arrived! The house has a complex roof line with a very steeply pitched main roof, intersecting large front dormer, intersecting back roof, an addition on the back and a wrap-around front porch. Additionally, there is quite a bit of flashing that goes against the brick exterior of the house. They properly scored the brick and bent-edge installed the flashing to ensure a leak-free product. I was very concerned about this because I know the hazards of roof installers who just adhere the flashing to the brick. Power does things the right way.
Just compare the quality of the product, you will see why they are more expensive. You get what you pay for, and I don't want to be reinstalling this roof in 10 or 20 years. I know I won't with this one! Many negative reviews reference the long presentation and hard-sell. it is long because it is thorough, so be prepared for that. You won't have them out in an hour! But listen to what is presented and spend some time looking at the samples, and you'll see the difference.

I intially contacted Power due to name recognition from bilboards, commercials, and retail locations. Their customer service employees were freindly and accomodating. However, I really was turned off by their sales tactics. The gentleman came to our home, meausred the house and than started his shpiel. Starting off with the history of Power, and information on their products. He showed us competitors products and jotted down how much it would cost is we went with them. Here is my first problem, he was comparing apples and oranges. We were looking to purchase white, dutch lap siding. One of the cheapest options. He was quoting us (for the other companies) fancier, colored siding. He then went into this long, dragged out story about UPS and its efficiency model. Honestly he was talking about UPS for atleast 20 minuets--and it was all stuff I already knew since I used to work for UPS. Bascially he was laying the ground work for their hard sell-aka efficiency model. Than instead of telling us a price he punched all these numbers in his laptop and spun it around. The price was $29,990 for just siding!!!! Didnt even include capping the windows!! Supposedley that included discounts for friends and family and for being BJs members, however we did not see those calculations. BUT if we signed a contract that night it would be $26,000, per their "efficency model". When we were uninterested he lowered the price even more by using his super manager skills, and including us in a marketing campaign to $22,000, but again, only if we signed that night. We were so disgusted by the attempts at manipulation we would never go with them. Which is a shame because they did have me convinced that they have a superior product, and we would have been willing to pay more for it.

Wow. In a bad way. Our roof had been leaking and I knew we needed some work done and someone from Power happened to be going door to door soliciting their services. I agreed to let someone come and give us a quote. I thought, hey, they'll come, take a look at the roof and leak, give us a quote. Boy was I wrong. They sent someone from Boston (I don't know why when the company headquarters is in Chester, PA) who came to our house at 7pm on a week night. Mind you, we have 2 children and at that time, one of them was a NEWBORN and he stayed for TWO hours!! He showed us a presentation, walked us through the entire composition of a roof, blah blah - wouldn't even show us the quote until we had endured the whole thing. The only reason we let him keep talking was because we wanted the quote and thought he was just about to give it to us. We even tried to hurry him along. We had to kick him out of the house by the end. We were so angry!! No matter what the quote was, we were not going to do business with them and never will! Plus, they ended up being WAY WAY more expensive than this great local business we found. Horrible. I would never ever use them.

I am submitting a second review of this company because of events that happened after our roof was installed. We were initially pleased with the company. After the roof was installed, we had a leak from a hard rain. They sent someone to address the problem, and we were satisfied that it was taken care of. HOWEVER -- we found that it wasn't. The next rain we had we had more leakage. We called and made an appointment to have it looked at again. No one showed up for the appointment and no one called us. We contacted the main office and got an apology without an explanation. We rescheduled another appointment. NO ONE SHOWED AGAIN!! No call. We are currently in the process of dealing with this. We are very unhappy, and must rescind our previous review. Buyer beware!!

This is the second time I have used PHRG this year. The windows in my 1920s home were drafty and had unsightly triple track storm windows. They were fantastics with reviewing all the details of their products, very enthusiastic but not pushy. They also worked with me to split up the project into more affordable increments. I appreciated the continuity of workmanship the same installers did both projects. Except for the new gorgeous windows you would never know work was done, they are so tidy.

It went excellent. A very smooth transition from them coming out to the house for the first appointment to the installation. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We went with Power Home Remodeling Group because they are able to do everything as one. Plus, the roof has a 50 year lifetime warranty (parts and labor) and the gutters have a life time warranty on them also. So it was worth the money. The day before the project you are called by a project manager who will be checking up on the work periodically through out the process along with having a training leader on site at all time.

Power Home Remodeling Group told me two days and they did it in one day. One person was taking out the window, another was fixing the are so they could put the other window working from the outside in, and there was no mess. They took all the measurements, named each room so they knew where the windows went, and they were very polite and nice. They explained to me they didn't have the basement sized windows so they told me where I could get them. They were excellent calling me back and they were here a little bit earlier than the time they told me.

Power Home Remodeling Group came out because of my search for new windows. I had double hung windows in the whole house and the seal on every one of them was broken and the windows were foggy. The limited warranty on them, of course, had expired. Power Home came out and demonstrated their windows and I was totally impressed and awed by their construction and lifetime warranty. The men came out to install them and got to work right away. They were very meticulous about how they fit and cleaned up after themselves, including vacuuming the floors, moving the furniture back in place and even cleaned the windows before leaving. Another inspector came by after they finished and went around to each window to make sure it was perfect. I am totally satisfied with their product and would recommend them to anyone wanting to replace their existing windows. They also have other home remodeling products and as soon as I pay for the windows, I'm going to have Power insulate my attic with their special insulation. I am soooo pleased with my windows and with this company.

.Called first thing in morning to confirm appointment was told they would be there between 8:00 and 10:00 got a call around 9:00 they would be late they did not arrive till 10:45. The company sent only two men to install all 12 windows they were not able to bring the door I was to have installed, the men they sent did a wonderful job they worked great but because of the late start they were here till after 6:00. I called the company three times to find if the door was still going to be installed they called back around 1:30 to inform me they were going to install the door on another day. I was upset that I had to call to find the door was not going to be installed the same day as the windows. I will say the windows look great the men did a wonderful job.

Service and professionalism was great from the sales guy (Tommy?) who came out to the installer (Steven?).
The sales guy gave a great pitch! He demonstrated the features of the windows - from the strength of the glass, to how much it blocks the heat and everything else in between.
The installer arrived on time, installed, cleaned up and answered any questions I had, esp in regards to the existing security sensors on the windows. He left the wire hanging out so the sensors could easily be changed by the home security guys.
Later that day, the project manager came out to inspect the work and also of course make a pitch for additional work! Which was ok, he was polite and not pushy.

we sat down with on of their sales reps, and he showed us the quality of windows they offered. we were very impressed with the windows, so we scheduled our windows to be installed right away. I was very happy with the work that was done it was fast and professional. we were also told we would see a difference in our energy bill my we did by almost half. I would recommend them to anyone, we also just purchased a rental property, and we need new windows there as well. we plan on calling them to replace those windows as well.

I ended up having two windows in the basement and one in the kitchen replaced. The two in the basement were fine. The one in the kitchen did not fit, the wooden inset part did not fit. They went out and purchased baseboard which still did not fit the window. I called them again to have them make the window fit. I finally had my handyman fix the window since they were unable to. I did not like the salesman and would not recommend them.
